Vivian is sick of dating. Sick of the way guys treat her, sick of living and crying by when and if they call . . . she’s just done.
When her aunt reminds her that a girl has to kiss a lot of frogs before she finds her prince–Aunt Gail says that number is fifty–Vivian decides she’s taking control of her dating life: she’s going to go on a series of first dates only, and each one must end in a kiss. She begins chronicling each date–the good, the bad and the downright unbelievable–with a plan to turn the stories into an in-depth magazine series about the realities of dating in the twenty-first century.
Everything’s going along according to plan until Vivian hits a bump in her road with Frog Number Five, who doesn’t seem to understand his role in this deal. And despite Vivian’s determination to make it all the way to the big five-oh, when fate keeps throwing this same man across her path, she begins to wonder if maybe it’s time to ditch the plan . . . and kiss just one more frog.

This is a very charming romantic comedy. The two mc’s, Vivian and Charlie, have great chemistry right from the beginning. Charlie is definitely swoon-worthy book boyfriend material. The story is told from Vivian’s POV only. Although it would have been great get Charlie’s POV, the book really is about Vivian’s journey so that makes sense. The HEA ending is sweet and there is a great “where are they now” type epilogue. If you like low angst rom coms this is a great book for you.
Vivian thinks she’s coming home to carry on her life where she left it 3 months ago, but what she comes home to is a disaster, at least from her perspective. Just when she has decided on a path to take back control of her life, she meets Charlie, who may just be the unexpected detour she should take.
This is a delightful and fun tale, filled with humor, quirkiness, and sass. The “first dates” Vivian experiences are hysterical and somewhat bizarre. The chemistry between Charlie and Vivian is perfect, and, although their road to their HEA is a bumpy one, it’s also a journey worth taking. It’s a story that will make you smile and sometimes laugh, as well as tug at your heartstrings, from start to finish. I strongly recommend this extremely engaging and highly entertaining romance.
It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.
A fun and enjoyable rom-com that will give you moments where you can’t help but laugh out loud. The story line is entertaining, fun to read and well written. The characters bring so much to the story as they’re easy to get to know, well developed, fun, and enjoyable. This story will put a smile on your face as you turn every page following along on Vivian’s journey to find long lasting love and romance.

What do you do when all the parts of your life implode all at the same time – job, boyfriend, and home? If you’re Vivian, you move in with your quirky aunt and you come up with a quirky plan that should get everything back on track. In this case to write an article about fifty (give or take) dates with frogs that end in kisses in order to find a Prince Charming. In between dating her frogs there is Charlie who lives in the neighborhood and who may be a non-frog. This book has a little bit of everything – sweet moments, side splitting hilarity, sexy times, real life issues, and love – expect to laugh and to swoon. The book also has relatable characters, witty dialogue, and an engaging storyline.
Fifty Frogs is a delightful read focusing on the story of Vivian who returns from a three month residency only to find herself without a job, boyfriend and home. She ends up staying with her aunt who tells her you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince. Vivian decides to write a newspaper article about contemporary dating which she researches by going on multiple single dates and ending each one with a kiss. Along the way she meets Charlie and they begin a crazy journey finding love. I really enjoyed this delightful and humorous romance.

frog or prince
I like this author and this book has funny moments, charming and likeable characters.
Vivian comes home to find nothing is as she expected. The saying about having to kiss many frogs before you find your prince seems like a plan for dating men and finding hers.
Fifty frogs? Perhaps she may have overlooked the possibility of her prince already being there.

I have found with Tawdra Kandle her book heroines are sassy, zany and sometimes whimsical but Vivian takes the cake!
A sassy spitfire that believes in her principles even when it includes being in a relationship for convenience sake with her boyfriend Jeremy but that all changes when she returns from a residency……..
You have to kiss fifty frogs to find your prince Aunt Gail told Vivian but how many toads hides behind the princes?
That is Vivians goal to reach her dream of becoming a famous journalist she has to write the ultimate story but in doing so she might just miss her prince or the boy next door……
A sweet zany story penned by the talented Tawdra Kandle I can definitely recommend!

Vivian’s life is not going the way she hoped but with a little advise from her Aunt she may have found a way to make it better, kiss fifty frogs and write an article about her experience. This is a fun read with lots of laugh out loud moments, there is also a lot of sweet moments. Vivian and her family are a little crazy but in the best way and Charlie is the prince she needed to find. A vey enjoyable read.
This is one of my favourite rom-com! Vivian’s life implodes whe she returns from her travelling the country by train. She lost her job , her parents sold their house amd are travelling across the national park in an RV for a year, her sister left for college, she lost her apartment and she lost her boyfriend! So she ends up living with her aunt Gail and became a receptionist at a dog grooming studio. One night she decides to write an article about dating for the milenials. Can this girl kiss enough frogs to meet her prince? Funny, witty banter and sassy women!
Fifty Frogs by Tawdra Kandle
Contemporary romantic comedy.
Vivian is sick of dating. Her aunt has a theory that a girl must kiss a lot of frogs to find their prince. Vivian starts a dating project where each date ends with a kiss. She will write about her experience for the local paper. Charlie is number 5.
Cute and fun. Vivian and Charlie have a lot of chemistry and a lot in common. Even though Vivian is sick of dating, she is beautiful and attracts dates easily.
The premise was entertaining with an overall feeling of happiness.
