A sexy STAND-ALONE NOVEL by the bestselling author of Escape to New Zealand.
I never asked Hemi Te Mana to rescue me.
It was true that I had a lousy job. Not to mention a lousy apartment and too much responsibility, although it was a responsibility I wouldn’t have given up for the world. That still didn’t mean I needed rescuing, if that was what you’d call the situation I ended up in.
And … I ended up in.
And anyway, I knew that a multimillionaire Maori CEO with too many muscles, a tribal tattoo, and a take-no-prisoners attitude was way, way out of my league.
So, no, I didn’t ask him to, but he rescued me anyway. Because Hemi was fierce. But you know what I found out? So was I.
Note: This is the “book within a book” that Faith is writing in Just in Time: Escape to New Zealand. Hemi isn’t Will, but you may see some of Faith’s feelings about Will coming out. And, yes, it has more steam than the “Escape” books. Because Faith had a lot of sexual frustration to work through. If you don’t like strong, determined alpha men and very spicy (but fully consensual) sex, DON’T buy this book. Maybe head for New Zealand instead.

I LOVE Rosalind James and in this book, she’s outdone herself. The depth of the characters, their dilemmas, the slow build and wonderful conclusion…Yes please, more. Yes! Loved Fierce and Hemi Te Mana.
Great series to read you’ll get hooked for sure
This is a great story with two great main characters. Good writing. Very engaging. I bought the 2 follow on books, even though the first one is not a cliffhanger. I just wanted to read more about these folks.
loved this book, good characters. kept you reading, great love affair. warm family interests too. feel good ending
I absolutely love this book! Even though it’s a standalone, it’s also number one of a three-part series I finish number two and I’m just starting number three. Can’t wait to finish it! The author is very talented and keeps your interest all the way through!!
Sexy!
Loved Hemi’s and Hopes love story…..
I enjoyed the building of the relationship and the growth of the characters. The conflicts were more realistic than most romances, especially the more erotic one where the conflicts are so contrived. I found that I hardly had to suspend my disbelief to enjoy this story. Even the name was well chosen and added to the theme of the novel.
Really liked this book and the series it was quite sweet.
Steamy, great reaf
The Rock but he sounds like Hugh Jackman. I loved the visual for the hero. Did I give two figs for the rest of the story not really. It had some good moments, but overall I think you either do romance or kinky sex not both. I liked the romance a lot better than the sex. There was one scene that was well written but the others just started with a kind of hot idea and then reverted to normal sex.
A 50 Shades of Grey wannabe. Ok. Not great.
Let’s put it this way….I had to read the next two in the series. Who wouldn’t want Hemi to fall for them…..lovely story line.
Pretty predictable stpry
Book 1 of 3 not exactly a stand alone
Good story, leading man wasn’t really developed until more than half way through the book which made it difficult to like him until closer to the end of the book
Great!
A very light beach read in spite of the medical scare arc.
Steamy read, good story.
Loved this book and didn’t want it to end. Great characters; couldn’t put it down.
