A sexy standalone novel from New York Times and international bestselling author Elle Kennedy!NOTE: This book was previously released in 2012 and is being reissued with a new cover and minor content changes. In tight quarters, anything can happen… his celibacy streak with a night of down and dirty sex. Instead, he gets an interrupted hook-up with a hot blonde who vanishes without a way for him to contact her. When he’s asked to keep an eye on—and hands off—his CO’s sister for a few weeks to guard her from a psycho-stalker ex, Cash accepts the assignment as a distraction…and gets the surprise of his life.
Jen Scott knows she needs protection, but she’s not looking forward to being babysat by some straight-laced yes-man her overprotective brother can boss around. Finding out her new roomie is none other than the sexy stranger who was seconds away from shaking her world apart changes everything. Orders be damned, Cash is the one man capable of helping her explore her sexuality, and she’s even willing to break her own rule—never date military men—to get the gorgeous SEAL into her bed.
Only, Cash makes it clear he wants much more than she bargained for. Not just her body, but the one thing Jen promised herself she’d never give to a man in uniform. Her heart.
Warning: Sexy SEAL? Check. Sassy heroine determined to seduce him? Check. Scorching hot sex bound to make you blush? Double check. A threesome and some man-on-man action? Triple check. You’ve been warned.

A good read, logical and realistic plot and characters. This book held my interest and I throughly enjoyed reading it.
I liked this story. I liked the romance/fling between Cash and Jen. The protectiveness that Cash had for Jen was also good. I’m not sure how I ended up with this book as I don’t read menage or guy on guy. I like my romance old fashioned I guess.
If I could delete the menage stuff and the guy on guy I would probably have given this 5 stars, but since I can’t, I have to rate it where I feel.
If you are into multiple menage with different partners and a little guy on guy action then you will probably enjoy this book.
Layered & Steamy – A Nice Surprise!
Forced proximity and fling-to-forever are my catnip. Throw in a military hero and I’m a goner. Cash is a great example of still waters running deep. There’s so much more to him than what he shows on the surface. Jen is fascinating as well and quite relatable.
Several super steamy scenes in this story and each one is creative and well-written. I’m seriously craving ice cream right now.
Lost a point because the narrative kept referring to the men as “soldiers,” but since they are in the Navy, I don’t think they aren’t soldiers.

Review:
I wasn’t sure whether or not it was a good idea to begin with this book in this series but I’m so glad I did. I found it was a great introduction to this series and my god it was so hot.
What is this book about:
This book is about Navy Seal Cash McCoy and sister of fellow Navy Seal Jen. Jen isn’t looking for a relationship, especially not with a military man. She respects the hell out of them but she doesn’t want to be with one.
After an ex turned stalker her brother decides that it’s not save for her to be in her apartment anymore. Especially when her ex doesn’t seem to realize that breaking and entering isn’t a romantic thing to do. He arranges for her to stay with a team member, Cash, with strict instructions to keep his hands of his sister. Yeah that isn’t going to happen. Cash wants to do the right thing and keep his distance. However Cash can only keep his dick in his pants for so long, especially when Jen is hell bend on having the SEAL in her bed.
What did I like about this book:
I like the characters in this book. They where fun. There was lots of great banter and so much hot sex. Like this book has one of the best sex scenes I’ve read in a while.
The book had a good story as well, it wasn’t just about the sex.
There where allot of great side characters as well. I can’t wait to read more about these men!
Rating:
4 1/2 I loved it Stars
You will be hooked from the minute that you start reading this book and you won’t be able to put it down until you’re done. I loved the story line, the action, and how you just got sucked into the story until you reach the end.
Heads up! Super steamy sex scenes!! Nothing dark, but definitely hot!
I am a huge fan of Elle Kennedy books. They grab a hold of the reader and does not let go. The characters always make me smile. This book was no exception. Well done!
A seductively sensual and sweet journey to go on with Cash and Jen. I enjoyed every entertaining moment of this story.
This was a pretty entertaining book. I listened to the audio version. The narration was ok. The storyline was pretty lighthearted, even with the stalker situation. The stalker situation was not concentrated on As much as it could have been. I felt like it was there more to get Cash and Jen together.
I liked Cash and Jen. You can read this as a standalone, but if you have read other Out of Uniform books, you get to revisit Seth, Dylan, Jackson, Carson, Holly, Annabelle, and the rest of the gang.
There were MFM, MM, and MF scenes. If any of those offend you, you may want to take a pass on this book.
Cash and Jen’s book is steamy, fun, and funny. Nothing deep and full of angst. A book that when you finish with it, you feel good.
I normally read Elle Kennedy’s romantic suspense books. This is the first of her contemporary stories that I’ve read. This is definitely not a Harlequin romance, it’s mature content about mature people, and I’m here for it.
Hot scenes. Characters are funny and have great banter. Enjoyed all the books in the series.
Awesome book
This series of books are for Mature 18+ readers only!!!!
Short story, but good read. Taboo subject, which shouldn’t be.
Love the series. Fun to re-read.
I now understand why the author prefaced the book with a warning about the situations between the characters!
Jen is a flighty, beautiful, babbling woman. She loses her job ( again ), is being stalked by her ex, and doesn’t know what to do next. Cash is a Navy SEAL and Jen’s brother is his LT. They meet in a storage room at a bar and get to talking. One thing leads to another and they start fooling around until someone walks in on them. Jen gives him her number and he promises to call but it gets wet and he can’t read the writing. When Jen’s ex grabs her, she takes out a restraining order on him. Her brother gets Cash to babysit her for a couple of weeks until the ex leaves town. What Cash doesn’t realize is that the little sister is the woman he meet at the bar. Cash promises not to lay a hand on Jen but she’s determined to seduce the sexy SEAL. They agree to a fling for the time she is staying with him. She doesn’t date military men and Cash isn’t ready for a relationship. But Fate happens and they fall for each other. Can Jen live with a man being gone more than he’s home? This story is funny, sexy, and a little suspenseful. Plenty of down and dirty sex, three ways, a creepy ex, and a whole lot of sexy military men. Plus a little m/m action with hands and mouth.
I like Elle Kennedy, her books satisfy me, they haul me in, keep me entertained and I leave the world with a smile, what more do you want? Kennedy is often a five star author for me, this one was a bit heavy on the DRAMA, which can get old if not carefully done but that’s just me. It was a good read.
Not one of her best. She’s usually pretty good but this seemed way to aggressively sexual versus having a decent or even realist plot. It played like bad porn.
Hot hot hot
I’ve read dozens of erotic romances, but this is the best. It’s perfect. It has none of the awful things and all the best things. I don’t like when the heroine winds up pregnant, because babies are neither sexy nor romantic and they tend to drive a wedge between a couple. They also spell the end to spontaneous sex. I don’t like long agonizing sections where the hero or heroine are getting knifed or shot or beaten, because that’s too stressful for me. This book had a great story, loveable characters and it was funny. I laughed several times. The warning at the beginning of the book said there would be some man-on-man scenes and I didn’t think I’d like that. But the way Elle Kennedy wrote it, that was the hottest thing I’ve ever read, a real panty-drencher. I liked that the danger scene wasn’t long and drawn out, but was short and exciting. I liked that Jen kicked the crazy guy’s butt. I loved that everyone communicated. And the banter between the guys was delightful! This is the best erotic romance ever, and now I must go get Elle Kennedy’s other books.
