When Farrah catches her boyfriend getting hands-on with a model at a swanky holiday party, she flees, hurt and humiliated. Caught after dark in a bad part of town, she ducks into a bar where straitlaced Caleb is a breath of fresh chivalry—perfect. Ready to burn her bridges, Farrah goes home with Caleb for a round of incendiary revenge sex. By the time her boyfriend’s 2 a.m. text claims it was all … all a misunderstanding, it’s too late: she’s the cheater now. Horrified, Farrah sneaks out. She resolves to do better, yet she daydreams of the hot stranger, not the supposedly loyal boyfriend she wronged.
Caleb’s all-in when a gorgeous, funny woman materializes in the bar. He throws out his rule book, unable to resist taking her home. When he wakes up alone, he’s GOT to find her again, but all he has is a single mitten …
Finders, Keepers is a fast, fun novella: a sexy modern Cinderella story with a dash of humor, plenty of spice, and NO CLIFFHANGERS!
Interview with the author:
Q: What made you decide to write Finders, Keepers?
A: I love a good story about a quest, and modern twists on fairy tales, and love triangles are fun. I also wanted to explore the gaslighting that can occur in a relationship—all abuse isn’t overt, and to write about a creative woman who dares to buck the “safe option” of her steady job. It’s also an homage to the connection with loved ones that a gift of love, especially handmade, can bring, in this case, the mitten her grandmother knitted, and I do love holiday stories, especially with some comedy and a good sense of place, as well as stories about friendship.
About Chloe:
Chloe writes steamy, fun novels about ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, smart women and men who aren’t jerks. Her stories feature friendships—close women or a good bromance—with all the feels: the thrill of a smoldering gaze or the barest brush of fingertips, the shocked gasp at the underhanded villain, the angst of heartbreak, the joy of reunion, and of course, happily ever after!
She enjoys humor and embarrassing situations as well as a vicarious sneak peek into intriguing groups (military personnel, medicine, another culture like Greece, sailing, diving, or rock climbing…) A little danger is always fun, so many contain a thriller subplot.
She hates to read the same old thing, with only the names and places changed, so her goal is to bring you a fresh, fun, new story every time, with NO CLIFFHANGERS: a rollicking, great escape that whisks readers away and love prevails.

Really enjoyed this sweet story…was worried that it wasn’t going to be a HEA…can’t wait to find more books by this author…
An insta connection romance read / listen. Well written with main characters Farrah and Caleb. Farrah undergoes some much needed character growth and Caleb just made my heart melt – he is just about the perfect guy – protective and caring. The narration was a little choppy for me but still easy to listen and follow along with. Smooth flowing storyline – and the writing will have you vested in their outcome and wishing for a HEA!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

This was a fun, enjoyable story with really good main characters.
I didn’t like Farrah’s boyfriend Justin though. For someone who loves her he sure was busy trying to change her. He didn’t really like her fun, funky appearance and ways. I on the other hand did enjoy them. He appeared to be subtle about it but he really wasn’t. Someone described him as a douche and it really seemed to fit. Also pretentious was mentioned and that seemed to be right on. I wasn’t rooting for him at all. Farrah definitely deserved better. And the more I read about Caleb, he sure seemed to be the better man.
Caleb sure was a hardworking, honorable man who is gobsmacked when he met Farrah. I liked that he was holding two part time jobs as he continued his studies. He sure was more appreciative of Farrah than Justin was. In both his words and his actions.
There is miss after miss when it comes to the times that Caleb and Farrah try to catch up with each other. The one missing mitten made me smile and think it was reminiscent of Cinderella and her left behind shoe. It didn’t overtake the story though which I felt was good.
I liked how the story ended with a well deserved H.E.A.
“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”
This is a fun story with realistic characters and story line. The author brings an entertaining dialogue and weaves a sweet romantic comedy. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I am not a usual romance reader, but I just finished “Finders, Keepers” by Chloe Holiday, and she delivers on her promise to take you away from your tribulations. The story immersed me.
“Finders, Keepers” transported me to another place populated by great personalities, both male and female. I fell in love with Farrah, the main character. At first, I thought, what’s with Farrah? A famous actress wore that name in a TV show, so it didn’t seem right until I kept reading, and the exceptional dialogue of the main character explained why. I laughed, as Farrah is perfect.
The story moves nicely between exposition and dialogue, steamy romantic scenes and day-to-day living, both vivid and engaging and often witty. Each individual is authentic, and the story believable.
‘ Finders, Keepers’ is a good, fun romp and a recommended read. Bonus, there are four more books in this romance series.
3.5 stars.
Cute little story about finding the right person to love. Although there’s cheating involved (by Farrah as well as her soon-to-be-ex boyfriend Jason), I did like the storyline. I definitely loved Caleb when he bought and took care of “Little Fizz“.
This review is based on the audiobook. I didn’t care much for the narrator. She spoke without much enthusiasm and way too slow for me, I had to adjust the speed.
I was intrigued by the title and “discovering” a new author, and decided to give this audiobook a try.
Maybe because I am older, this one was not for me.
Farrah , a young woman out with her artist boyfriend Justine, finds him cheating her with another woman in the middle of a party. She runs out of the venue , ending up in a less than safe area. Entering a bar she meets Caleb, a young man who makes her feel safe and desirable. She ends up having a one night stand with him. When she realizes what she’s done and her boyfriend says she mistook the tableau, Farrah feels guilty.
But not everything is what it seems and as they both try to find the other, I lost interest.
As to the narrator, she was just ok.
All in all , for me , it was a 2.5.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook by StoryOrigins. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
This book was okay, but didn’t grab me. The storyline was fine and I’m sure many readers will enjoy it overall. I’m not a fan of cheating and running off and having revenge sex and then forgiving her boyfriend based on a misunderstanding didn’t sit well with me. Second, I found the goose references strange and not amusing. It just wasn’t for me, not my style of humor.
