One to three and three to one. How it’s always been, how it’s always done. Lola has always known she has three fated mates, but as an outcast, her best friend doesn’t. So when yet another mating ceremony comes around, Lola would rather skip it in favour of a gaming tournament. Little does she know what she’s going to discover…— A paranormal reverse harem set in the Twin Souls Universe
The story was interesting and well written. The characters were beautifully developed and had great personalities. The one thing I wasn’t crazy about was that it seemed more female with female relationship than with the males. We didn’t get to learn as much about them as I would have liked. Otherwise, it was a great story and very interesting to read.

I really liked the way the story began – Lola competing in a gaming tournament and in the process run away from her destiny. There were some lovely surprises as the story progressed. I had to laugh several times during the drunken scene and enjoyed getting to know Lola’s mates. The whole book feels sweet and soothing – a perfect combination when you just want to read something fun and take your mind off reality.
Would have loved some more steamy scenes, but over-all the book feels complete and the characters are happy doing their thing.

I loved everything about this book and just couldn’t put it down, fantastically written with stunning and captivating characters, Multi layers of sub plots that are easily followed and wonderful action with romance. A must read for so many reasons. I am sure you will love these books as much as I did.
Being a gamer this one touches me on a personal level, where can I get me three sexy shifter gamers for a harem? I love how Lola found her mates while attending a gaming competition and how one of her mates was someone she never expected
This story was not my cup of tea because of the FF and the heroine was more butch in personality. The first 10 chapters were about not wanting mates and all about being with her girlfriend. Plus a whole bunch of video game details I didn’t need. The narrator had a weird type of accent and I didn’t care for the voices. It is probably a better fit for the YA crowd.

Lola is a gamer who has given up on her heritage because in her heart she’s always known she could never give up her BFF Rachel for a bunch of males. But when she goes to the tavern Dragon Soul for a tournament, her birth tattoo won’t let her deny the three fellow gamer guys that smell absolutely delicious. While they were growing up, Rachel was too ‘different’ from the other fire dragons to be considered mate material. But Nature will show, this mating bond isn’t going to be the usual foursome among their species. It includes a unique fifth soul.
Fires of love burn too hot in Lola for any obstacle to heart’s path not to melt away. Despite the uninhibited dragon behaviors, the amatory action remains suitable for Young Adult readers
This was such a fun little book. It had some gaming and some shapeshifting. I also enjoyed how dense out MC was when it came to her BFF. I’m about to start Fifth Round, the second book in the series.
Lola meets her three male mates and realizes her female best friend happens to be her fourth mate. To make things more difficult her best friend is already shunned because she may not be a fire dragon. This was an interesting story about the journey of finding a harem when it wasn’t even wanted.

Fifth Soul by Laura Greenwood is a wonderful story to read. This is book number one and a wonderful story to start a brand new series with. I loved reading this story about dragons then this is one for you and I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed listening to this book by Laura Greenwood and Arizona Tape! I thought Lola’s antics were funny and had me giggling and Susan Greenway did a good job getting into character for the majority of the time. I think she could have improved her male voices and sometimes she got a little too whiney for me, so I couldn’t give her 4 or 5 stars like I would have wanted to. I think if she continues as the narrator for Book 2 that is coming out soon in the next couple months, then she would need to work on her male voices and distinguishing them more. I actually think her best portrayal was Rachel.
I originally was thinking of a 3.5 stars for the story because I was under the impression this was a standalone and was not happy Laura and Arizona left us at that stage in their relationship without going further. Now that I know there is a follow-up story, I was happy to give it a 4 star rating. I think the one piece of advice I would give it some of the phrases were repetitive, most of the time when Lola was talking to herself. I would have tried to space them out more or pick and choose where to do it. I understand why it was done that way, it just took away from the story a little because it felt like she was second guessing almost every other page. Besides that, I loved this story. I love the woman in the harem, I think Rachel and Lola’s relationship was my favorite out of the 4. I hope we get to see more of Todd and Lola interacting in the next book and Hector and Lola take their relationship to the next level (also with Martin!!). This story was cute and funny, and loooooved the game referencing. I cant wait to catch up on the other stories from this same universe and get my hands on the 5’s next story
This was a cute book. The drunken scene especially was funny. I just wish the characters had a more in depth interaction.
Fire Dragons are always mating in a group of 4. One female, 3 male dragons. Lola hates the system, because her best friend is shunned by ghe system, cannot have a mate or three of her own. Lola decides to forego her mates, but fate decides differently. But there is a twist, that neither Lola nor her mates expected.
Like the other books in the series it was well-written, a book of rebellion and acceptance of being different.

Fifth Soul is about Lola a dragon shifter who has three fated mates and Rachel Lola’s best friend. I really like the story and the interesting characters but I love the humor throughout the story especially drunk Lola. Looking forward to reading more books by this author duo in the future.
A bit of a problem when one of your fated mates has no concept of how things work – perhaps just trying to ignore it altogether will go well? Hmm…. likely not.
The saying is one to three, and three to one, so……
Steamy reverse harem, with a few extra twists !

This is the first RH story in the Twin Souls universe. I first read this story in the Realms& Rebels anthology. I like Lola. She is is willing to fight for what she wants, and doesn’t want to have to rely on fate. She wants to make her own choices and life, even to go so far as to try to cover her mating mark. She is torn between 3 gamers and her best friend. It is a great story.
