Book five in the series brings Ivy and Vincent’s story. The author does a great job developing the story and pulled me in with all the emotions flowing throughout. Both characters have issues that will need to be worked through as they take their journey toward love. It’s well written ,moves fluidly and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to sit and read what a great book should read like. It is so good! The characters are absolutely perfect , Ivy and Vincent are so believable that you want to be part of the book. They have amazing chemistry and are meant to be. I’m so looking forward to reading more about the Lovelly family!!
This is my first time reading this author and I enjoyed the characters and the storyline .
Vincent was such a likable character and his dedication to his brothers was admirable.
I loved Vincent and Ivy together. These characters had so many great qualities. The storyline was entertaining and I enjoyed how they handled themselves.
I will be reading more by this author.
Oh wow. This is my first book by this author and my first book in this series. I cannot wait to read the books that came before this one. This book was absolutely amazing and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I went to sleep with the characters on my mind and woke up at 2am just to see what happened next. I really enjoyed reading every single minute of this book. Highly recommended.
A beautifully written book that has characters that tug your heart strings and make you root for them to overcome their obstacles and find true love. Angsty and page turning this book has you believing that true love can overcome anything and the fight that Vincent and Ivy do shows that love is always worth it
This is my first book by this author however I really enjoyed it. I also haven’t read the other books in this series but I didn’t need to in order to read this one. The story itself was interesting and really enjoyable to read. I loved the characters so much and was constantly wanting more of their story. It was perfect.
Clara Stone has written a 5-star book. Ivy Rose has chosen to be mute since she was 7 years old due to chronic laryngitis. Instead of speaking, she uses ASL when she talks to her sister Chloe. Chloe is the only one in her family that will have anything to do with her. Ivy finds she has another family when Harrington Lovelly comes to talk to her. Chloe talks to him instead because Ivy doesn’t want to talk to him. Chloe tells her that it would be good for her to go and talk to the Lovelly’s. Harrington gives her a letter that was written by her mother and it tells her that the Lovelly’s are her family. Ivy and Chloe are in the mall with Pete, Chloe is with him but he keeps bothering Ivy. Finally, Ivy gets up and goes to get something to eat. As she turns to leave, she runs into Vincent and spills her drink on him. Ivy calls Harrington and he comes to get her and takes her back to Pine Cove. Everyone in the Lovelly family is happy to have her home. She doesn’t feel like part of the family since she had to leave Chloe. Blake, Hudson Lovelly’s wife is having a birthday party for their daughter Hope and Vincent is invited. He is caught by Ivy coming across the back fence. They remember each other and they decide to go somewhere else. They seem to hit it off. Vincent is trying to get custody of his little brothers Charlie, Carl, and August from his step-mom Rochelle. She has a problem with drinking and drugs. Vincent’s lawyer tells him that he needs to do a few things before they go into court. Things between Ivy and Vincent are going well. Donovan Fiske is a friend of Vincent and he offers him a job doing some work for a fundraiser. Vincent takes the job and soon Ivy is working on it with him. On the day Vincent goes to court is not a good one. Vincent does not get the boys. Vincent is upset and he was supposed to call Ivy to let her know what happened. He doesn’t call her so she goes over to his house. She finds him and his shop is in disarray. Ivy tells him that he is meant to have the boys and he will get them. Vincent gets a call from his lawyer and it is good and bad news. He is to get the boys because Rochelle has died. Vincent wants Ivy to go with him when he goes to get Charlie, Carl, and August at their favorite burger place. Once the boys meet her, they all like her and she likes them. The night of the Fundraiser, Ivy has been there for a little while when her brother Harrington gets a phone call telling him that Chloe is in the hospital. She attempted to kill herself but was found in time. Now Harrington is having her flown to the hospital Hudson’s works at so that Ivy can be with her. When she gets the news, she screams and falls to the ground. Vincent runs over to her and he finds out what is going on. They all are around Ivy and Harrington and Hudson are moving her to get her to the hospital to be with Chloe. Once at the hospital, Vincent feels so guilty, he is happy that it is not Ivy in the hospital but upset that he can’t take her pain away.
Will Ivy get her sister back and be able to go back to the closeness they had before?
Can Ivy and Vincent get the life they want with each other?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Ivy has had one person in her corner her entire life. That’s her sister Chloe. She has been her rock through everything. He mom dying to her father not happy with her at all. He doesn’t talk to her and just ignores her. She got sick and has chronic laryngitis. She was talk to sign and not speak due to many made fun of her. Her sister was there always. Until she found out that her real father wants to get to know her and his family of sons and daughter in laws. Harrington goes on a mission to talk to her but she doesn’t want it until Chloe makes her a deal. Ivy is very alone but slowly breaks out of her shell and meets Vincent. A guy trying to take care of his brothers but keeps getting stop at every moment. Vince and Ivy meet at a mall and she spills soda on him but never thinks about it until Harrington’s Girlfriend Jess gets Vince to go to a party in honor of Ivy. There’s a spark that is so fast and powerful they begin to fall for each other but there’s always something going on to stop them until it happens. This is a powerful love that doesn’t break easily
Vincent is a talented artist. His stepmother is a druggie, and he’s trying to get custody of his three young half-brothers. But he has a record, and that’s causing a problem with the custody issue. Ivy’s chronic laryngitis leaves her unable to speak much, so she uses ASL to communicate. After her mother dies, her stepfather makes her life hell, but her closeness with her sister Chloe keeps her sane. As it turns out, she’s the long lost sibling in the Lovelly family, and Chloe encourages her to let them help her get her voice back. She finds out that her new family doesn’t fit any of the stereotypes that she’s held about “rich people”. They welcome her into the family, accepting and loving her without condition. I love her strong connection to Vincent. He’s swoon-worthy, knowing that he wants her but willing to take things at her pace, also not pushing her for information but allowing her to open up to him as she’s ready. I read the first book in this series, then somehow missed the next three. I’m so glad I had the chance to read this one. The story grabbed me from the very beginning, never letting up.

I liked everything about this story except for Chloe. I hated her! How dare she act like that to Ivy! Ugh, she was literally the worst.
Vincent had to be the sweetest big brother ever. Everything he did, he did for them. (I have 5 brothers and they tell me to shut up when I’m not even saying anything-lol).
I have to go back and read the first 4 books. This is a stand-alone but, there are some references that I didnt fully understand.
I highly recommend this book. It is so good! I absolutely loved Ivy and Vincent! They have amazing chemistry and are meant to be. I am looking forward to reading more about the Lovelly family!!
Vincent & ivys romance is passionate, deep, and different. I love how they went with the storyline.
Ivy and Vincent brings you a story of family and love. Ivy doesn’t know her worth until Vincent makes her feel all the things she deserves. The Lovelly family is all encompassing.
Ivy has always been told that her real father didn’t want her. She suffered from chronic laryngitis and has lost most of her voice. She uses sign language. She meets this guy who is so dreamy. They are so good together. He has a bunch of stuff going on and he needs to het his life straight. He has several little brothers and he want to get custody of them. It was an amazing book. I loved it
I loved this book! Vincent and Ivy’s romance is heartwarming, passionate, and totally unique. Clara Stone gives us a wonderful addition to the Lovelly series (including welcome visits from our favorite characters!), but this book can absolutely be read as a standalone. You will fall in love with these two lost souls who find hope and healing in each other.
Trigger warning Be warned there is drug use and attempted suicide not by the main characters
I really enjoyed this read it wasn’t what I was expecting but it had a great ending I loved how the story turned out and how full of real life situations it was. A great read for sure.
Ivy grew up with no voice since the age of seven. Having lost her mom, she only found love with her sister Chloe. Her step dad made her live a life in hell One day a handsome man showed up wanting Ivy to come with him to get help gaining her voice back. She recently discovered her real dad was a Lovely,a wealthy business man with three grown boys. The man on her doorstep was her step brother. After being convinced, she packs her bags. Thinking the good stereotypical rich hold true, this was not the case with the Lovely family. They welcomed her with open arms. She finally got a family that loves her unconditional and also the way, the man of her dreams. Vincent and Ivy connect on such an emotional level they will have you in awe.

Loved this book! This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Stone and I was not let down.
The characters are interesting and easy to like. A disability presented in the storyline is a but uncommon- I love the way its presented and championed.
I would’ve like to hear a bit more on the stepdad and Chloe but otherwise feel this was a great read.
