This is a short fire fighter romance. Bailey is singing at the charity auction when she meets felix. They have an instant love. This is short but sweet I highly recommend this story

Bailey has a love of singing, her best friend Rena has organised an auction night to raise money for the school and she has convinced Bailey to sing a song for every one hundred dollars raised for her part of the auction. Bailey also has a love of taco’s and so does a certain firefighter by the name of Felix.
Felix is more interested in taco’s than he is about dating anyone. He is busy feeding his face with taco’s until hear hears an angel’s voice, he drops his half eaten taco and watches Bailey sing on the stage. Once they are introduced after the auction, Bailey and Felix go out to eat taco’s.
Bailey has no idea what Felix does for a living unit she finds out the next morning as she is saying goodbye to Felix at the door. But Bailey has a fear of losing someone whom she loves after losing her brother when he rescued a woman on his last shift and died doing so. Felix tried to talk to her and eventually Bailey realises that she loves Felix as Felix loves Bailey. They work things out and have their happily ever after.

I liked this story a lot. Getting to see a few characters from earlier books was great. Felix and Bailey were awesome with their taco obsession.
Felix is a firefighter and has no desire to go out unless there are tacos. He prefers staying in and reading or fiddling with electronics. Felix goes to a charity auction as moral support for one of his friends and coworker that is there to be sold for a date. The auction is to raise money for kids at Rena’s school. Felix wasn’t prepared for the last of the auction when a woman takes the stage and starts singing. He is blown away by her beauty and knows that she is his one.
Bailey agrees to sing up to five songs for Rena’s charity auction. She’s always wanted to perform, but being on stage terrifies her. Bailey gets on stage and she notices a hot guy in glasses at the table where her friend is sitting and her nerves seem to melt away. She finishes her performance and wonders how she can meet the sexy man. Rena introduces her to Felix and everything is great until she finds out that he’s a firefighter. Bailey has sworn to never be with someone that risked their life after her brother who was a firefighter was killed. Regardless of his profession, she still wants him more than anything.
Their relationship is definitely instalove. I got a kick out of their taco thing. The way Bailey and Felix meet at the shelter with the cats is awesome. Their happy ever after was great. I recommend reading this book.

This is another great addition to the Stryker County Fire series and this time we get Felix’s (Taco’s) story
Taco is more interested in his books and computers than he is in women It has been a while since he has had a girlfriend and even the fact that as a firefighter women throw themselves at him doesn’t change that fact In fact his team mates have had to bribe him to go to the school find raiser. He is so glad he did when he spots the angel on the stage about to sing.Bailey is terrified to get up on that stage she has a beautiful voice but suffers severe stage fright Then she spots the gorgeous male sitting with her friend at a table and she starts to sing to him after all he isn’t even looking at her That is until she opens her mouth and starts to sing but even then she feels nothing but support from him. The attraction between them is off the charts and they spend a passionate night together and things look great for a future for them until she discovers what he does for a living. She had her heart broken when her brother a firefighter was killed in the line of duty Can she face that fear again or will she walk away from him.
This short and sweet instalove story was a great read.I really love reading about sexy nerdy guys who gets the girl. Bailey and Felix chance meeting at a charity event was fate. Who would have know the love of tacos would bring two people together. Really loved how Felix didn’t give up on his love for Bailey and how Bailey finally let go to take a chance on love. Very nice HEA.

I really enjoyed this fast, sweet, fun, and steamy story. It had great characters, and, though appearances were made by characters from previous books, it wasn’t necessary to read those books to enjoy it or understand everything. I think the problem in the book would be a real issue, so I found that to be realistic as well.
