This novel was well written and edited, with few if any typos and no wrong word choices or incorrect sentence structure, as far as I could tell. This novel has fantastic world building with all the fantasy elements, and the characterization is very well done, especially of the heroine who is the primary Point of View character. I appreciate the fact that we get POV scenes from the three hero’s point of view as well, with a short scene at the end of this installment with the villain’s POV. This novel has fairly low angst and very high stakes, which is one of my preferred narrative structures for romance novels. This novel has plenty of adventure and suspense elements, so the plot moves along at an exciting pace. This installment of this fantasy reverse harem ends on a cliffhanger, so I don’t recommend this novel to readers who hate cliffhanger endings. This is an entertaining, well written fantasy reverse harem romance installment that I recommend to readers who enjoy cliffhanger endings with the same characters’ story being told over multiple novels or installments.

The Prologue gives the reader some information on Callie’s powerful grandmother – Her Royal Highness, the Dowager Queen – who did not arrive in time to save Callie’s parents. But to protect Callie, she put a spell on her to hide her magic so she would not be found. She hadn’t expected Callie to shift into a cat and run away! But now time is running out. Callie only had until the Summer Solstice to become what she was always meant to be. She was desperately needed and it was time to reveal everything to her.
Callie’s firefighters – Hank, James, and Will – see Callie shift into a ginger cat and realize she is the same cat they often found in the firehouse. She needs their help to get rid of a curse, so they need her to see the Witch Dowager. But the witch is killed in a fire before they can get any answers. The evil Witch King, her uncle, is after her and will not stop his pursuit! Will Callie find answers to the rest of her questions before she is captured by the Witch King for his evil purposes? Perhaps the grimoire her grandmother left behind will have the information she needs . . .
There is so much going on in this book! Trouble comes from all sides. Callie’s guys are still trying to help her, but they are the only ones she can completely trust. Grab your copy and follow the wild adventure as Callie looks for critical answers and a way to break her curse.
So sad Callie never got to meet her parents or grandmother. Callie’s grandmother knows now is the time to tell Callie everything and for Callie to defeat her uncle the cruel Witch King. But before her grandmother Phoebe can meet Callie, the King kills his mother. But Calle’s grandmother had an ace up her sleeve. She left a grimoire for her with instructions on how to break the curse on Callie and release her powers. But Callie will need not only her firefighter guys but many witches to have enough power to break the curse. Meanwhile they have to keep safe because the King is hunting all of them. This book continues on from the first, so I would recommend you read that first as it will make more sense.
Callie has been searching for answers all her life and now she is finally on the verge of finding them out. Her three guys also have some secrets to share and Callie is interested in keeping all the boys now they know who she is.
The book kept me reading, I needed to find out all the answers she’s been waiting for and then there is a great twist at the end.
I’m ready for ready book 3.
Another great instalment in this series. Steamy, action packed and filled with live, honour and betrayal. This short but fast paced book will keep you hooked to the last cliff hanger filled page!
Can’t wait for the next book!
This is book two of the Firehouse Feline series and starts after Callie escapes from the evil King. So far her guys, James, Will, and Hank have not been able to release the curse on Callie which is blocking her magic. She decides to go and bargain with the king by herself. Good story and interesting characters!

*Spoiler Alert*
Book 2 picks up where book 1 left off with Callie (FMC) just about to find out who she is and how she was cursed. Except tragedy strikes and the answers that she wants dont come that easy. With the help of – James, Hank and Will she finds a way that could break the curse be with a great sacrifice. Omg that ending was blindingly good! Such a brilliant read. I love this series so much
I am loving these books in the firehouse feline series. Great read and hilarious! You will enjoy this 2nd book and I can’t wait to read what’s next.

This story is a lot of fun. Callie discovers that she is the Queen’s granddaughter and her powers have been locked away. Now she and her three firemen just have to figure out how to unlock her powers, avoid the evil king, and keep her cat from running off again. second book very disappointing. lost interest after 3 chapters.
Callie is still having a hard time changing when she gets frightened and coming to realize that she belongs in this paranormal town even though she doesn’t understand what the queen is doing and why she did what she did for her. The firefighters are realizing that they are in deep and she is what they want most in their lives, they just aren’t sure they can come together as a unit. Right now the most important issue is to remove the curse unfortunately she takes some misguided advice which may or may not bring death to them all. As far as the king is concerned she has no way out. Suspense, action and romance. Like the story line. Characters are very interesting. This is a really great shifter romance & the second book in the series but I should have read the first book in the series. I found the plot quite intriguing with interesting situations & well-developed characters.
There is: a female cat shifter (Callie) on the run, the men involved in her life (Hawk, Will & James), a murderous king (Robert), drama, intrigue, humor, adventure, action, magic, witches, shifters, wizards, various kinds of shifters, friendship, humans, threats, danger, evil, magical fires, devious plans, confusion, disbelief, memories, manipulations, sadly this book does end in a cliffhanger.
This book starts right after the first one. Callie gets closer to her men. she also finds out more about her past. She meets more witches that are suppose to have her back. The only ones she can really trust are her men and maybe Sugar. The heat is turned up in this book. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

This is the second book in this series, guess I should have read the first book of this series first.
Now it feels like I dived right in the middle of a story.
Callie is a shape shifter cat, but she only shifts when she is scared.
Now there is an evil king who wants her power. He even kills her grandmother she didn’t know off.
But will this sacrifice be enough to give Callie her witch power back?
She gets help from her three very hot firefighters.
She can’t choose between them, but does she really have to choose?
Good story with action, an evil king and handsome firefighters, what do you want more?
Book 2 starts right up where Feline The Heat (Firehouse Witches, #1) ended, with Callie on the run from the King and his court while Hank, Will and James slowly come to realize Callie is ‘that cat’ that’s been hanging around the firehouse. It would be best to read Book 1 first for the storyline, the character development, and the world-building. They need to find her and protect her from the wrath of the King and his minions, who are committed to seeing her dead. The guys and Callie are becoming a reverse harem, with shared secrets and sex. They gain some allies, but probably not enough to defeat the King. The surprise ending is a cliffhanger, so be ready with Feline the Burn (The Firehouse Feline Book 3), but it won’t be available until 12 February. I am eagerly awaiting it.
Callie learn the truth about her past, who her family is and what happened to them and why she was cursed. The person that has all the answers was murdered. She is left with more questions than answers. She is happy to have the guys in her life helping her navigate through it all.
Callie will learn more about all the men she is attracted to. They will make moves to become more than friends. Callie and the guys are going to need help removing the curse. There are more things going on than meets the eye.
Callie, the guys and others are in danger from the king, they don’t realize that everyone helping them are not who them seem.
The slow build up to the relationships is great. The slow reveal of Cassie’s past and who she really is just draws you in. You will keep reading to see what is going to happen next. The way the author ended book, makes you want the next one now.
