Except, everyone is so mad at me. They think I should double cross him before he betrays me.
All I want to do is keep my cat, keep my guys, and if I can liberate an entire coven in the process, that would be amazing.

Jealousy can bite you in the butt. It is one of things that pops up most in this book is Jealousy. Because all 4 of them are scared to say how they really feel they get jealous and hurt. We move closer to the Solstice and everyone is on edge. Callie spends her time learning her powers, making a new friend and along with everyone else not go stir crazy. This book gives you some steam but for the most part it builds to what is going to happen next in the series.
*I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.*
Be sure to read Feline The Heat (Firehouse Witches, #1) and Feline The Flames (Firehouse Witches, #2) first; this continues the story. There are background and character development you need to fully appreciate this book.
The evil King Robert has already broken his promise to Callie not to hurt any witches. Callie is furious and ashamed of being deceived as witches are kidnapped or worse. James goes in search of information and meets an old school chum working for the English Queen of Witches – is he a friend or foe? We learn a lot about James’s history. Despite the tension and anxiety, Callie and her guys still find time for romance and hot sex. Tension rises as the Solstice approaches. The guys’ bond with Callie deepens. Callie throws down the gauntlet just as the book ends (too soon!). Waiting impatiently for Feline the Pressure. I’m loving this series.
