Would you tell your husband everything?Every torrid thought?Every dirty sexual fantasy?I shouldn’t have. I hesitated to. But I did.And my husband? He gave them all to me. Series Reading Order:Filthy Vows (#1)Twisted Marriage (#2)There are no other books planned in this series.
This was a good story that was very well written. From the Blurb I thought this book was going to be a lot steamier then I expected but it was still amazing. Alessandra Torre
This was a sexy read about a couple who go from pillow talking sexual fantasies to actually fulfilling them.
I loved Easton’s passion. He would do anything to make his wife happy and satisfied. There is so much love, chemistry, and open communication with these two. It made their relationship and marriage easy to connect with.
Overall a very enjoyable read.
Wow, what a story! I confess I skipped to the end of this book first (don’t judge!) because I had to see how the three get together. I blame the delectable prologue which basically teases you so intensely that you really can’t help it. And “the scene” was hotter than anything I’ve read in a long, long, time.
So then I went back and read the book to see how Elle, Easton, and Aaron get to this intense and so very personal scene. Elle and Easton are married and though have serious sexual chemistry, seem trapped by their broken dreams. It’s like they need each other even more because of this. Easton lives in fear that he can’t give Elle what she deserves. Elle is keeping her deepest sexual fantasies a secret, until an encounter with Easton’s best friend, Aaron, tips her hand.
One thing that started to pull me down is Elle’s character. While I felt for her, she seemed more interested in getting what she wanted than fixing her problems. And the relationship between Elle and Easton…I found myself wondering, do they have anything else in common besides their sexual appetite? That part made me a little sad.
What I loved about this story is the intense love they share, and the trust. Aaron comes into their bedroom almost reluctantly, and I found that quite endearing, and of course extremely hot as he goes absolutely wild for Elle once they get started. That’s every woman’s dream, right? To be adored and desired, even by men who are not her husband.
The book ends with a sort of post-coital hum, where the consequences still haven’t fully blossomed. Apparently, in book 2 we may be seeing more of these characters in the bedroom, and possibly the addition of Elle’s best friend. I will definitely be reading on to find out how this all happens, though I’m sort of dreading it because it can’t possibly end well for all of them.
4.5 Stars for this very steamy romance. This couple take a walk on the “Wild Side” and it is hot! I don’t care for books about threesomes, so I wasn’t too sure about reading this book. Even though there is a Threesome, it’s not the typical plot where the heroine falls for two men, which never works for me. This is an untraditional love story between Elle and E North, where their sexual fantasies come alive within the bounds of a loving marriage. I know that doesn’t sound right, but these two seem to make it work.
This story right here is a reminder as to why Alessandra Torre will always be a favorite author of mine. She really knows how to make you blush. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!
This story starts when Elle and Easton met in college and progresses from there into marriage, but not all their dreams come true. Now here is a personal question, what would you do to make your partner happy? Would you allow another person in your marriage? What about in your marital bed? It takes a special person to allow another person to have intimate relations with your spouse while you watch or would you participate? So many questions, so many lies we tell ourselves, after all, it’s just a fantasy!
Where do I even start on this one!?! Elle and Easton were perhaps the HOTTEST Married Couple I have EVER read. From the beginning I was pulled in by their story and what happens between the pages is nothing short of one of the most erotic things I’ve ever read. Their marriage is lacking that spark and when Elle’s secret fantasies are discovered, the pair find themselves tumbling down a rabbit hole of passion and fire they can’t come back from. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing! In fact, their journey strengthens their marriage while they explore a side to one another they never knew existed in the other. It’s passionate, it’s erotic, and it’s everything you would want to see after the vows are read. That a marriage can survive the tough times and the bond can be strengthened even more!
**UPDATE** at the suggestion of the author, I have now also journeyed down a path of getting to know Brad De Luca, and he is competing with Easton for one of the hottest men Alessandra has ever written. So excited I got to go back and read that series as well in preparation for the Twisted Marriage sequel to this!
This book was hot, hot, hot!! I will say, though…while I loved the story, I’m not sure I would have the guts to tell my husband everything she told hers. And I know mine wouldn’t be as eager to indulge my fantasies.
Overall, it was a super-steamy read that I devoured in a matter of days (regardless of my tardiness is posting a review). I’m dying to see how everything plays out in Twisted Marriage. Thank gawd I don’t have to wait much longer to find out!
I love this author and this book!
So hot. So very hot.
In Filthy Vows, Alessandra Torre, tackles marriage. Elle and Easton have been through a lot of challenges yet their love and attraction remains as strong today as the day they met. However, the pandora’s box is open with simple questions – Would you tell your husband everything?
Every torrid thought? Every twisted fantasy?
Alessandra delivers a steamy, hot, sexy look at the intimate insides of a marriage. The chemistry between the spouses, causes you to flip page after page as you can’t look away. They mesmerize you and quickly realize you will follow this couple anywhere.
I sped through this novel in record speed and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Elle and Easton. More … please.
Hot Hot Hot! I wasn’t really sure where this book would go and I liked her spin. Great story about a couple I didnt want to stop reading about. Cant wait for their next book!
Alessandra Torre always pulls such a range of emotion out of me—this story kept me swooning late into the night.
This was a well written book, but it just wasn’t for me. The story was slow and I had a hard time connecting /liking the characters. The last part of the story was steamy, but I wasn’t a fan of the ending. Im bummed I didn’t love it. I guess I thought it was going to be different.
Filthy Vows was a quick, steamy read that left me wanting more! This storyline was so unique to anything I’ve read before and I loved it! Easton and Elle’s story was delicious and raw, an honest look at the inner workings of a marriage and how partners can change over time. I loved their relationship. Their banter and candor with each other was perfect. The look into Elle’s thoughts and emotions drew my own emotions to the surface. I can’t wait for the next book from this world!
Elle has been married to Easton for 7 years, he was the hot guy to have back in college and boy did she get him and his ahem impressive penis. He was destined to be a major league pitcher and she was destined to follow him around and have his babies, but an unexpected and career ending injury dampened those hopes. But Elle and Easton, have remained together, happy and having the best sex life ever. With her having fertility issues, yet she has the vivid sexual fantasies. Not that her husband is a dud in bed, he’s all giving. Until that one night in Vegas wherein, her husband’s best friend watches them unintentionally.
Easton, oh ladies, we should all want a man like him. He wants his wife to be happy and will do whatever it takes.
So I’m going to leave it at that. I really enjoyed my read, but at times felt Elle was a bit into her head and jealous for no unknown reason. And maybe I felt she was a bit selfish, but that’s just me.
Yes, this book ends in a cliffhanger, yes the sexy times between Elle and Easton were super hot, when we get to the really interesting part, it doesn’t happen until later in the book, which that didn’t bother me. Why, because I love how the author plotted the story and how we get to the point of no return, sort of speak.
So I like many readers will wait with baited breath to see what happens now that Elle and Easton went there.
The raw egg cracked and eaten off her body was gross.
Most of the book was just fantasies. Basically one encounter then nothing after that. The book just ends.
I enjoyed parts of this story but overall I just didn’t connect with it. The book was hot, of course, but there was something about Elle that prevented me from connecting to her character. She had wayyy too much inner dialogue and I found myself growing bored of her. She felt entirely too self-involved.
I love Alessandra’s books and the all-out heat she brings to them but unfortunately this one fell a bit flat for me.
It’s amazing how a blurb that isn’t all that long can grab your attention and have you scooping up a book. Filthy Vows has that type of blurb. It intrigued me enough to make me pick it up and start it right away. Turns out the blurb implies way more than what I actually got, leaving me deflated but this was a good read for what it really is.
Elle and Easton have a good marriage but Elle has dirty fantasies running through her head that she just can’t seem to shake. It’s to the point that she has to “take care of herself” frequently. An unexpected event allows Elle to tell Easton about her fantasies and he makes it his mission to make one come true.
Filthy Vows starts off slowly with Elle and Easton meeting in college after her best friend, Chelsea tells Elle all about how good Easton is in bed. Chelsea is not a commitment type girl, so when Easton approaches Elle, they start dating and eventually marry. So much for girl code, but *I think* that this situation was meant to foreshadow Elle’s more open mentality but I could be wrong.
After that, the majority of the story revolves around the fantasies Elle keeps having, her reluctance to talk to her husband, her job, Easton’s job and the happenings of their friend’s (Chelsea and Aaron) lives. Elle’s fantasies are hot and make for interesting reading but it’s not until a Vegas trip (50% in) that the tension really begins as Easton is determined to give his wife what she wants and Elle is conflicted as to the repercussions.
Once Easton and Elle come to an agreement about enacting her fantasy (85% in), it quickly happens. Now, I won’t take away from the fact that the scene is as hot as a raging forest fire, cause it absolutely is BUT it is one scene. The rest of the book is the repercussion of them going through with it.. the end.
The truth is I don’t take issue with the book itself. It is a good read. It gives a look into a marriage that is solid and real. It has main characters that are completely relatable and side characters that enrich the story however, it’s not what the title and blurb give the impression it is. Easton and Elle don’t act out and even talk much about ALL her fantasies, they indulge in one. So as long as you go into this read knowing the blurb is different than the story, it should be an enjoyable read.
