Bella Hamilton is on a mission. Her best friend, Ava, is about to marry, and her surprise nuptials have thrown Bella’s long-scheduled BFF plans for marriage and babies out of whack.
Never fear, Bella has a plan. She always has a plan. An interview with a young, hot billionaire is the golden opportunity she needs. And since she has no experience with men, she plans to use everything she’s learned … learned from years of reading romance novels to lure him into her web.
What on earth could go wrong?
Jude McCormick is nothing like his older brother. He doesn’t believe in marriage. He doesn’t yearn for a family. He goes from woman to woman and the only thing he longs for is escaping the yoke of his family’s legacy.
But then he meets Bella. He’s instantly attracted, but she dismisses him. He tries to flirt, but she reacts with disgust. She drives him crazy with lust, but she won’t give him the time of day.
At the end of his rope, he’s forced to take a harder look and the more he learns about this strange girl, the faster he falls in love.
Dirty, filthy love.

I laughed out loud so many times reading this lovely story that my family thought I was nuts. The writing was imaginative. The delivery spot on. I could recognize the awkwardness of her actions and found his reactions believable and humorous. A truly delightful and entertaining story.
I had so much fun reading this book! It is well written, full of sass, drama, steam, humour, witty banter, and intrigue. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

Filthy Love is the second book in the Filthy Duet by Matilda Martel and tells the story of Bella Hamilton, who has been thrown for a tizzy when her BFF plans a surprise wedding, and Jude McCormick, the younger brother of the groom to be. Jude is instantly in love with Bella when he meets her and starts his pursuit to have her. However, innocent Bella is planning her romance with him by using the romance novels she has read. I highly recommend this quick read novella with its wonderful characters and a plot with humor, frustration, sizzle, and a happy every after.

A romance straight out of the pages of the lastest romance novel!
by sewsummore
This book reads like a romance novel, that is because it is based on one. The female characters plan their romances straight out of the pages of the latest romance novel that they have read and enjoyed. I found this a short book with a quirky theme. Jude was a confirmed bachelor who never believed in love until he meets a young woman who plans to make him change his mind about romance, love, and marriage. When he leaves Bella alone after a night of pleasure in her arms, she refuses to talk to him and he is devastated and doesn’t know what to do. Her best friend tells him to”Romance her and take a read of the latest romance best seller!” I am not a fan of instant love and Bella’s premeditated plans lead me to believe that this is wrong but, it all worked out well in the end.

He steals her Thursday panties but promises to steal every day of the week!
Filthy Love is the second book in the A Filthy Duet and is the story of Bella and Jude, both which the reader met in Filthy Rich.
Bella Hamilton is Ava Jameson’s best friend since forever. When Ava transferred from Boston University and moved to NYC to be near her father, the CFO of McCormick Media, Bella moved also. Bella actually got the apartment across the hall from Ava’s. Bella had come up with a five year plan for both her and Ava (school, writing career, marriage and children) so that they would be doing it at the same time. But Ava went off plan when she fell in love with Declan McCormick and got engaged almost overnight. But when he messed up with Ava it was Bella that had helped him win her back. So he now owes her and she has cashed that chip in…………he is giving her an internship at McCormick Media in the marketing department. Plus he gave her all the info she needed about his younger brother Jude.
Jude McCormick is Declan’s younger brother and a playboy, ne’er-do-well who is the Chief Marketing Manager and half owner of McCormick Media. He doesn’t like to work and has an attitude that of he just doesn’t care. This is the result of his parents only paying attention to older brother Declan and no one having any expectations of him.
Based on a romance novel, as Bella loves them, she has devised a rough plan to put Jude off his “pretty face and smoking hot body” bad boy ways so that he will pursue her and she can get him to the alter, thus getting her 5 year plan with Ava back on track, if faster than anticipated. Bella may be nineteen but she is a crafty one and when Jude interviews her for the internship he is not sure what to do as she seems to be immune to all of his charms, no matter what he tries or says. It is driving him to distraction, which is funny as he is not really focused anyway. As Bella continues to try and follow the romance novel plot she and Jude do get closer and things get funny. But life is not a romance novel and things take a turn, for the good and for the bad. But when he discovers from Declan that he loves romance novels it seems he is about to play Bella at her own game.
Also along for their funny ride is Ava’s older sister, Emeline (Emi) who at twenty-one is a prim and proper lady. She was a novice nun who left just before taking her vows. Their parents are so relieved that they have sent her to NYC to experience life, taking over Ava’s apartment thus moving her across the hall from Bella.
Also along with their funny ride is Uncle Killian. He is forty years old and had been a parish priest in Chicago for years before being sent to Rome. But four years ago he turned in his collar, traveled for a few years visiting family and friends before being convinced by Declan and Jude to come back home.
This is a fantastic story that had me laughing out loud at all the antics of Bella and Jude. It was really funny to read about her trying to live out a romance novel and using lines from them. Poor Jude just had not idea what to do but fall in love with the little temptress. Bella and Jude are two characters that are meant for each other and fit together perfectly, once they got out of their own way. But the funniest part is near the end and the epilogue……….more romance novels are being lived to the fullest possible effect!!!
Another good one from this author. This was the 7th book I read from Matilda Martel. She writes about love and attraction – not necessarily in that order- and satisfies most romance novel lover’s need for a Happy Ending. Bella and Jude’s story had, at least for me a surprising beginning, since Bella, being a young, inexperienced girl is attempting to conduct her romantic aspirations by copying characters from romance books. At first, it feels completely wrong, manipulative, putting her firmly in the negative characters category, until a little later it turns out that her behaviour is due to her total lack of finesse or a well-seasoned personality. Their attraction is mutual, Lucas can’t get over the fact that Bella is so ambivalent towards him and she is desperately trying to play it cool to ensure his continued interest. The book in some respects reads like a richly-coloured fable, with Bella’s best friend marrying Jude’s brother and her ex-almost-nun sister falling in love with Jude’s ex-priest uncle, resulting in one big happy family. On the other hand, the description of their steamy sexual connection with incredibly foul language felt alien from a virgin, though it appears to have come from ‘’role-playing’’. Nevertheless, the fear of rejection and personal deep-rooted insecurities, the anxiety of leaving one’s emotional comfort zone and take a chance was very well described in the novel. A well-edited piece of work that I’m happy to recommend.

A fantastic rom-com novella with delicious steam! These two are like oil and water. Add the right ingredients and you have a delectable dish! Bella has taken some tricks from her favorite movies and romance novels and put them to work against Jude. Just wait until the tables turn! *swoon* I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This. Was. So. Good!
Bella’s got it in her head that Jude’s gonna fall in love with her just like his fictional counterparts fall for the leading ladies in those romance books she loves. He’s the same type of guy–arrogant, a playboy, and all-around surly bastard. She’s the total opposite, the perfect woman to make him want something other than a one-night-stand with a beautiful woman.
So she becomes an intern in his company and sets her plan in motion to capture the man of her dreams. To her chagrin, it doesn’t seem to be working though. Why?
Unbeknownst to her, it is. She drives Jude crazy by just existing in his hemisphere. She consumes his thoughts. She haunts his dreams. Why does he find her so bewitching? What is it about her that makes her different from other women?
It was a romance story inside of a romance story. It was fun, witty, and amusing. Jude’s fall from his lofty I’ll-Never-Marry throne was incredibly satisfying to watch, almost as much as it was to see how much he changed into a better man. Well-developed characters, fast pace, unrequited love finally returned, all make for a terrific story.

Awh this story is wonderful & I couldn’t put it down. I loved how Bella had made a plan with the best friend Ava’s Fiancé Declan to get his brother Jude to like her. Dclan arranged an interview for Bella & told Jude that he would be doing the interview & not to scare her off that last bit peed him off but when Bella turned up he was attracted to her straight away but she insisted on playing hard to get until she eventually ground him down. However, after he stayed the night at hers not having sex because it would be her 1st time in the morning he just got up & went which hurt her as she had fallen in love with him. Jude felt guilty how he left as he loved her aswell but wasn’t sure to tell her yet so when she didn’t answer any of his calls or texts he thought he had lost her & he was going to tell her at his brother Ava & Declan’s engagement party & hope she’d listen. I also loved how Bella’s big sister Emi who until recently was going to be a nun fell in love at first sight with Jude & Declan’s Uncle Killian who used to he a priest. Ive loved reading this book it was sweet but at on accasion a bit hot.

I loved this story. There were a lot of feels in it. The story was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and relatable. Ava was a great friend and Emi was an awesome sister.

I laughed so much while reading this story. There were so many things that I loved about it. Jude second-guessing himself and his attractiveness was a crack up. Bella was so sure that her plan would work even though she didn’t have a full plan. Their relationship develops very quickly, but it’s awesome. I loved their happy ever after, it had me laughing and deciding that I want to keep Jude! I recommend reading this book.

I really enjoyed this book. Jude and Bella are interesting, well-developed characters with chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written, with a happily ever after. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.
This is a quick read about Jude, the alpha bad boy you love to hate, and Bella, the pushy, romance novel addicted curvy girl. This is the second book of a duet, the first of which starred her best friend, Ava, and his older brother, Declan. That book introduced us to Bella and Jude – if you have not read it, you should, it is just as good as this one. I love that Ms. Martel writes books about sassy, secure, curvy girls and the hot, older men who fall for them. I am always looking out for a new book by Ms. Martel.

Oh me, oh my! Definitely one of my favorites! Jude and Bella are amazing! Bella is silly and fun and innocent and sweet and determined. Jude is a womanizer, never realizing that one woman will make all the difference. Bella is young, but know what … and who … she wants. Jude doesn’t stand a chance! This story is instalove, age gap, full of family and friend connections, quirky, and such fun to read. I’m loving everything Matilda Martel writes!

This is Bella and Jude’s story. Bella is a hoot as she goes about capturing billionaire playboy Jude. Her plan leads him on a merry chase. The harder he tries the more she pulls away. These two are so good together and the chemistry between them sizzles. I would love to read more. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
