The last place I want to be is at my ex’s MMA club, especially since I’ve sworn off fighters. But I never anticipated meeting the De La Cruz twins. And damn, is there anyone who could resist a chance at a night of mind-blowing sex with them? With their tattoos, muscles, and the fact that there’s two. Besides, I’m getting the hell out of Vegas as soon as I’m done with college in a few weeks, so … a few weeks, so why not indulge until then?
It feels good to forget the rules…until I wake up to find out they’re my new stepbrothers.
It’s about to get complicated.

Sexy and hot
Hot hot hot
I really enjoyed the characters in this story.
This was a quick steamy MFM read.
The story revolves around two sexy twins, their desire for one woman to share, and the MMA fighting scene. Like any book in a menage trope, this story was chock full of heat and naughty scenes. If that’s your thing, you definitely won’t be disappointed with this book.
Rigo and Diego were everything. Doting, adoring, attentive to ALL of Ella’s wants and needs. And hot as all ****. What more could you ask for?
Ella wasn’t always my favorite. She could be very wishy-washy, and I didn’t feel her reasons for trying to keep distance and leave it all behind were very strong, especially after the twins came into the picture. And, hiding who her ex was made no sense at all to me. Maybe that’s just me, though.
Also, Daisy, her best friend, was all over the place. While she brought humor to the story and had some endearing parts, her mood swings got to be a bit ridiculous.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. It didn’t disappoint in the steamy encounters, for sure, and the twins were ones no one would want to miss out on experiencing. Additionally, the editing was good and did not take away from the flow and ease of reading (like poor editing does for me). If sexy, forbidden menage is your thing, this book will be right up your alley.
Hot, hot, hot! But there’s lot more here than just heat; an amazing debut
This was an impulse read on my part; I haven’t been overly impressed with most of the stepbrother stories I’ve read before so it’s a trope I’ve tended to avoid, but the MMA and menege angles here intrigued me. With a brand new author (it looks like this is a debut work), I had no idea what to expect, and boy, was I blown away.
This book is from the Scorched imprint of Entangled Publishing, and, WOW, is that appropriate! Hot, hot, hot! But in spite of all that chemistry between Ella, Rigo and Diego, there’s a lot more here than just heat–something I find particularly impressive given the relatively short length of the book. For one, I loved the spin the author put on the stepbrother angle. Plus the author did a great job of evoking the emotions that Ella was feeling in me, and I was really pulling for her to get over her issues and accept what Rigo and Diego were offering.
I did feel like the ending was a little rushed; there was a lot of summing up and compression of time in the epilogue. I’d guess that was to keep the story length down, but so much happened there that I would have liked to have seen a little more detail on, rather than being told what happened. Relatively minor in the scheme of things, though.
With an interesting setup, great characters, a plot with some twists, nicely handled pacing, and fan-yourself heat levels, this story had everything (including a few lol lines). A highly engaging one-sitting read for me, and an amazing debut. This is an author I look forward to reading more from in the future. 4.5 stars

Well, this book was smokin’ hot!
I had never read a C.C. book before, but I absolutely would again. This book is very well-written and I loved the voices of all of the characters. Though purposely not “textbook perfect,” she wrote in a way that most people think and speak which, as we all know, is anything but textbook perfect!
I enjoyed the plot and story line, specifically that Ella was a trained fighter and how that fit into the story. She routinely faced some pretty tough situations which required even harder decisions.
That being said, I felt Ella was a little too martyr-esque for me. She also seemed irrationally skeeved out about the whole stepbrother/stepsister nomenclature, especially given how well Ella and the twins “knew” each other.
But, all in all, I liked the book and would definitely read more! Like maybe Daisy’s story! (wink wink)
(I received a copy of this book in consideration of my thoughts)
I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Ella has a history with MMA fighters and wants to steer clear. She has to go to her ex’s fight club to support her best friend Daisy, an up and coming fighter. Avoiding going in Ella meets the sexy Rigo and Diego, who just happen to be twins. She leaves them standing outside with out her name. After a rough encounter with her ex she decides to hit the club at her hotel. Imagine her surprise when the twins are there. After the night of her life imagine her surprise to find out that they are her new stepbrothers. The story takes you through the 3 of them deciding if they can have a relationship with their new family situation. Daisy tells her she is in her own way.
This story is hot and steamy as well as making you feel for Ella as she learns not to run from life. I recommend this book.
