Making deals is my specialty. And tonight, my terms are…her. I hate Christmas. For years, I’ve avoided the holiday entirely. Until Kandy Kane enters my life—the same seductive mystery woman I danced with at a club last night. When she shows up at my company the next day as our Christmas party planner, she’s desperate for help with her little problem. My hot elf in striped tights needs a …
My hot elf in striped tights needs a last-minute Santa.
And I need her. In every way possible. And this time, she’s not going to run. Alone in my remote cabin for the weekend, she’s going to be mine in every way she knows and a few she doesn’t.
Except she’s hiding a secret. So am I.
She’s a virgin.
And I’m the bastard who is going to ruin her for any other man…unless she ruins me first.
AUTHOR’s NOTE: While Filthy Scrooge is a standalone short novel that can be read without reading any other story, you never know when characters from our other books may show up.

Linc hates Christmas. He does everything he can to avoid it. But that hot little number he danced with at a club, shows up as his party planner and he must have her. She needs a favor and Linc needs here. He devises a plan to help her and save the party and land her right where he wants her. What is there not to love about a conniving, swoon worthy scrooge. All girls want to “fix” him. I was so jealous of Kandy as she tries hard to avoid Linc. I wish this book was longer, I never wanted it to end. I loved everything about Kandy and Linc. His past just added depth to his character. Her secret kept things interesting. This is a must read.
Wen Ross gets me everytime he chuckles. One chuckle and that character has me swooning. Linc is everything a girl could want and Wen brings him to life. Kai nasrrates Kandy exactly as I imagined her. Through out all of her struggles and nervousness, Kai keeps Kandy real and easy to relate to. I love this narrating team and always look for their books.
If you are still on a holiday kick or looking for one for next year this is your book! The characters pull you in the minute you read the first page. I have always been pleased by Taryn Quinn’s books and this was no exception. I absolutely recommend checking it out!
This book was hot, sexy and fun all rolled into one! Kandy Kane gets her grinch and turns him into Santa slowly but surely with her love of Christmas and simple understanding of his needs. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott brought this story to life beautifully. I throughly enjoy his voice. Deep, rich and smooth. Like a fine piece of dark chocolate. Kai has a lovely voice that she is able to take from extra sweet to epically dirty pretty much with the flip of a switch it seems. They make a lovely pairing
Filthy Scrooge is a fun and quick holiday read. You’ll enjoy the hot and steamy love scenes. Taryn and Ms. Quinn are fantastic at the intense and passionate moments.

Filthy Scrooge
By: Taryn Quinn
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
This is an enjoyable and delightful spin on an old Christmas classic. Ok, no bah humbugs but there sure is a filthy Scrooge, filthy in a hot way. Up to a few years ago Lincoln Murdoch used to love Christmas, now he just wants to get away from it all and try to forget why it is not a season of joy for him. Kandy Kane, a party planner loses her Santa for her biggest party of the year, she goes to talk to the company’s boss Lincoln, who turns out to be the guy she dirty danced with the night before, then split on him. Explaining her dilemma, he agrees to be Santa for the company party as long as she agrees to spend the weekend with him. I love how everything plays out in this book, from the fun moments, to the heartfelt ones to the sexy ones. It was great when Linc started to open up and share with Kay why he hated Christmas. Also loved the time they shared in the cabin and the village. I highly recommend this book, it is fun and has a lot of heart, some great sexy times too. Thank you Taryn Quinn for wonderful story, love the book cover too.
I listened to the Audible edition, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are wonderful narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters and their story to life, giving them their voices and personality. Kai plays a convincing Scrooge, hardened and shut off, until he softens up. Kai’s portrayal of Kandy Kane was amazing, she sounded as pictured. Their duet performance is awesome and it enhances the story to another another level of greatness. Thank you for another entertaining listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work!

This was a very cute story, that had just the right amount of holiday puns, sexy Santas, and innocent elves. I really liked the storyline, the characters, and the writing.
Filthy Scrooge is a quick, steamy holiday read!
Linc hates Christmas and for good reason until a sassy elf enters his life. Kay shows him how to love Christmas and that it is also possible to open your heart and love again!
This is my new favorite Christmas story! So funny and awesomely sexy!
Wow I loved this book. It was so hot I couldn’t put it down. I want a Linc Santa with a bow please. Wow you need more books in this series, Wow. Keep up the good work I loved this Christmas story.
Great Christmas Sexy Story! This was a sweet, fun and sexy Christmas story. I like Taryn Quinn’s writing. She never disappoints. The story has the perfect balance between sweet, sexy and steamy. I’ll relisten to it. The narration was well done, as always with Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. Both have a great voice, well paced and easy to understand. I’m looking forward for more books from this team author and narrators. I was giving this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Filthy Scrooge is the perfect little holiday read. It’s sweet like candy canes and hot like only Taryn Quinn can do. Lincoln is the Scrooge in question. He’s a CEO who despises Christmas, but for a very good reason. Kandy Kane (it’s really her name!) is the event planner who planned his company’s Christmas party. At the last minute, her regular Santa and one of her elves elope and leave Kandy and co. stranded with no Santa. She and her assistant, Mel, try to find a last minute Santa but none are to be found. So Parker, Lincoln’s brother and CFO, reminds Lincoln that he has a custom fit Santa suit and that he should dress up and give out the gifts to their employees’ children. But, the only way he’ll agree is if Kandy agrees to spend 2 days at his remote cabin in Lake Placid with him. You see, they had met the night before at a club, and had been lost in each other on the dance floor until she panicked and left. So, to save the party (and her company, as the contract for this party will keep her company in the black), she agrees.
Kandy and Lincoln are smokin’ hot, but he runs hot and cold because of his past association with Christmas. Kandy is just sweet and sassy enough, though, to get him out of his doldrums, and they have a really nice two days filled with lots of wild sex, ridding her of her v-card and beyond, and sealing the emotional connection that started on the dance floor. When he messes up, though, and pushes her away, she heads back to the city and sinks into her own doldrums. Thank God he comes to his senses, though, (thanks to a couple of cute Grinch figurines), and gives her the sweetest, most holiday appropriate grand gesture.
No one does hot and sweet quite like Taryn Quinn, and Filthy Scrooge is no exception. If you want something to tide you over until Valentine’s, pick this one up!
Santa was a no-show, and not wanting any kids disappointed, Kay tries to find a last minute replacement. Linc hates Christmas now, but has a fancy Santa suit. But the only way he’ll fill in is if Kay spends they holiday with him at his cabin.
Blackmail (and essentially that’s how this all starts) makes for a very interesting beginning to Kay and Linc’s relationship. There are interesting twists once the cabin is reached. People leaving their current comfort zones. And a totally enjoyable holiday story.
Audio version addition – Kai Kennecot and Wen Ross are without a doubt my absolute favorite narrating duo. Both are a joy to listen to and really bring any story they read to life. And Filthy Scrooge is no different.
3.5 stars
It’s a nice holiday read. Great characters and a nice story line. Chemistry and passion between the two was good and a nice HEA epilogue. Nothing to deep but a good read.
Nice teaser for “Unwrapped” too.
