Meh.
Wow!! This book has incredible characters who make it so easy to root for them. The plot never dulled and keeps you wanting more. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a great romance
Most of the other books of this type are copy cats. Nothing is better than the 50 Shades of Grey books. These are in my top 10 books of all time. I am 78 and have read many many books. Loved them and Christian Grey. Can’t wait to read the new book.
Every bit as good as the movie.
I’ve heard it said there was more to the book than was in the movie. Maybe I need to review the movie again, but I didn’t feel there was much more in the book than what I saw in the movie. From my recollection, I think the beginning (before they meet) was a little more developed in the movie than in the book …
It’s a mystery how these books have become so popular. Sure, the sex scenes are explicit, but there are so many better books out there with really good explicit sex scenes! Sex scenes with two (or more) equally engaged and aroused human beings. Now that’s hot. Authors who can actually describe arousal in a way that captures and arouses the reader. …
I read the series and loved all 3. I felt the agony that Christian went thru with himself. The only thing I critique is too much sex and I do that very mildly.
It was an interesting read and broke the mold of what I thought it would be. I thought it would solely be smut but I had a pleasant surprise when I really got into it. I was really drawn into the story and ended up reading the full trilogy.
An unrealistic view of BDSM and the characters were too obvious.
Although I found it to be a good read overall, her lack of research skills while writing about the BDSM community is what bugs me.
WOW what a book, it had me from the 1st meeting to the last. He was so not romantic, she was they found a line between the two and made it work. Would I recommend this book oh yes. Again and again and again. Great book wonderful book.
I have read better. Way before this ever came out.
It was very steamy and seductive
This is the book that got me into the genre. Read multiple times and still think about.
Loved the characters
I could not put this book down! Loved every minute of it.
Enjoyed all 3 books.
Best series! Emotional and endearing…grabs your heart and keeps it pumping.
I loved that this book created an acceptance of erotic romance in the mainstream.
What’s not to like…
What can I say? I read this series when it first came out, just like the rest of the world. Was it the best written work, not really but she was brand new at this and for a newbie, I thought she did fairly well. The storyline made up for her inexperience as an author. It was a captivating story that grabbed you right from the get go and then …
