This book was wonderful. Definitely add it to your TBR pile if you love Christian romantic fiction with themes of forgiveness.
This story began with heartbreak and anguish and then led me through twists and turns that made me shake my head at times. Other times I fussed at the characters. It is one of the most emotional books I have read recently. The author created this amazing story. I didn’t want to put it down.
Well developed characters and storylines. Faith in God, no swearing nor graphic sex. Nice quick sweet read
Tayla Alexandra’s story puts us in an unusual situation. Running from a hurtful situation, Alissa ends up in a horrible accident. When she awakes in the hospital Alissa has no memory of her previous life. Derek, who was the first on the scene of her accident, is struck by her exact resemblance to his late wife. He makes a sudden decision to take her home to his children and to convince her she is his late wife. Good intentions sometimes have a way of jumping up and biting us and this is what eventually happens. Amazingly this story line makes sense and I can follow Derek’s line of thinking as misguided as it is. A few surprises await Alissa and Derek.
When Alissa discovers that her fiancé cheated on her she got in her car and left. Then she got an accident and lost her memory. Derek, who lost his wife a year ago, founds her and convinced her she was his wife. Can you build a lasting relationship on lies?
This is a really interesting and entertaining story. It’s about building a family, trusting God and forgiveness.
Looking forward to read more books by this author.

Finding Alissa is a story that was catch your attention from page 1!
Alissa is engaged to be married and finds out her fiancé is cheating on her so she flees, with no idea where she is headed. She gets into a bad car wreck that causes her to lose her memory for awhile and she doesn’t remember anything. Derek is mourning the loss of his wife after a year of her being gone. He stumbles upon the wreck of Alissa’s car and is dumbstruck by how much she resembles his late wife. She gets out of the hospital, he takes her home and he has her believing she’s his wife and mother to his kids. At first this all goes well. But then she starts to remember things and her fiancé finds her. And everything gets mixed up. But she also learns she was a twin who was adopted and she was the twin to Derek’s late wife… In the end the the truth is revealed to everyone. Derek and Alissa both find healing in their lives and find that they love each other. And through God’s Grace and redemption, they become a family together and hope is restored in their lives!
This was definitely different from anything I’ve read by Tayla Alexandra. But I really enjoyed it! This was a great story!!
Finding Alissa is a clean, well-written romance. The characters are likable, but imperfect. Both Alissa and Derek had fallen away from their faith, but are restored. There are twists and turns to the plot. I liked the pace of the book; there are not any parts that drag. I enjoyed reading this work by Tayla Alexander and recommend it to clean romance readers and to Christian romance readers. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
