JANUARY 2018 Brand New Release from Chuck Driskell In 1938, as the Third Reich is just beginning its reign of terror, hundreds of Jewish orphans are hidden away in Austria, in the midst of their underground escape to Palestine. The only man who knows their location is killed, leaving the children with precious little time to survive. The dead man leaves a single set of instructions: Find U.S. … single set of instructions: Find U.S. Department of War agent Neil Reuter—he will save the children. Reuter, who is part-Native American, is a wreck, grieving the murder of his wife and unborn son. Realizing this mission goes beyond his grief, he accepts, hurtling himself toward the menace of the Third Reich. Relentlessly pursued by the Nazis, as well as his own people from the U.S. Department of War who believe he’s traveling into the Reich to assassinate Adolf Hitler, Reuter uses his unique set of skills to battle his way from San Francisco to England, through Germany and on to Austria in a race against time to find the hidden group of children.
A sweeping saga of espionage and suspense, over the backdrop of a tantalizing love story, FINAL MISSION: ZION combines modern storytelling with the excitement and cliffhangers of the classic Saturday afternoon movie serial.

One of my favorite authors. His stories keep you on the edge of your seat. Some times nail biters, sometime laugh out loud. Love this writers style!
Chuck Driskell did a terrific job in creating drama that was spellbinding and he had characters who are memorable! The story moved along and was definitely a page-turner. He did a wonderful job on this book.
Great until the ending b
Oh my goodness! This kept me wondering what could happen next. It was really well thought-out, and kept me guessing at what was coming on the next page. Great read!
Was a very fast moving and over whelming history
Poorly written. Only kept going to find out the ending.
The ending was a total surprise.
Good book
Overlong, tedious and trite. I really had to struggle to finish.
Wonderful book
Great read very sad time in world history
This is an EXCELLENT, well-written, compelling story. Memorable characters and a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout!!!! I highly recommend this book as it tell of the horrors of Nazi rule in Europe during WWII. A MUST read!
A captivating saga of a man’s determination as he struggles against forces in his efforts to recue Jewish orphans from Hitler’s Germany. A well thought out story line and so well written that I could not put it down
Best book I’ve read in a while.
Good story.
I enjoyed this book a lot.
This is an excellent book—well-written and plotted. Takes you away to another place and time.
I loved almost everything about this book. I’m not big into war stories, but this was not an overload of battles. It was more information about the Nazis rise to power, which I enjoy reading about. The characters were phenomenal; so true to life. The story was fast-paced and entertaining, as well as beautifully written. I loved Chuck Driskell’s writing style very much. The man can tell a story! The next to last chapter was terrific. Always nice to see someone get their comeuppance.
Neil Reuter, a San Francisco millionaire, served in WW I as a soldier but kept working for the government as a covert assassin for over twenty years. At the start of this novel, he has been drunk for two years – ever since his pregnant wife Emilee had been murdered. As Hitler is coming to power in the late 1930s, Neil receives a posthumous letter from his lifelong friend Jakey. Jakey has been smuggling hundreds of Jewish children at a time out of Germany, and helping them move to Palestine. This book tells Neil’s story as he searches for the hidden children while evading evil Americans and Germans. Neil finds love and redemption in this page turner which often left me breathless.
A wonderful story…well-writte… with many twists and turns…brough memories of Ludlum and AJ Quinnell novels…
Great character development and multiple characters overlapping. Good ending
