Tiffany
Starting over isn’t easy. Years of learning new towns, new people, and new jobs have left Tiffany tired, lonely, and ready to give up. Until a hot, sexy, bad-boy biker barreled into her life and she fell…hard. Latching onto the over-protective biker seemed like a good way to escape her daunting past, but life is never that simple.
Club life isn’t what Tiffany imagined it to be, and she soon realizes that her hot new man has a long and wild history that may be more than she bargained for. Between the women and rumors of violence, she finds herself caught between a psychotic ex bent on her destruction and the man who isn’t what she thought him to be. When things quickly begin to unravel, Tiffany doesn’t know who to trust or where to turn.

This is the continuation of Tiffany and Ryder’s story and Tiffany is learning the ways of the MC life. She sees the men, the old ladies, and the women hanging around. She wonders if she is cut out for this life but then she thinks about Ryder and the love she feels for him and knows this is where she belongs.
Ryder has known nothing but the MC life, growing up in the life it is all he knows. He doesn’t think that it is all new to Tiffany and he needs to explain things to her. Well as much as he can anyway.
When Tiffany’s stalker ex-husband finds her, she only wants to protect those that have become close to her. She runs again but she doesn’t realize that the MC has her back because she is part of them now. Ryder is beside himself when she disappears. He just wants her back in his arms where she belongs.
And wait until she finds her ex, you will not believe it. You will be saying WTH is happening. But you will be turning the pages just to see how it ends.
I love this series and hope there will be more from other club members. I would recommend reading book 1, Marked for Death because it is the beginning of Tiffany and Ryder’s story and the start of the Blind Jacks MC. So sit back and enjoy!

Fighting Dirty is the second book in the Blind Jacks series and all I can say is WOW!!!
This book continues Tiffany and Ryder story and I couldn’t have loved it any more than I did. With Ryder and Tiffany back a the MC there is a lot of adjustments that need to happen. The only thing is, is Tiffany strong enough for all these adjustments or will she flee again? These adjustments are not just what comes with being and old lady but also with her past life and Ryder’s as well.
J.C. did an amazing job continuing their love and also bringing in a lot of drama and other characters. overall, this book had me on the edge of my seat because of the drama and suspense that J.C. was able to bring to the pages.
Loved the story line and can’t wait to see what J.C. has for us next with the Blind Jacks series.
Fighting Dirty is the continuation of Ryder and Tiffany’s story that will draw your attention from the start. It deals with their intense connection while getting to know each other more, building a relationship and dealing with obstacles thrown in their way. Some a little dangerous. Filled with drama, action and hot steamy scenes. Loved it!! I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
In this second book of the Blind Jacks MC series we follow Tiffany and Ryder’s story. Tiffany’s ex-husband is still hunting down Tiffany. Ace and the rest of the Blind Jacks are back along with a little surprise for Darkness. I love this series and getting more of Ryder and Tiffany was just what I wanted. This story was riveting and I loved every word. This is definitely a MUST READ!!!
First I am going to start out by saying that you really need to read the first book in this series to follow what is going on here. In Marked for Death we meet Ryder, Ryder is the sergeant-at-arms for the Blind Jacks MC and Tiffany, who is the nurse that got him back on his feet after an accident of sorts. We also met some of the other members of the Blind Jacks whom we learn more about in this book.
In Fighting Dirty, there is a WHOLE LOT going on. I’m talking all kinds of sexy goodness as well as some things that will have your eyes bugging out of your head because you cannot believe the crazy. There are several story lines going on at the same time but they flow in and out so effortlessly that the story never feels choppy. I will admit I’m a fan of DARKNESS, yes the President of the Blind Jacks MC has woven his way into my heart, after everything that he goes through in this story he still finds a way to leave someone standing that I thought should definitely pay for they had done to him.
This was a fantastic read and a great addition to the series that left me wanting more. I hope that DARKNESS and ACE each find their HEAs soon. I would also love to know what happens between Tiffany’s mom and Hickory.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Fabulous continuation of Tiffany and Ryder’s journey. Tiffany is learning to live within the MC world with Ryder. New threats surface to the club through the president, Darkness, which keeps Ryder busy. At the same time, Tiffany’s ex-husband, Stuart, has found her and is taunting her which gives Ryder another thing to worry about. It’s a challenge for Tiffany to be kept in the dark about club business but she trusts Ryder. When Stuart amps up his threats, Tiffany has to dig deep and decide who she is and really wants to be. All the while, we get to meet and learn more about other members of the club. The introduction of a baby for Darkness is an interesting game changer and provides a way to see the softer side of these rough riders. This eclectic family has captivated me making me curious about each member’s story.
In Fighting Dirty readers will be reunited with Ryder and Tiffany, and find themselves quickly being pulled right back into their dangerous, and oh so sexy, little world, as well as getting a glimpse into the lives of the other members of the Blind Jacks MC. Just like the first installment there is lots of action, suspense, naughty bits, and some good heartfelt emotion, littered between the pages of this one, and boy was it a lot of fun to devour every last word. These two had me on the edge of my seat, flying through the pages, and sometimes saying WOW! out loud, it was definitely an interesting and thrilling literary ride. Tiffany is still being terrorized by her evil ex-husband, and trying to adjust to a whole new life, that is nothing like the world she comes from, and Ryder is busy sorting out troubles within the club, all while trying to keep his woman safe. Thoroughly enjoyed this one and I am left anxious to see what Ms. Valentine has in store for all of these wonderful characters next! Highly recommend this series, it’s sure to take you on a thrilling literary ride!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and voluntarily read and reviewed.
3.75 stars–FIGHTING DIRTY is the second instalment in J. C. Valentine’s contemporary, adult BLIND JACKS erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Blind Jacks MC. This is Sargent-At-Arms Ryder Staunton, and registered nurse Tiffany Stone’s continuing story line. FIGHTING DIRTY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty although I recommend reading the series in order for cohesion and backstory.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Tiffany and Ryder) FIGHTING DIRTY follows the on-going relationship between Ryder and Tiffany as Tiffany becomes embedded in the MC lifestyle unsure of what the future will hold. As her past slowly begins to encroach upon the present, our heroine makes a decision to move on with her life. Hoping to protect everyone that she loves, Tiffany embarks on a mission of her own that will bring her face to face with a man who threatens her very existence. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.
Meanwhile, a rival gang begins to impinge upon the Blind Jacks territory in the hopes of procuring money and power. Club president Darwin ‘Darkness’ Dawson doesn’t do well with blackmail or threats when a familiar face presents a bigger problem then anyone could have expected.
WE are introduced to club president Darwin ‘Darkness’ Dawson, Hickory, Knave, prospect Cork, and of course, newest member Jeremy ‘Ace’ Strond, and club wh*re Alyssa; as well as Ryder’s parents Ven and Lily, Ryder’s younger sister Rose, and Tiffany’s mother Sarah Donovan. The requisite evil comes in the form of a woman from Darkness’ past Abigail Andrews; the new president of the Seven Devils MC aka Devil; and Tiffany’s ex Stuart Chamberlain.
The world building continues to look at the dark and gritty MC lifestyle. The energy is crisp but threatening; the future is fated by circumstance and on-going threats; most of the women are nothing more than throw-away toys and wh*res.
We learn what precipitated Tiffany’s life spiralling out of control but the conflict resolution leaves much to be desired. I have to question the direction of this particular part of the premise which began with a backstory about an abusive and controlling ex but somehow ends up straddling the line between darkly humorous and dangerously psychotic. The epilogue fast forwards the story line approximately one year. I am hoping there are stories in development for Ace, Darkness, Rose and Hickory.
FIGHTING DIRTY is an entertaining and exciting story line but meandered down a path of questionable conflict resolution and the resulting aftermath of Tiffany’s life on the run-something to which I continue to shake my head. The premise is interesting and dramatic; the characters are rough and brusque; the romance is impassioned and provocative.
