The plot was well written and well planned and the characters were so well developed that I was hooked from the very beginning! The chemistry between Emma and Jax was off the charts HOT which kept me totally engaged until the very last page was turned!
This is about Jax (Rockstar)/Jeremy (High school crush) and Emma. Jax/Jeremy is the same person. While Jax is the Rockstar that decides to try to go solo, after wild nights and his publicist stating that something needs to change, he goes back home. Emma is a music teach in their hometown. She has always had a crush on Jax and would help him out whenever he needed it. She never told him anything as she was shy, but something awakens her too when she first sees him. Now Jax’s publicist states that he needs to get her to agree to marry him in a fake marriage for the public to see that he has matured and become a soloist will be a good thing. Emma is willing to help even though she knows this is only temporary, but is she able to sustain the pressure of a rock star’s life? Could they make they really hold a fake marriage without turning into something more real than what either of them intended? Could they both hold back their true feelings? This was a sweet romantic story in where time is what truly brings happiness to those that deserve to be together.

A fun and lovely story. A lot of fun, hearing their banter.
It’s often said that it’s better to complement each other than being almost the same. That is really true regarding Emma and Jeremy.

4 1/2 stars
Amazing!! Everything I didn’t even know I needed or wanted in a romance book. Hot, spicy, sexy, and addictive!! Happy reading!!
I loved this story of Emma and Jax, it was sweet and complicated, but the chemestry between the two caracters was wonderfull. I Iaught a lot during this story as Emma and Jax have a wonderfull sence of humor. There are som obsticals and things that happen and Emma is a little too carefull in how she handles her fealings, but I really enjoyed this book.

Jax is a Rock Star who has come back to his home town to try and recreate his image to something good for his solo album. Jax saw Emma at the high school while he was showing his crew the town. There were pictures taken and his publicist saw them and liked what she saw and come up with a plan to repair his reputation. The plan was a fake marriage between them. Jax did not like this plan but said he would talk to Emma about it. Emma thought about it after they talked and said yes. Emma holds back her feelings for Jax because she knows that it will end and she don’t want to get hurt, but the more time she spends with him the more she falls for him. Jax knows that he wants Emma and only her but he has to go slow. Emma deceides to tell Jax how she feels and to see if he feels the same way. He does and tells her that he loves her, they go back to their room and when they get there a woman from Jax’s past is waiting for him. Emma get hurts by this and tells Jax she can’t do this anymore that he needs someone who can be there for him and not let his past get in the way. She leaves and goes back home.
Emma is trying to get her life back on track after her breakup with Jax, but can she forget him.
Jax is not the same without Emma and he knows that she loves him and him her. Can he ever explain what happened that night enough to get her back or will she be the one who got away?

I really enjoyed this rockstar romance, the storyline is fast-paced and well-written. The characters are incredibly likable. Wonderful read that pulled me in from the beginning.
I loved this one. It’s a sort of second chance one, but not quite, and it gripped me from the start. Jax and Emma are great characters, completely opposite but completely complementary too. Their story isn’t simple or straightforward, and they had me rooting for a HEA for them. Fantastic read.
I knew by the second chapter that I was going to love this story. Emma was an absolute delight from the beginning and I fell for Jax/Jeremy when he was walking around his hometown and describing it for his publicist, photographer, and et all. You could just tell that the town really meant something to him. I also liked the alternate POV that the author incorporated. This is one of my favorite ways to read a book since it gives the reader a chance to understand what both MCs are feeling.
The only thing I dislike about this book is the title. It is very misleading and does not reflect what a wonderful book this is.

Rock ‘n Roll Bad Boy needs an image overhaul………….fake marriage may just do it
Filthy Mistake is a rock star romance between Jeremy (aka Jax) and Emma. The knew each other when they were in high school and then Jeremy left town to see fame and fortune as a rock star. He changed himself into Jax and definitely got the sex, drugs and Rock n’ Roll lifestyle. But know he needs to clean up his bad boy party reputation in order to gain credibility with his aging fans, who have all grown up too, and the music industry. So what is a bad boy to do………….get himself a wife and maybe family of course, or at least the appearance of one. That is what his agent things anyways.
Emma has stayed in their hometown where she teaches music, has a dead end relationship and seems ready to made a change of some sort.
Jeremy and Emma cross paths again and he thinks she might just be the woman to play out this plan with. She agrees and the next thing you know they are in a “fake” marriage. But is it really fake or is it starting to get a bit too real? Has Jax changed his bad boy ways, as he keeps telling Emma he has? Can Emma believe anything that Jax says or is it Jeremy that is talking?
This story was nice but it did not knock my socks off. The character of Emma was more than a bit annoying at times, so much so that I really wanted to turn her upside down and shake her. It also seemed to me that Jeremy/Jax was a quick change from the full bad boy to super sweet and ready to for it all with Emma. But it was an enjoyable story to read as long as I remembered to just kept it light and breezy when I was reading.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Simple, but moving.
Very beautiful romance, very well written, tender but at the same time strong by the will of the heroine not to fall in love with her husband, and her husband will, to respect this desire while denying his need for proximity, tenderness towards her.
Jax is a famous rocker who begins a solo career and returns to his hometown for a documentary and future promotion of his album. His reputation is rather bad and his PR, advises him to settle to be in connection with his public and less sex drug and rock n’roll.
He comes across Emma, a music teacher now in high school, who is a little bored and who had a crush on him and helped him write a song. Photographing during their meeting, the media associate them and a media plan is proposed to Jax by his team: he marries Emma for some time and in exchange, she travels with him and has a more adventurous life. After some hesitation, Emma agrees, but quickly understands that to keep her heart unscathed, she must protect herself, and the requests she asks to Jax, takes a lot on him, but he needs to agree so that Emma can trust him, despite his life .
