This is a really good book. It is part of a series. Aella has a curse. She turns into a cat unwillingly anytime she gets scared. This is her story. She is hunting down where she came from and magical beings in order to remove her curse. She finds so much more than that when she moves in next door to the firehouse in town. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

“God Save the future Queen” 😉 This is one steamy book. But it’s not all steam. There’s a great story behind it with wonderful characters and great backstories. This looks like another great series.

After a shocking revelation for the reader at the end of the previous book we watch as the secrets slowly unravel. The relationships take the main stage as they grow and being to flourish while the calm before the oncoming storm is here. We saw less action, but there clearly a lot headed their way.

This was an amazing sequel! Callie learns more about her past and family while things heat up between her and her guys. This book had less action, but the plot continued to expand and reveal itself leaving me wanting more!
I love that the guys are deciding to open up more with one another and Callie. I thought it was nice that we got to meet Will’s mom and Hank’s parents. Although I realize that Callie is practically new to the world of magic, I wish that everyone would stop walking on eggshells, keeping information from her that she needs to know, and making decisions for her. I kind of saw the twist at the end coming, but still want to see how it plays out. I’m excited that we’ll get a new POV for the rest of the series.

Picking up right where book 1 left off, there is a great transition between books. This has an intriguing plot link filled with mystery, magic, romance and more. I really like the development in the characters. Very enjoyable read!
After my initial doubts, the first book truly convinced me that this series was something for me. During the week I’ve been debating quite a few times if I shouldn’t just read this book a little sooner than today, but eventually I sticked to the plan to make this my new Thursday series. The Thursdays at work are quite busy and these books aren’t too long so I can easily combine it, even when my brain is tired.
And although this book was clearly a little less action packed than the previous one, it was an amazing build up to everything that’s still to come. Just like the previous book this book had a little subplot that is resolved within the book and then there is the bigger plot that is clearly brewing and will eventually become something huge. I’m really looking forward to that moment, no matter how much I enjoy the build up too.
What I loved is that in this book the characters get a little more time to think and talk about their relationship, what they feel and what they want. I think they need a few more conversations to really get to know each other really well, but they are on their way. I love how supportive and understanding they are though! They can truly tell each other everything without being judged or being hated for it, no matter how bad it might be. And I’m sure that in the upcoming books we’re gonna learn a lot more!
And although the plot isn’t that action packed, that doesn’t mean that nothing is happening. There are a few really exciting moments and there are quite a few amazing reveals and then there is that cliffhanger! Of course, I already felt it coming a little and I have to admit that I found our heroine a little naive, but nonetheless it’s a nice starting point for the next book. I’m already looking forward to next week!
It Grabbed My attention and focus so strong I could not put it down. A word of advice when you get your copy. Grab a snack, a comfy seat, kick back and relax. You will not be moving until you finish this bad boy here. Remarkable job. Thanks for sharing.

OMG I loved this book so much. I almost want to say that it was better than book 1. There was so much going on in this book that it held onto my attention all the way through. I so can’t wait to find out what happens. Great job to the authors and keep up the great writing.
Callie’s secret is out and she is on the run. People are starting to die around her and others are looking to her for the answers.
We left Callie and the guys having just survived a battle at the King’s castle, when upon their exit from the portal they run right into the King’s mother. Callie immediately upon seeing the witch who watched the golem kill Cockburn turns into a cat and runs away while everyone watches in shock.
Now that Callie’s secret is out, the guys are trying to help her find answers. The person who might help her the most suddenly dies in magical fire. They do leave behind articles which might help or confuse everyone more as to who Callie is and what cursed her.
Old friends and family come to help the guys, but not everyone is who they say they are.
Authors Lacey Carter Anderson, L.A. Boruff, and Laura Greenwood bring us the second book, Feline the Flames (Lacra Ltd, B07YJ212RX, 2019), in their series “The Firehouse Feline” and they add the heat this time.
The mystery is still cooking and they throw in some shockers, share some secrets, and start to seal the deal on our polyromance with Callie and the men. The story moves quickly and all of the guy’s backstories are revealed. I will say that some information was given casually as if it was stated in book one, but it was not so I was rapidly taking notes.
Remember in my last review when I said that the authors focused on the mystery and gave us very little romance, well they took care of that right out of the gate in this book and continued throughout (laugh). Callie has a very funny time and we do too.
The battle is set and I can already see some surprises in store for our heroes. I cannot wait!
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
Emotionally thrilling, action packed, heart racing adventure filled with magical and engaging charters, witty dialog, exciting twists and passion. Really enjoyed this exciting and engaging journey!
This is the second book in the series and of course we are left with a cliffhanger again. We have some actions, suspense, love, and mystery. Can Callie find out why she is cursed? What about the men she is attracted to? What danger are they in? Now to wait for the next book.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Feline the Flames by Laura Greenwood is the second book in The Firehouse Feline series. I read this book as a drop-in (I did not read the first book) and I was a little lost initially, but my confusion only lasted about half way through the first chapter. There are enough minor spoilers provided to catch up the story pretty quickly, but I do wish I had read the books in sequence. This fun story is a fast paced Mature Readers Only read that offers well developed characters and a storyline that is slightly addictive. I definitely recommend reading the books in series order to get the most enjoyment out of the series.

When rescuing her firemen at the castle Callie revealed that she and the cat from the firehouse are the same. The three men, with their own magic try to help Cally to find her way around in the for her new paranormal world and fight for her rights and that of others
A funny, epic story of a street-smart human/cat who has to fight a complicated battle of magic, when her own magic is blocked.
This is book 2 of the series, and it should be read after book one. Without the knowledge of the first book, this book is a difficult to follow story.

Callie’s story continues in book two of The Firehouse Feline series and picks up where book one left off. If you have read book one then you know Callie is a cat shifter but has no control over when, where or for how long she shifts. In this book we learn more about Callie as the guys try to help remove the curse. This is an entertaining read with drama, mystery, suspense, magic, steam, humor and a cliffhanger that left me ready for the next book.
This book really gets into the nitty gritty of Callie’s past and what she’s capable of. She loves the idea of “Why Choose?” when it comes to her firefighters, Hank, James and Will. I think Hank is my favorite. Along with them she gains more family. Her grandmother is gone but her partner, as well as Hank’s parents and Will’s mom have joined their cause. This is working out to be more complicated and dangerous than Callie thought. I couldn’t understand why, since she is new to the magic, she didn’t listen to her guys or their parents and instead trusted someone she just met. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
This is a continuation of book 1 and the shenanigans continue. It’s hilarious with some heat thrown in plus some mystery and action and twists you don’t expect. It still ends in a cliffhanger so you still have to read the next book to see what happens next.

The second installment to a superb fantasy! Callie learns more about her past and her family and needs the help more than ever of her three firefighters in finding how to remove the curse that has been placed on her. There is so much that goes on in this book and the action is almost non-stop! I love this series and cannot wait to see what happens next!
