“Jamie Fraser would be Deeply Gratified at having inspired such a charmingly funny, poignant story—and so am I.”—Diana Gabaldon, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Outlander seriesEscape to Scotland with the delightful novel that readers have fallen in love with—inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s #1 New York Times bestselling Outlander series. I met Jamie Fraser when I was nineteen years old. …
I met Jamie Fraser when I was nineteen years old. He was tall, red-headed, and at our first meeting at least, a virgin. He was, in fact, the perfect man. That he was fictional hardly entered into it…
On the cusp of thirty, Emma Sheridan is desperately in need of a change. After a string of failed relationships, she can admit that no man has ever lived up to her idea of perfection: the Scottish fictional star of romantic fantasies the world over—James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser.
Her ideal man might be ripped from the pages of a book, but Emma hopes that by making one life-altering decision she might be able to turn fiction into fact. After selling all her worldly possessions, Emma takes off for Scotland with nothing but her burgeoning travel blog to confide in.
But as she scours the country’s rolling green hills and crumbling castles, Emma discovers that in searching for her own Jamie Fraser, she just might find herself.

I am a fan of the Outlander series (seriously, who isn’t?), so when I saw this book I was intrigued. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As I read about Emma searching for her own Jamie Fraser in Scotland, all the remembrances of the romance and adventure I’d experienced reading Outlander came flooding back.
As a reader I felt a camaraderie with all the others in this book who had been touched by a well-told story. It was fun to imagine myself in Emma’s place. I loved that in the end Emma realized her journey and search was really more about finding herself and realizing the importance of friendship and following your dreams wherever they may lead.
If you are an Outlander fan (and even if you aren’t), then I recommend this book!
This is a really fun read. Emma is ready for an adventure, she has a plan and a travel blog. She is off to Scottland to find her 21st century “Jamie Fraser”! If you love Outlander, you will enjoy this book!
For everyone who ever fell in love with a fictional character. Dyer blends humor, a love of Scotland, and romance into a page turner that will keep readers cheering on the main character and turning pages.
I loved this book. It transported me to a Scotland I wished I’d grown up in. Everything about it is a delight, and it’s all authentic — the environment, the characters, the dialogue and the sheer enjoyment of it all.
This was such a cute book!!
I thought I was crazed about Outlander 😉 This book is about Emma and her obsession with Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander Book…and the months she spent in Scotland attempting to find her Jamie Fraser. It reads kinda like a diary…but is very entertaining. If anyone has thoughts of traveling to Scotland to find your “Jamie Fraser” …read this first. Emma has a lot of bumps along the way…but eventually finds what she is searching for.
If you’re a fan of Outlander, you owe it to yourself to read this. You know you want your very own Jamie.
I truly enjoyed Finding Fraser. As a long-time fan of the Outlander series (books and television) I was able to get the joke in every witty reference KC Dyer made. What a hoot.
A breezy, funny journey through Scotland with interesting characters. It really helps to be an Outlander fan!
I really enjoyed this story!
Fun
and touching
Very frivolous but a fun read!
A very enjoyable read, the main character was so relateable.
Best for readers of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander.
Fun read for every Outlander fan.
I couldn’t put this book down! Emma Sheridan, supreme Outlander fan, is a very endearing heroine who takes us along on her quest to find her very own Fraser. The journey hits some bumps and includes a few quirky characters along the way, but it is a journey worth taking and I’m glad I traveled along with her!
Cute concept but dragged in places.
If you are an Outlander fan this book is a nice light read. The lead character is a bit too naive for my taste (or maybe my age!).
Not Diana Gabaldon, but good nonetheless!
