I may be young, but I know what I want. I yearn to be submissive, both in and out of the bedroom. There’s nothing I crave more than being under the control of another man. Handing over power would fulfill a need I feel down to the marrow of my bones. What I don’t know is how to get it. This kind of relationship requires complete trust–something I don’t give to anyone except my only friend. Then … except my only friend.
Then along comes Dr. Aidan Kingsley. For the third time in my life, he helps me, without even knowing it, and someone like that, I can’t help but believe in. This is the man I’m meant to be on my knees for. Aidan is meant to be my Sir.
AIDAN
I’ve never had a full-time submissive.
I’ve certainly never had a houseboy, but when I meet Finley, I can’t seem to turn him away.
Instead, I decide to keep things simple, showing Finley that he can take pride on his knees but also stand on his own. He takes care of my home, and he gives me control, in a strictly platonic way, even though he wants more. He’s so beautiful, so naturally submissive, that I’m having a hard time sticking to my rules.
The more he flourishes and the more he craves from me, the tougher I find it to deny him. Before I know it, he’s under my skin. In my bed and in my heart. It wasn’t supposed to go this far. I was only supposed to give him the tools he needed to find his own strength, yet somehow, in the finding of Finley, I found myself too.
But my precious boy is only twenty; nineteen years my junior. And as I’ve told him, forever is a long time, and nothing in life is guaranteed.
**Finding Finley contains various knks, domestic discipline and a nineteen-year age gap. Please take that into consideration before deciding if this book is for you.

I can’t tell you how much reading Riley’s books have meant to me. Since the first book I read of hers, she has pulled me in and kept me there. She writes such wonderful, vulnerable, real people with real issues. She makes you love them. This book is no exception. Aiden and Finley meet in three stages of their lives and each time Aiden saves Finley, when Finley is just 10 years old, then at 14 and again at 19 years old. Aiden is a young doctor at a hospital that Finley’s Mom cleans on their first encounter. Each time since they first meet, Finley recognizes Aiden. It seems like their fate is destined on their third meet cute, but it’s not so cute. Finley has had a rough life, struggling since his Mom died and then living in the foster care system. Only by meeting Ian in the last home has made his life bearable. They became best buds, only having each others backs. Finley was struggling being a waiter, when he goes to work sick as a dog. Aiden and his fellow doctor friend David are the table Finley is assigned. Finley recognizes Aiden, but as luck would have it, his sickness and fumbling and encounter with Aiden causes him to lose his job. There is something about Finley that makes Aiden care enough to seek him out, finding him at a bus stop, being sick. Aiden takes Finley home and as compassionate as he is, he takes care of Finley. From here their story unfolds. Although their is a mutual attraction between them, due to their age gap, Aiden fights it. Each have demons from their past that closes them off, doubting their ability to truly love. We see their relationship blossom, watch their love and desire for each other grow till there is no more denying it. Aiden helps Finley to see his potential, has him get his GED and then onto college, where he meets Jordan. Initial attraction is there, but Finley only has eyes for Aiden so a fast friendship grows. David, Ian and Jordan fast become a family to them both. Aiden is so vested in his love for Finley and Finley’s need for family, that Aiden searches for someone in Finley’s past. When Aiden was conceived by his 16 yr old mother, her strict religious family turn their backs on her. As it turns out, Finley’s grandparents are dead, but he does have an aunt who has a husband an 2 daughters. Finley does not know that Jennifer is his aunt, only knowing stories his Mom has talked about her as a friend from her past. She was only 10 when Finley’s mother disappears, only being told that Finley’s Mom ran away. The aunt is elated to find the good news. Even though Jennifer is aware of Aiden and Finley’s relationship, she frowns upon it and tries to drive a wedge between them. Even though there are struggles, true love wins out and we have our HEA!
What an incredible journey into the world of service submission.
Finley’s deepest desire is to have a Dom, his “Sir”, to serve. The problem is, he can’t bring himself to submit to a stranger for his first time. When Aidan offers him a paid houseboy position, it seems like the perfect opportunity for Finley to explore his desires and needs. I’m glad Riley included flashbacks that show how Aidan and Finley met for the first two times, because it explains how nineteen year old Finley reacts to seeing Aidan and why he’s willing to trust him so quickly.
I haven’t read many books about service subs, so it was very interesting to get into Finley’s mind and understand why service brought him so much joy. It’s immediately apparent just how much pleasure Finley gets from serving Aidan. Finley is so eager and innocent and wants to please and serve his Sir in every way he can.
I thought the pacing of Finley and Aidan’s relationship was well done. Aidan is so careful with Finley, making sure he never feels trapped or forced into something he doesn’t want. I could feel how deeply Finley cared about Aidan, adored him even, at the beginning of their arrangement. I felt like I was right there with him as he fell in love with Aidan. Finley was also so deliciously needy for physical contact at the beginning of the book–it felt like such a heady build-up, waiting to see if and when Aidan would give in and explore the sexual chemistry between them. And when he did it was scorching! Some of the kinks Aidan and Finley explored have never interested me, but it was very hot to read about. I’m so impressed that Riley was able to write about such a wide variety of kinks in such a compelling way.
I wouldn’t consider this a slow-burn romance, but Aidan was very cautious about calling Finley his partner. These two do have a significant age gap, so I understand why Aidan wanted to make sure Finley was ready. It was so sweet to see how Finley got past Aidan’s walls and into his heart. I also liked that while Aidan is a Dom, he wasn’t always harsh, demanding, and uncompromising. Even though he certainly dominated Finley, he was willing to give in to some of Finley’s whims because they made him happy. I love that Aidan truly wanted Finley to be his best, with no ulterior motive.
Finley and Aidan’s back-stories made me want to cry, but I’m glad they didn’t become huge dramatic points in this story. This book, at its core, is about the journey of a submissive finding his true happiness, and while there were important plot points outside of it, nothing distracted from the loving relationship Aidan and Finley shared. Just when I thought my heart couldn’t melt any more, the epilogue wrecked me. Such a perfect “happily ever after” for these two–can’t think of a better ending to their story.

A hot and sexy journey of discovery, Finley and Aiden bring steam to the pages as well as a beautiful sense of belonging.
Wow what an emotional read. The way Aiden opens up and Fin grows and the decision he makes at the end. Another beautifully written story from Riley. Thank goodness for KU so I can read all the good
