REVIEW: 4.5 STARS
“I love him so blindly that I would take him even in misery.”
First and foremost: This is NOT a triangle. At all.
It appears there needs to be some clarification, because I keep hearing people say this is a triangle and I figured I could quell the fears. This is NOT, I repeat NOT a triangle. Is there competition? Sure…. but the blurb says it all and she’s only picking one. But the journey of these characters and the way their relationship grows and spirals out of control – that is what the story is about. That is what made this an emotional read for me. One I will not soon forget. One I *will* have signed on my shelf.
The opening of this book was so honest and so innocent – it honestly started out in the most perfect of ways. It totally solidified the storyline for me, especially looking back on it. It immediately drew me in because I love honest love, and this provided an unaffected look at the world through innocent eyes. But knowing how it started and looking back, it was the backbone of the story – one I will remember for a while. Oh gosh…..Grey, Donovan, and Liam. I love them. I love them ALL.
“Of all the pieces she’s giving me, it’s always been her heart I wanted most.”
I know I am always ranting about unnecessary or forced drama and how I hate it in books. Did I worry about the ‘reasons’ or the ‘drama’ that was in this book…..this time, I can definitively say no. It was teenagers testing waters. It was hearts defying minds and logic. It had drama, but it was age appropriate stupid-but-real drama. But the writing, the story in itself, had me seeking more as I turned the pages, and that’s what I love about her writing. I think Pucci’s voice is so raw and unrefined, but thats what I love about it. She’s so talented. She’s grown since I first started reading her and not only is her voice getting stronger, her stories are more encompassing.
She wrote this with a scintillating rumble that I could just feel and hear of two men that are deeply affected by their woman. Yes, their woman. But in what way? Hmmm? Right…it is definitely the part that intrigued me the most when I first read that synopsis. She gave so much character to her characters. Their depth was there for discovery, and their journey was mottled in many ways. So many variables. Family is friends is lovers is life.
I think you should really check out this EXCERPT on my blog: http://bit.ly/3cQuJKo
NA is a unique genre for me to entertain. It needs to have something that keeps me turning the pages without saying “I’ve read this already.” I want something that pulls me in but doesn’t have me rolling my eyes. It’s such a tricky genre for me but this book feels like it was written just for ME to enjoy. I loved this one SO much. It was everything I needed and wanted out of an NA, and it just strengthened my love of Trilina Pucci’s writing style and voice. I know her from a much different storyline, so to hear her from this voice, this aspect – it was a neat departure.
The opportunities for more are HERE!!!! I need MORE of this world and these kids. Need > Want. Make it happen, Trilina!!

„Even a villain is someone else’s hero.”
With filthy rich adolescent characters, ever-present drama and startling plot-twists, this book gave me major Gossip Girl vibes. Trilina Pucci rocked the New Adult world, which has its own laws and rules and is as unpredictable as its young protagonists. Filthy Little Pretties is riveting and consuming, it makes you completely addicted to this story and these characters. You enter the world of beauty, wealth and splendor, only to discover the flipside of this life. Cherry on top? Deliciously steamy and angsty romance that keeps at the edge of the seat and makes you crave the attention the heroine gets!
I loved all three of leading characters, each of them for something different. Donovan for her loyalty and sass. Grey for his possessiveness and intensity. Liam for his laid-back nature and kindness. They complemented each other beautifully and formed a perfect trio. The friendship they shared was simply amazing. But what happens when stronger feelings will get through their perfect bubble? You’ll get an angst-fest of epic proportions! Secrets, lies and deceit are just the tip of the iceberg that these three have to face. Combined with sexual tension and the heat that could turn on even a nun, you’re set for an incredible journey.
Crack open the Moët and put on your Louboutins, because with Filthy Little Pretties Trilina Pucci pulls you into the world of glam and pleasure, where deception is a regular occurrence. This book will push your morality to the limit and test your emotions. This angsty and unputdownable story is completely captivating and exciting!
What a fantastic book from Trilina she has just out done herself in this story of 3 best friends Donovan (Van), Grey, Liam who have always promised 1st, last and only to each other are having to say goodbye to Van and to know what those 3 word’s mean you’ll just have to one click this lil jewel no spoilers here.
This is a must read on my list of 2021 book’s it was just so good I didn’t want it to end.
I loved this story! Donovan, Grey and Liam were best friends and then Donovan was moved away. Five years later she’s back and it’s almost like she never left. Except feelings are that much stronger and problems ensue. I loved the characters and the story line. Donovan is someone I would have wanted to be besties with in high school. Great read for sure!
Trilina Pucci has set a new standard for me when it comes to New Adult books.
Filthy Little Pretties was my first book by Trilina, and it will most definitely not be my last. Hillcrest Prep, Book 1 had it all: Friendship, love, heartbreak.
The (childhood) friendship between Donovan, Grey, and Liam. The emotional rollercoaster the three experience when Donovan comes back after five years.
This book kept me wanting to turn the pages faster and faster and at the same time not at all because I didn’t want it to end.
This book was… EVERYTHING I needed right now. No better way to put it. I fell in love with this trio on chapter 1. Fastest I’ve ever loved characters and, while we’re talking about rich kids here, they were easy to relate to. Van didn’t have the best parents or family dynamic, but boy, did she have the most amazing boys in her life (at 12 and again many years later) The tension was off the charts, the connection between Van and Grey was incredible and the steamy scenes… Holy flipping shiiit. I NEED Liam and Caroline’s book now, and I will always remember “Cherry’s” story.
Filthy Little Pretties was epic, addicting, and all-consuming!
My emotions were all over the place. It is filled with drama, angst, heartbreak, sexy & steamy scenes, and plot twists I didn’t see coming. Trilina Pucci shows a world of wealth and beauty but she also shows us it has a flip side. Secrets, lies, and deceit threaten friendships and relationships. This was so well-written. This had me hanging onto every word & I couldn’t get enough and I had a serious book hangover. This was such a gripping love story with fantastic characters. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next! This was my first book by Trilina Pucci but it most definitely won’t be my last!
Filthy Little Pretties by Trilina Pucci
This was my first book by the author and it was a great introduction to seeing how she tells a story and develops the character.
On a whim I decided to read the book after seeing it on facebook mainly for the cover, the blurb I was hesitant about. I am not a big fan of love triangles and cheating in books I try to avoid them. This was not one of those book from the beginning the love between Grey and Donavan was obvious, it was the true love kind. I loved this book, it made me blush, laugh, and cry!
The tension between Grey and Donavan was off the chart, I loved how the chemistry flowed from childhood crush to new adult love. Grey and Liam were such different character it was easy to fall in love with both of them and feel when one lost and the other one the heroine. I liked how the author wrote the dynamic between the three (Donavan, Grey, and Liam).
The author did a good job of introducing and making the secondary characters apart of the book. I can’t wait to see their stories come to life in the next book hopefully.

Filthy Little Pretties is one helluva of a read. It had me invested from cover to cover. The push and pull between the characters is addictive and angsty. With chemistry that is electrifying in a way that you feel it in your bones.
This is an outstanding NA filled with so much sexual tension that you are constantly on the edge of your seat as to how Grey, Donnovan and Liam will navigate their friendship, attraction and loyalty to each other. FLP is fraught with all the angst and all the feels. It’s an epic romance that will pull on your heartstrings, twist your gut and seduce you with gorgeous swoony moments.
This story is first love on steroids. Epic. Addictive. Everything I needed and wanted, and more. The writing is rich and decadent just like the world it’s set in. Detailed and sublimely witty and humorous at times, this is Trilina Pucci’s best to date.
5 “First, Last, & Only” Stars
Okay, first off- WHO KNEW ROWING WAS SO DANG HOT?!?! I know I didn’t. Let me tell you Trilina Pucci has truly opened my eyes but there’s this one scene…wooooo buddy! I need more books on this sport. If you have any, send them my way.
Now as for the story- I LOVED everything about this. From beginning to end this delivered everything I crave in New Adult romances. Swoony moments,1 Possessive Alphahole, witty banter, heaps of angst, explosive emotions and a delicious slow burn. This is a love triangle between 3 childhood best friends that gets dirty and downright vicious.
Grey, Donovan, and Liam are reunited in their senior year of high school and they pick up right where they left off before Donovan had to move away when they were 12. Only things are a bit different, the boys are now men and Donovan isn’t the innocent little girl she once was.
I’m not gonna lie, this is one love triangle I would’ve loved to turn into a MFM romance. The three of them have such insane chemistry and love between them. I’m happy with the way things turned out though! One of my favorite things about this was the strong friendship and loyalty between Grey and Liam. Even with the wrench that Donovan threw into their friendship, they were brothers and supported each other fully. I loved their relationship.
Not to give anything away, but the way Donovan was handling things pissed me off more than once. I was happy when a certain someone called her out on it and didn’t make it easy for her. He(not saying which) wasn’t willing to let her have her cake and eat it too and I respect that.
I’m really hoping we get more books within this world because I loved the supporting characters. The left over part of the triangle, Kai, and even Caroline! I’ll say it again-I love a flawed heroine and Caroline is downright villainous in this story. I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I didn’t hate her. I didn’t LOVE her but I’m definitely intrigued by her character and want to know more. I felt for her, she’s definitely struggling with her own demons and I’d love to get inside her head.
Long story short-I LOVED IT. I NEED MORE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Oh- and don’t miss out on the sexy little short story that Trilina sends out if you sign up for her newsletter.
This book is AWESOME! My heart could barely take it. I had it sitting on my kindle after someone recommended it and now I wish I had read it sooner! The sexual tension is strong enough to burn down the tree Grey did! All the angst too! I didn’t want it to end it was so enticing!
Blurring the lines between love, friendship, hate, lust and lies. This HS eats the weak and they’ll all have to make decisions, some that hurt your heart. Friendships and romance aren’t easy, especially when there’s multiple hearts involved
Trilina gives us her best with Filthy Little Pretties her first NA romance & it SLAYS
A group of high school kids known from their elite families have everything they could want and more. Except love. None of them have easily received it so it’s only fair that they don’t easily give it.
Except in Donavan’s case. The trio can’t help but
Love each other. Grey is the brooding one, Liam the charmer and Donavan is the woman who keeps them all together.
But after a 5 year separation, Donavan’s return has the boys stunned. The love is still there but it’s not as platonic. The boys she had to leave behind are all grown up and they both call to her even though she can’t admit it.
I couldn’t imagine being in Donovan’s position and trying to do what’s right especially with the intense game of tug of rope. No matter her choice all the characters came Out winners in the end. It wasn’t an easy ride and I was definitely questioning some of the character’s and their morals.
But as they say, all is fair in love in & war
After all the anticipation I was all in for this book & ready for all dirty details. Each character had their own story and I couldn’t get enough. Needles to say I adored it.

This is my first book by Trilina Pucci and to say I loved it would be a significant understatement. Everything in this book was perfect from the characters to the heat that flowed easily to the emotional moments and finally to an ending that put all my pieces back together. I loved it all with a passion.
I fell in love with Grey before ever making it halfway through the book. Donovan, the girl in the middle, was someone I felt a keen familiarity. Her mistakes during the five years she was away mirrored a few of my own. She had to be my favorite because only she could be at the absolute top of her game as a mean girl without being mean. That was perfection. And of course, there is Liam who was the perfect brother and friend. He was the good guy who made up the other part of this trio.
Grey and Liam both loved her from the age of ten after only really having each other from a very young age. For two years it was just the three of them until Donovan’s parents divorce and her mother takes her out of the country for five years. For their senior year of high school, she is sent back to the states to live with her father.
It seems like no time went by when they are reunited. Only now they have a ton of sexual heat between them. Being Grey and Liam’s only source of focus sexually is a definite powder keg. I don’t know how anyone could stand with them and not completely melt.
“Like the strings of a mandolin, she was played until her cries and pleas fell into the music her body created.”
Lady Chatterley’s Lover
I thought I melted a few times! There were moments I wanted to scream at each one all for different reasons. But this author showed her talent at bringing tears, anger and sadness to a perfect ending that I honestly don’t believe could have been done any better.
I desperately want more from all of these characters. I know this author could pull it off. This book in itself was good enough to bring me back again and again. I will definitely be diving into her other books next.
This book bleeds emotions. Every page had me needing more, feeling what every charcater felt. Fantastic read!!! One of my top 2020 reads so far!
DNF; Liam Brooks, Donavan Kennedy and Grey McCallister were three best friends as kids. They wanted to stay together but Donavan “Van” was taken away from them when her parents divorced and she had to move. Now five years later these spoiled rich teens reek havoc compared to the innocence they once were. When Van moves back to live with her father will her two best friends still be there for her? She’s not the 12 yr old girl they saw last. This reminded me of a certain spoiled, rich, prep school movie that was all so “cruel.” A teen, NA angsty, rich kid clique, slow burn, friends to lovers romance with LOTS of drama. If that’s what you like then this book is for you. I’m sad to say this slow burn was not what I thought it was going to be when I started this book. Told in dual POV
We meet Grey, Liam and Donovan who are best friends. Donovan’s parents are getting divorced and she has to move. She gives the boys each one of her bracelets to remember her by.
Five years pass and Donovan is back in the states and is going to the same school as Liam and Grey. The friends are back together.
I absolutely loved this book. I devoured every single, sexy word. I need more of Donovan, Grey and Liam. This was by far my favorite book of 2020

Trilina Pucci has delivered a story that will floor you! I loved that it emitted a Gossip Girl-esque feel crossed with Cruel Intentions!
I was anxious to read this story when I learned the characters names and it was just a thought in Trilina’s mind. When chatting with the author last summer, I had called it that #GreyIsMine and she agreed that he is mine (***I totally took a screenshot of that conversation***).
The relationship between Donavan, Grey and Liam is something that survived years apart, even through adolescence. Once reconnected, the trio just continued on as nothing had changed. I loved the dynamics between them.
These three words … First. Last. Only. … best fit and represent Donovan and her love. I’m not going to spoil it and state who, but it’s all about the journey anyway; just enjoy it. Filthy Little Pretties by Trilina Pucci is an EPICALLY addicting read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
4.5 stars
This was my first book by this author and it definitely won’t be my last. The characters were very well developed and it was full of angst. I was intrigued just by reading the blurb and had a feeling thos was going to be a great one…..and I was right.
What an evocative debut NA book Ms Pucci has written. Addictive and unique storyline with diverse characters, that you couldn’t help but empathise with. It included a love triangle, friends to lovers, it was angsty, humorous, tragic and heartbreaking. Highly recommend you grab a copy and start reading.
Their world was torn apart when they were twelve, a divorce took Donovan to another continent. These trust fund babies had anything money could buy, but the love of a family. So they chose each other, knowing they’d never let each other down and nothing would come between them. Five years later Donovan is packed up and returned to her fathers home. She’s not happy with who she has become and is hell bent on changing her life.
Grey has been tasked with showing the new student around. She stars in all of his dreams and he can’t believe she is standing in front of him. As if time stood still Donovan, Liam and Grey’s friendship picks up without missing a beat. Not everyone is pleased to see Donovan return though, the one person she didn’t want them to turn to has become her replacement. Grey has grown into a fine specimen, but he’s possessive, rude and broody.
Liam has also blossomed, but is light, funny and patient, unlike Grey. The three amigos share a friendship based on love and now that they are older they are ready to push for more. Emotions run high as it becomes clear that a decision needs to be made. Will Donovan choose Grey or Liam, perhaps she’ll choose friendship? One things for sure these characters are volatile as jealousy rears it’s ugly head.
This was a very interesting story, full of angst, steamy romance. Van, Grey and Liam grew up together, life happened and it’s not five years later. This was a refreshing story to read, I got dragged in and didn’t let me go until the end, I absolutely recommend it to give it a go. All the emotions by every character are very palpable, you will get involved in those turmoils. The dynamic between them is fantastic and definitely would love if this was done into an audiobook someday to feel it all over again.
