Terrified, but determined to get back to her sister, Addy’s plans are ruined when … when she falls for a bastard with a chip on his shoulder.
He’s a bastard without a heart.
Sergeant at Arms Brew Decker plays by his own rules. To him, nothing is sacred but the brotherhood. He lives and dies by the club and would do anything for them—even kidnap an innocent woman. After all, she’s merely a pawn in the bigger game. But everything changes when he meets Addy. Suddenly, he’d do anything for his captive.

Addy is supposed to be a happy go lucky rich girl. She is supposed to be living the life at college. Addy is supposed to be finding a guy, falling in love, and living happily ever after.
Brew is living the life of a Grim Bastard. As the Sergeant at Arms, he has responsibilities to the MC. He only has the MC.
Both Addy and Brew live their lives as the shadows of their former selves. When Brew helps kidnap Addy, both of their lives change in a way they never saw coming.
You can ask yourself these questions now, but when you read the book the answers all click into place.
How can she find her kidnapper attractive? Does she really feel safe? What is this nonsense about being safe at a motorcycle club?
Soon you will fall under the same spell that Addy has. You will realize the power and safety a man like Brew exudes. Better still you will wish that you had your own rugged, handsome, and heart warming Grim Bastard.
I was really looking forward to the follow up of Dirty Bastard. I was not disappointed at all by Filthy Bastard and can’t wait for the next one. I love partying with the Grim Bastards!
I think I liked this story better than Trix and Boz’s. Again I can’t get over the kidnapping turned into love thing but there is so much more to this story. Sometimes you can’t see what is right in front of you. The bond between best friends is strong in this book, as well as a sister’s bond. The emotions in this book were strong. This book had a few triggers (not for me but could be for some) I honestly don’t know if there was a warning in the beginning of the book or not.
Brew & Addy.
These two couldn’t be more different.
She’s never really lived and he may have lived just a little more than most.
She comes from a rich family but that doesn’t mean happy.
Her mother is flat out psycho and her father’s a wuss who lets mommy drag him around by his balls.
Then comes the brother in law from hell.
The things he puts Addy through and her parents allow are enough to make you either violently ill or want to commit murder, I personally thought of a few ways to take him out myself, ways that he would suffer.
Brew crosses paths with Addy by accident but once he does he realizes theres something about her he doesn’t want to let go of.
That could be tough based on her reluctance to commit and need to push him away.
Once he finds out her secrets will he still want the broken and as she sees herself tainted, girl that he’s fallen for or will it all just be too much?
If abuse or non consensual sex are triggers for you this may be one you need pass on but if your looking for a story full of suspense, action, with sexy bikers, a man who wants to save his woman, a woman who needs a strong man and revenge than look no further!

So being in a book funk really sucks I find a book it gets me out of the funk then the next one gets me right back to where I started this story however grabbed me from that place and brought me back to life. I had so much fun reading this story. It’s more lighter then Filthy was but I so enjoyed it more and more with every word I read. It’s hard to say which one I enjoyed most I think it’s about a tie. Loved everything about this story. It’s been way different then the first one, more of a attention grabber. The authors have done an amazing job making sure the stories don’t repeat themselves but have the same story happen in some of it. Emily and Shelley really know what the hell they are doing when it comes to writing a great story. Addy and Brew make up this amazing and strong couple that can and will face anything that life had thrown at them/or yet to come. This is a MUST READ 2 person POV story. It can’t get anything better then being inside Addy and Brews head they make everything fun. Cover to cover greatness on every page you don’t want to miss out so worth every word and period.
