“Fight is an emotionally packed red-hot read that takes you on a rollercoaster with crazy twists and turns. The chemistry is on fire and the suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page”. – Emma Renshaw author of Vow of RetributionFate has kicked my ass from day one.My name is Teagan Langford and I grew up in the system. One violent night, fate forces me to make a choice and I must run to survive. With no money, food or place to live, I search for work where cash is king, and questions won’t be asked.
Once again, fate drops me in the hands of a handsome bartender who wants to help me. But everyone has secrets. Ones that have the potential to destroy everything.
A fugitive on the run, one determined stalker, an undercover agent and a high-profile family with a lot to lose. Suddenly, I find myself fighting for life, love and freedom.
Fight is a full length romantic suspense that can be read as a stand alone or as part of the Fate Series. Due to flashes of domestic violence, sexual content and adult language, this book is not for sensitive readers. Recommended 18+

This book was appropriately titled. She had to fight for her life. No choice. I commend her for getting back up and starting over. Some people never do.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book pulled me in from the start. I couldn’t put it down. It’s beautifully written and these amazing characters take you on a wild ride full of heartbreak, suspense, survival, and romance. Declan and Teagan are perfect for each other and their story will stay with me for a long time to come.
Highly recommend!
This book was OMG…out of this world good! I was caught…hook, line, and sinker! The characters were wonderful! Teagan Langford has had an exceptionally hard life. She thought marrying the future District Attorney, Mark Langford, would bring her happiness but as it turned out it would lead in the worst despair. He abused Teagan every chance he got until one day she was finally able to get the upper hand and escape. As fate would have it she met Declan while he was bartending. She could tell he was different than Mark. But all she could think about was that Mark would find her and this time he may kill her. Declan was determined to show her he would not let her fight this battle alone.
Teagan running from an abusive husband. One with money and power.
Declan bartender who sees her bruises and pain and wants to protect her.
This story grabs hold and does not let go from the first page to the last. Strong loving characters who fight for those the have named family. It deals with severe abuse, and other horrible crimes that can pull up tigers so be aware but it is so worth the read.
For a first book I found it well written, well edited and compelling to read.

A beautifully written story about a survivor.
This story will consume you, your heart and soul.
Emotional background, finding romance, with suspense.
What a story, that will stay with me for long time.
Fight Paige Hill is book 1 in the Fate Series. This is the story of Declan and Teagan.
Teagan was a child of the ‘system’ which wasn’t a very good life, then Mark came into her life and she thought her life was headed for better. But Mark who is now her husband has turned into a controlling abusive husband who is also a DA, so he knows how to work the system so she is always on the wrong side. So when he almost kills her she goes on the run knowing that no one would help her there. While trying to start a new life she meets Declan a bartender who is very hot of course but is also very protective type person. Declan knows pretty quickly that Teagan is running from something and he moves forward to help her, but everyone has secretes….even Declan.
This is a dark romance that for me was a page turner… great first book by this author. I hope to read more from her soon.
FANTASTIC!
A gripping read that gets under your skin in your heart and shakes you to your core. Engrossing and painstakingly relatable storyline that is hard to grasp as it unfolds all the while incredibly hard to put down! A fantastic must read that I look forward to reading more of the emotionally heartfelt read!
Fight is the story of a women who is abused, but she fights back, she runs, making it to a new town, she fights to find herself again, with the help of others can she overcome years of abuse and fear..
This is a powerful story. Really well written, great character. Strong chemistry.
4 stars for Fight By Paige Hill. This is my first book from this author, and I loved it.
Teagan has had a rough life. Starting when she was a child growing up in the foster system, going from home to home. Finally, she thought things had taken a turn when she meets a handsome ma. She found something she had been missing for years, love. Little did she know this was going to be the biggest mistake of her life. After one bloody battle and with the help of the only friends she has ever known, she goes on the run. She is going to fight to stay as far away from her husband as possible. She knows no one will ever believe her since her husband is a DA.
On the run is where she meets the sexy bartender Declan. Right away Declan is drawn to her and after saving her from what could have been horrible situation, he wants to know her even more. The more he learns about Taryn/ Teagan, the more he is sure she is hiding something. What can Declan do when he knows he is hiding something too. Just when Teagan/ Taryn is getting comfortable and closer to Declan her biggest mistake is back and, in the shadows, watching and waiting. He is there to hunt Teagan and to give her what she deserves. She begins to wonder if she will ever be free of him.
To do what Teagan/ Taryn does takes guts. She finally wants to be free and knows she deserves better. She had me fighting my emotions from the first few pages. She is determined and that is what I loved most about this story. Fight is a great title for this book. I don’t think you could describe what Teagan has to do and what she has done her whole life better than the word Fight. She has fought day in and day out just to survive. Then in comes Declan, with him she has found a place where she finally feels safe. However, he has secrets, secrets that could change how safe he makes Teagan feel. What happens when his secrets and her past collide, can they both survive? Can they survive together?
O and I love this cover. It is simple but the way she is sitting just says so much about Teagan’s situation. You might look at it and see someone broken but I look at it and see someone who is gearing up for a fight. Someone who is slowly building her strength. I loved this book and look forward to reading more from this author. I did receive a copy of this book for an honest review.
I could not put this book down, the story of Teagan and Declan kept me wanting more every page I read. This is the first time that I have ever read a book by Paige Hill and it will not be my last as I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I feel like as though Paige addressed the issues of abuse (emotional & physical) was very realistic and made me feel like a person that was a part of Teagan’s life. She was trapped in a life that she feared she would never be able to leave, she had the opportunity to escape with help from her “adoptive” family. I feel like she could have done a little better in her hiding efforts as it seemed the timeline was rushed. The sparks that were flying between Teagan & Declan only made every girl to want a man like Declan in their life, a man that comes to save the day and be the protector. I am so glad that Teagan and Declan found one another, and I highly recommend this book.
This is the first book I have read by this author. Tissues lots of tissues. This was an emotional book to get through for me. Teagan is an amazing character who fights for her life her freedom and love. I loved every single page turning moment in this storyline. Intense mind blowing moments that have you on one emotional roller coaster. But just an amazing gripping book from beginning to end. I can’t wait to read more from Paige.
Paige Hill is a new author for me and she did not disappoint. Fight is a book filled with every emotion possible, doesn’t matter if you are looking for fear, anger, passion, love, hate this book has it all.
Teagan had the will to survive no matter what was thrown at her. She was a fighter that never lost herself no matter the hell she went through and she did it with grace. Along the way she was able to make new relationships with people she could call her own. The journey Teagan and Declan goes through to find happiness is nothing short of remarkable.
“If you want peace, prepare for war”. To me that quote is the perfect epitome of this story.
It’s stories like these that really get my emotions going from page one and end up being a great read. Teagan has gone through tremendous abuse in multiple different ways throughout her life. The most recent is the spousal abuse from her husband that had been going on for a number of years. When the latest fight lands both parties in the hospital, Teagan takes it as a sign and ability to get away with help from the two people she has found friendship in. The name of the game is survival in this story and Teagan shows how to do that in another aspect of life. It’s there that she meets Declan and sparks fly from the instant they meet, and Teagan doesn’t know that he has secrets of his own. When the secrets catch up to both of them, the big question is if they will trust in each other with those or continue to run. Overall, it was a great read and I loved the surprise in the end of the story that shows even though the world is big, it’s small as well. Definitely enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what else Paige will write in the future.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I read this book a while ago but then got distracted and forgot to leave a review. This is a great read by Paige Hill. I love romantic suspense and this one fit the bill. It was the perfect balance of love and hate, action and heat, fire and ice.
I thought Teagan’s reaction to the abuse and domestic violence was realistic and I fell in love with her character and her fighting spirit. Teagan and Declan’s chemistry was electric! Overall, a really great read. I can’t wait for the follow up! I have no doubt Celeste’s story is going to be a good one!
Favorite Quote:
“You never needed a man to save you. You needed a man who wanted to save you.”
Another favorite:
If you fight hard enough, you just might get what you need in life. The journey to happiness is riddled with pain and sacrifice, but the struggle makes the reward that much sweeter.”
I couldn’t put it down. Kept me interested from first page to last page. Have recommended it to everyone I see. Can’t wait for the next one.
Fight is this authors debut novel and is absolutely so addicting that you will not be able to put this down until the end. Teagan and Declan are great together. She had to run away in order to save her life and ends up in the same town as Declan. They have an instant and intense chemistry that is off the charts hot and sexy. Since Declan laid eyes on her he’s just so intrigued with her. He knows she’s hiding something and is determined to find out what and to protect her while also doing his job. My emotions were all over the place. I absolutely love that even though she’s been abused she’s come out on the other side even stronger because of it all and Declan has been so great by her side. The suspense of what’s coming next will definitely have you glued to your seat and on edge the entire time. I highly recommend this book.
This book had me gasping on the first page, crying within minutes, and desperately cheering on Teagan to survive. This isn’t an easy and sweet story. My heart was more than broken for all Teagan endured. But this is a story of strength and resilience. Fight is a story of surviving, overcoming, and real fill your heart love. Paige Hill’s beautiful writing brings every character to life. You can feel every emotion pouring from the pages.
Teagan had me wanting to wrap her in a hug and never let go. Unbelievably strong she fights her way through what no one should ever have to with a little help from some amazing friends. Declan was immediately drawn to the mysterious and fragile woman who walks into the bar where he’s working. Both hiding some big secrets a sweet love starts to bloom between them as the past catches up.
Fight had me both on edge and swooning constantly. Declan and Teagan were incredible together and the suspense woven throughout their story made it even more addictive!
My first time reading this author and she has delivered a story that is emotional and full of suspense. Teagan has had a hard life and it didn’t get any better when she got married. This plot has triggers in it as it describes domestic abuse. The two main characters are likable, and you can’t help rooting for Teagan as she goes through so much. There is romance and hope to go along with the hardship and abuse, Teagan is a fighter and a survivor. The author has done a wonderful job telling this story and she quickly drew me in and never let me go!

I was so intrigued by this book! Paige Hill was a new to me author and I have to say, she didn’t disappoint! Teagan grew up in the system and her unfortunate upbringing followed her to adulthood where she continued to struggle with domestic violence issues at home. While she narrowly escapes thanks to the help of her closest and only friends; the trouble seems to follow her! She meets bar tender Declan in a new city and they have an immediate connection that quickly grows into something more. Declan clearly has feelings for Teagan and wants to help her as much as he can even if it means jeopardizing his career! Their love story is beautiful and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Teagan’s friends come full circle at the end. Don’t miss this one!
