Lisa Gardner’s runaway New York Times bestseller—a fast-paced thrill ride featuring Detective D. D. Warren.Seven years ago, carefree college student Flora Dane was kidnapped while on spring break. For 472 days, Flora learned just how much one person can endure.Miraculously alive after her ordeal, Flora has spent the past five years reacquainting herself with the rhythms of normal life, … with the rhythms of normal life, working with her FBI victim advocate, Samuel Keynes. She has a mother who’s never stopped loving her, a brother who is scared of the person she’s become, and a bedroom wall covered with photos of other girls who’ve never made it home.
When Boston detective D. D. Warren is called to the scene of a crime—a dead man and the bound, naked woman who killed him—she learns that Flora has tangled with three other suspects since her return to society. Is Flora a victim or a vigilante? And with her firsthand knowledge of criminal behavior, could she hold the key to rescuing a missing college student whose abduction has rocked Boston? When Flora herself disappears, D.D. realizes a far more sinister predator is out there. One who’s determined that this time, Flora Dane will never escape. And now it is all up to D. D. Warren to find her.

Horrifying, thrilling, and absolutely brilliant! Gardner grabbed me by the throat and never let go. She had me so twisted and angst-ridden that I suspected everyone and was certain of nothing, right up until the shocking end. Easily one of the best thrillers I’ve read.
I enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down once I started reading. I liked that you want to find her, and you care about her, but you don’t love her, and I don’t think she wants to be loved right now. I’ll read more by Lisa Gardner and hopefully more will feature some repeating characters.
This started out slow for me up to half way. All in all it turned out pretty good and decent.
Find Her is a book by Lisa Gardner
Not to be confused with Lisa Jackson
Two outstanding authors,in their own writing
Style. This book is about college students on spring break in Florida being kidnapped
and being held or disappeared.
Another thriller that I could not put down until the very end.
Wasn’t at all like the past books. Slow read.
Maybe I’m not that bright but the plot twists kept me questioning what I thought.
Gardner’s DD Warren character is one of my favorite characters. She is a complicated person who gets involved in very interseting cases.
One of the best books I’ve ever read!
