JANUARY 2018 Brand New Release from Chuck Driskell In 1938, as the Third Reich is just beginning its reign of terror, hundreds of Jewish orphans are hidden away in Austria, in the midst of their underground escape to Palestine. The only man who knows their location is killed, leaving the children with precious little time to survive. The dead man leaves a single set of instructions: Find U.S. … single set of instructions: Find U.S. Department of War agent Neil Reuter—he will save the children. Reuter, who is part-Native American, is a wreck, grieving the murder of his wife and unborn son. Realizing this mission goes beyond his grief, he accepts, hurtling himself toward the menace of the Third Reich. Relentlessly pursued by the Nazis, as well as his own people from the U.S. Department of War who believe he’s traveling into the Reich to assassinate Adolf Hitler, Reuter uses his unique set of skills to battle his way from San Francisco to England, through Germany and on to Austria in a race against time to find the hidden group of children.
A sweeping saga of espionage and suspense, over the backdrop of a tantalizing love story, FINAL MISSION: ZION combines modern storytelling with the excitement and cliffhangers of the classic Saturday afternoon movie serial.

I enjoyed the story, except I didn’t like the steamy parts. Those could have been left out.
Well written and realistic. People today need to continue to read books about the Third Reich and the terrible things the Nazis did. The characters were believable, well developed and real. If this incident did not actually happen, I’m sure similar ones did. People also need to be reminded that there were people who put their lives on the line during WWII to resist the Nazis and help Jews escape Germany and Austria.
Good reading good writer
Started slow..put it down..almost didn’t pick it back up.
A thought provoking insight into the thinking of ordinary people in Europe before WWII. A
Picture of how desperate Jewish parents were to save their children.
It kept my interest. Loved it!
New insights into a troubling time in American, British, German, and Austrian history.
The story kept my interest. I did not need the sexual aspect to keep my interest. The plot was entertaining enough.
I like it very much, it was unpredictable but it ended with good feelings for what was supposed to happen .
Suspenseful
Very exciting all the way thru.
This book brought pre-war Nazis in clear focus and the people of Germany. How horrible to feel such fear of your country men. I was struck by the decadent lifestyles of the ones in power in the United States and Germany. Did power rob them of their humanity?
The characters are well developed in a very interesting manner. You feel connected and repulsed to the people in this struggle. Well written and exciting look into a time we have read about in history books. Bravo
Amazing characters. Very interesting full of excitement. Loved every minute of it. So suspenseful had to put it down for a few hours.
Would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys really interesting historical novels. Many thanks to the author for a great book.
It definitely was a page turner. Great read
This book was slow getting started but then i was definitely hooked and couldn’t put it down. I think it would make a terrific movie. I don’t usually read this type of book and had never heard of the author before. However I would recommend it to anyone who likes a story with historical setting and deep meaning. Those of us who remember the Second World war and the horrible things that happened would understand.
Moved smoothly from one chapter to another. Built suspense at just the right pace. Story line filled with who what why when and how, joys, sadness, some romance, commitment, self discovery. Definitely a 5 star read
Well worth reading
An awesome story of a terrible time in history. The violence and senseless killing and beating are handled well. The duplicity of the American government is not ignored. I couldn’t put this down.
You won’t want to put it down. Fantastic story!
A very good read…hard to put down. Well crafted with a lot of twist and turns.
Brings the war to life.
