A novel about a shattered family, broken hearts, and healing love by Rachel Van Dyken, the number one New York Times bestselling author of Stealing Her.Coming out of a coma was one hell of a wake-up call. While I was in the dark, my estranged twin brother, Bridge, had replaced me in the company I owned and swept up my fiancée in the takeover. With my ruthless reputation, can I blame them for … reputation, can I blame them for falling in love? I have to look long and hard at where I’ve been and where I’m headed. Alone time? The universe has other plans.
Our family’s secluded Vermont cabin comes with a gorgeous—if at first, unwelcoming—surprise. She’s renter Keaton Westbrook, a social media superstar struggling with her own private grief. As a winter storm bears down, we’ve found something to keep us warm—an intimacy neither of us expected and both of us need.
After we say goodbye, what happens then? Keaton and I are longing to reconcile with our painful pasts. I can’t bear to do it without her. Is it too much to ask of fate to give us a second chance at life and love?

Prepare yourself to be completely owned once again by a Tennyson brother.
I didn’t think I could love anyone more than I loved Bridge in Stealing Her (Covet, #1) but boy did RVD give it all to me when she gave me Julian and Keaton’s story. My God, my heart could not survive another Tennyson so thank goodness there is just the two of them.
“Our pain collided with that kiss. And like setting fire to gasoline. We were ignited whole”
Julian has woken from a coma to find his world turned completely upside down. He’s definitely not the man he was before. Not only has the accident changed him but his grief, a grief that he doesn’t know if he can ever come back from. This is not something he can beat alone but who would ever want him when sometimes it’s hard for him to reconcile the man he was before.
“Because it was him. Because he made me laugh. Because he made me feel safe and alive.”
Keaton was always in the limelight because of her celeb parents and also because of her own social media status. She was trying to deal with her loss, the grief of losing her first love and trying to write their story for the masses. How would she ever get the story done on her own when the weight of the grief was just too much to bear alone.
“Julian had no idea, did he? That as he was writing the end of Noah’s story- he was writing the beginning of ours.”
These are two people who know deep down they’ve found something special, they’ve found someone who gets them , gets their grief and their story. But can they get through it all to find at the end they are just beginning.

This invoked so many emotions!! Oh man where there tears. I wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I did considering I just liked the first one. But in this one Julian is looking for some type of redemption or just peace from the asshole he was before the coma. He wants to be better to be the man that his mother raised but he doesn’t know how to do it without her. Keaton lost the love of her life and because she is “America’s Sweetheart” everyone knows about it. Now she has a promise to keep to him by writing their story only she doesn’t know how to do it. When a chance encounter with Julian allows her to feel something other than sadness for the first time in over a year she grabs on to it. He offers to help her write her book but is he really helping her with the beginning of their story?
You definitely don’t want to miss this book. The way it dealt with loss was real and as someone who has experienced a lot of it it was written in a way to make you feel it. Don’t miss out on this book.
*I received an ARC for an honest review*
Finding Him (Covet, #2) by Rachel Van Dyken is a nice contemporary romantic read. Julian is the perfect anti-hero. We saw his flaws in Stealing Her and his redemption in Finding Him.This is a hard book for me to rate. I felt that most of the first 25%-30% of the book wasn’t ultimately essential to the story. It seemed rushed and unoriginal and didn’t endear me to Keaton. I actually ended up skimming a few pages to get to the meat of the story. And when I did, that’s where the beauty of the written word takes place. Keaton’s story about Noah is good, but what makes this story so much better is Julian’s written notes. That is what I really enjoyed. And still not a fan of Keaton at this point. I mean come on! Can you not see how hard the dude is trying? At any rate, it’s a good story, although falling a little short from the first book for me. I’d still recommend this book and any of the Eagle Elite Series by this author.
First off, make sure you read these in order. Julian came out of the coma and his life had drastically changed. His twin brother had stepped into his life and taken over his company and his place with his fiance and now the board has demanded he take a forced vacation. When he arrives at the family cabin on the verge of a blizzard he finds it inhabited by a beautiful woman who had just arrived who had rented it for a month. Keaton needed solitude to write the book she is on deadline but cannot seem to write. She is grieving the loss of her love and the book is about their love and loss. These two souls come together over grief and find love again. It was absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend this series!
OMG…Julian!! Seriously didn’t think I was going to like him as much as I did! Although I definitely wanted to see him get his happy ending, I didn’t expect he’d be so damn swoon worthy. While reading Stealing Her isn’t necessary to enjoy Finding Him, I highly recommend it, not just because it gives you more insight, but because it’s freaking amazing!
Keaton and Julian find themselves in a rather awkward situation when a snowstorm has them stranded together when they both wanted to be alone. This was made worse by the fact that they’re both sad and grieving, but also because Julian can’t seem to stop being an a$$hole! They initially hate each other, but soon discover some common ground and a sizzling chemistry. Suddenly being together, sharing their pain seems so much better than being alone. As much as they’d love to stay in the bubble they found themselves in, the outside world calls and it seemed nothing would be the same. The need they discover they have for each other…to heal, to be calm, to move forward, overrides everything. However, fear of letting go of the past, of guilt and public personas stands in their way of happiness.
RVD stole my breath with her beautiful words. This is such an emotional and moving story of love and healing.
Stealing Her is a beautiful story about a shattered family, broken hearts, and healing love!

You really just can’t go wrong with a book by RVD. She had me at the tagline: ” ℎ ℎ ℎ. ℎ ℎ ℎ ℎ ?”
Who doesn’t love a stranded in a cabin together during a winter storm trope? I’ll take all of them please, and this one is amazing. Loved Finding Him.
This is the second book in the Covet series. I do highly suggest that you read Stealing Her first. We do meet Julian in that book. He plays a big role in it.
I really disliked Julian in Stealing Her.
Only Rachel Van Dyken can make the unredeemable, redeemed.
I ended up truly loving Julian. He changed so much in this story. And there’s so much more to him than what it seems.
Keaten is great also.
I love how their story played out.
My heart broke for both of them.
Two broken people can help put each other back together again.
Julian and Keaton are both heartbroken. They are stuck together in a remote cabin during a snow storm. Can these two heal or together or will they break each other? A beautiful story and I am so glad that Julian and Keaton got their HEA!!

A word of warning this is one of those amazing books where you will find yourself ugly crying. It was an absolute amazing roller coaster of emotion. I was a little leery going into this book because I was worried that I would feel the hero would be unredeemable. Oh but I was wrong. This is a definite must read story with all the feels. Word of advice if you have not read the first book you should definitely read it first it makes the story all that much richer. But definitely do not miss out on this 5 Star read!
A great read that gave me all the feels. The main couple, Julian and Keaton, are so well paired. The way these two broken, grieving characters find their way to each other will have you turning the pages; laughing, crying, and even sighing with them throughout the entire book. A definite must read.
A novel about a shattered family, broken hearts, and healing love… all the feels in this one.
