Finding Claire is a pager turner. Be prepared. You will not want to put this book down from page one to the end it holds you! Rainy is first saved by Alex. And on to finding Claire. Enjoy!
The Blue Reboso – Another heartwarming, interesting story using an ancestor from the author’s own family as the main character. There are two actually, the Reboso plays a important part in the story. Well written and interesting in the telling of time history and the perils and struggles faced by people then. The characters are developed enough to be interesting and you root for them. The storyline is well developed and I feel I’m there with the family as the story unfolds. A job well done with blending fact and fiction.
I love that it is set in Texas, is accurate and is told by an Hispanic. It is always interesting to read how all people have to deal with life. This is an author I enjoy, having read several of her stories, and I always look forward to reading more of her entertaining work. 5*
The Wrong Path – I enjoyed this short story. It was well written, shocking and funny. The characters were just introductions so it would take a longer story to know more about them. The author did do a good job of describing them and the events as they unfolded. Perfect for a coffee break or a few minutes relaxation. 5*
I chain read these three stories and couldn’t put any of them down until I was finished. It helps to read Just A Friend before reading Finding Kate, but it’s not necessary.
Finding Claire #1 – Mesmerizing! Heartbreaking! I dislike stories about kidnappings, but this one was written in a way that was beautiful and heartbreaking. The kidnapping was just a foundation for a wonderful story. This book is a fast paced, well written suspense with realistic characters and dialogue and an interesting plot. This is the first story I’ve read by this author and I’m looking forward to reading Finding Kate. Library. 5*
Finding Kate #2 – Heartwarming. Finding Kate picks up where Finding Claire stops. I really recommend reading FC first. Another well written, suspense-filled story with believable characters, realistic dialogue and a twisting plot. This story is a fast paced, action packed thriller. I contacted the author to review her books. 5*
Just A Friend (#1.5?) – What can you say? This story started great and then, the truth appeared. A well written, but quickly read short story about young love and life; it brings strong emotions out in the reader. I read Finding Kate next and discovered this story is part of Finding Kate and then, I understood the abrupt ending of JAF. 5*
Good thriller. Unexpected turns
Wow, fantastic story. I couldn’t put it down until I had finished it. It is everything a romantic mystery should be.
I have never read a story like this one. It is a mysterious mystery. Such a mystery I was confused through most of the book. It was only at the VERY end that the truth was revealed & it all made sense to me. I could never figure out who the mother & father were. The letters the mother wrote (interspersed throughout the book) caused me so much cunfusion & is the main reason I took off one star. It really is a most unusual mystery. I’m interested in reading the other books in the series.
My favorite book of the summer!
I just finished this book this afternoon. I enjoyed it a lot. It’s a new author for me but I will be reading more for this one. This is a stand alone novel (which is my favorite kind) and has a HEA!
This is about a young woman, 31 years of age who is kidnapped right in front of her sister in a mall parking lot. The sister (Meg) is knocked unconscious so she doesn’t realize what has happened to her sister. The kidnapped girl does not know who she is when she wakes up and finds herself in the back of a white cargo van. Somehow the girl is able to escape and runs through the forest, in the middle of the night looking for help!
There is a lot of intrigue, bad guys, good guys and an interesting side note to this book. I couldn’t put it down!
If you like romantic suspense this is a book for you! You won’t be disappointed!!
Another book that I didn’t want to end. Excellent story!!!!
Very tragic. For the love of a child.
Enjoyed following the characters in the story.
LOVED IT.
I really enjoyed the story with all the twists and turns. A very original plot. The characters danced off the page. Keeps you guessing until the very end. Thanks
Very good
Loved the characters and the story telling was brilliant. I enjoyed every second of the book. So well written.
I also read the next 2 in the series. Loved them all!
Easy reading
Good read!
Romantic without a lot of graphic sex. Unfortunately some good authors fail to see the line between romance and porn.
Loved the book, really looking forward to book two, Finding Kate.
I found it a page turner! As the story goes on you begin to think you know what is going on. But you want to keep reading until the last page. I enjoyed this book so much I’ve download the two other books in the series!
