Hudson will be deported unless he marries a U S citizen. Mia is supposed to be off limits per company policy, but she is one of the few women who can tolerate him. Mia has something he needs, and he has something she wants. All he has to do is get her to say yes and get the feds to believe their fake love is real. Then he will have to convince his heart that it is not. – I loved this book except for use of f—- too much. Hudson was nothing like I thought he would be. He was a little overwhelming at work, but he was a good manager. I liked the way he talked to and treated Mia. She was smart, caring, and a hard worker. This is a wonderful romance.
arc review for honest review . when tragady hots harrison and caroline they find hope and love in each other. awsome and hot older man younger women.
That was an on fire cornucopia of dirty goodness. KB and Evie together are a writing dynamo. There stories are always enjoyable and I’ll keep reading as long as they keep writing. Hudson and Mia are perfect together but I also loved every character in the book.
An office romance, well not really because the boss just needed a wife to stay in the country. Mia was probably the only person in the company that liked him, could she go through with a wedding?
This was a fun story and just when I thought it was smooth sailing it all fell apart. Could these two make it work?
Amusing and sexy plot and great characters.
Filthy Rich Bastard is sexy and sweet with a great cast of characters.
Hudson is one of the co-founders of BC Records, a prestigious record label in Portland. He’s known as a cold bastard and Mia’s always regarded him with some sort of fascination mixed with dread. He’s not warm, he’s not friendly, but he is “blistering hot.” She’s had too many dirty dreams about him lately but she knows better than to ever actually get involved with him. He’s got heartbreak written all over him and she loves her job too much to get involved with “Hottie McAsshole.” But one day she walks into his office and he introduces her as the Future Mrs. Blake. Yeah…
Now that Hudson’s dead set on getting Mia to fake marry him so he can stay in the country, what’s a girl to do? Say yes and let him pay her a million dollars or give her Maxwell’s job when he retires? Or say no and watch the man get deported back to Santo Via Island? Either way Mia figures she’s screwed.
I like seeing Mia and Hudson discover each other and find that they’re not exactly who they had thought the other was. Hudson wasn’t really the cold bastard he appeared at first glance. When he opened up and showed some vulnerability, I could see how Mia fell for him. On the other hand, Mia is an amazing person, much stronger and tougher than Hudson had ever thought she was. And of course, their chemistry is KB Winters’ signature sexy style. But, I think my favorite part of Filthy Rich Bastard was the epilogue. It is so sweet and brought a few tears to my eyes (happy ones!) and it was good to see a peek into their future.
I can’t wait for more from this duo because Filthy Rich Bastard is a gem!
KB Winters is a great writer she never disappoints me with her stories. She really knows how to draw the attention of the reader and pulls you into the book.
Mia is a hard working employee of BC Records but has a real a–hole for a boss, Hudson who is a co-owner of BC Records. Hudson finds out that he is about to be deported because he doesn’t have a green card. So when Mia interrupts a meeting not knowing that it was with immigration agents she is surprised when Hudson introduces her as his fiancee. Not knowing what to do she decides to play along. Does she continue to go along with Hudson’s plan or does she tell him where to go? Can they love each other? Is it true love or just for a green card?
I received this book as an ARC copy for a voluntarily honest review.
Omg….another great book by KB Winters. I have to admit, the cover drew me in but the book was fantastic. The collaboration from these two ladies worked great together to bring Hudson and Mia together. I fell in love with both these characters pretty early on. I didn’t want the story to end.
