He’s at the right place at the right time to save a woman from falling to her death…but she hadn’t planned to survive. Can he convince her life is worth living, with him?Fergus Reagan’s fascination with photography led him to a career of recording people’s lives. While in Nebraska photographing homesteaders in front of their humble sod houses, he’s at the right place at the right time to save a … time to save a young woman.
Iris Kerns’ suicide attempt was supposed to end her engagement to an abusive man, but her rescuer shows her life is worth living when Fergus takes her home to Clear Creek, Kansas, to help with his new photography studio.
But, the past catches up with Iris, drawing danger to her, Fergus, and his family.
The Grooms with Honor series showcases the six sons of Pastor and Kaitlyn Reagan. The family was first featured in the 1873 year-based Brides with Grit series. Besides the Reagan brothers, the series features other men in their community.
“Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all others, be faithful unto her as long as you both shall live?”
The young men have heard Pastor Reagan say these words to many couples over the years, and they vow to treat all women this way as they walk through life.
Fergus’ Honor is a stand-alone sweet historical romance set in 1886, but you’ll want to read the whole series to enjoy the stories of the Clear Creek, Kansas community.

Original plot, page turning action, well developed characters; this was such a great book I finished it in one sitting! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
the author made you feel Iris’s pain & fall in love with Fergus for his gentle caring spirit – love Linda Hubalek’s writing – plan on reading all of her books
A good story, guy helps a woman.
I enjoyed the story and thought it was well done.
Enjoyed this clean romance. The paranormal was not over-the-top and more of a side story. The romance was solid. The heroine was strong. I’d recommend this to my teen.
Nice story. Good series, historical inspirational romance. I like the author’s stories.
Loved it Wonderful book highly recommend
I enjoyed this book a lot. It kept my attention.
Somehow I just didn’t click with this book. Nothing I can put my finger on,I just couldn’t get into it
Enjoyable read.
Would like to read more of her books.
Yea, no steamy love scenes to skip through.
A really good book, I enjoy Linda’s writing
It certainly starts with a bang.
This book had a little twist. Not just the regular story. I enjoyed it very much.
Sweet book. Obviously part of a series. I read it alone and some of the character introductions were weirdly complicated. I did enjoy the story, though. Again, very sweet.
A very sweet story. Easy to read and happy ending with a very gentleman lead.
I enjoyed this story. I was sure from the beginning they would fall in love, but enjoyed the story of the path to get there. I love stories with a little history.
A different twist on the western romance,
A good, quick read .
