“Love on Canvas” he calls his exhibit, a combination of photographic stills and paint entwined to create the most awe-inspiring pieces the world will ever see. Except every last one of them features me and a moment in time where I was vulnerable.
Alec Dubois played on those vulnerabilities, teaching me lessons about love and life that would stay with me through the rest of my days.

For the month of February Mia’s journey takes her to a French artist named Alec Dubois in Seattle, Washington. Each piece contains Mia who is vulnerable at that particular moment in time.
Mia is shocked to be a muse to Alec. Mia is a motorcycle riding, ass-kicking, rock t-shirts chick from Las Vegas, who is Alec’s muse. For a month.
Mia is still working for her aunt at Exquisite Escorts and never thought she would be standing naked in front of a blank canvas in a Seattle warehouse.
Alec Dubois plays on Mia’s vulnerability, teaching her lessons about love, life that will stay with me through the rest of her days.
Audrey Carlan is amazing. If i could give more than 5 * i would
As someone who doesn’t do casual relationships, I found it difficult to transition from Wes to Alec so quickly. Clearly, this was not a problem for Mia who quickly earned her bonus. I did enjoy the relationship between Mia and Alec, the way they threw themselves into a short term fling with all the emotions, yet didn’t expect anything more. With Wes, they tried and failed to stay casual, so the clean break here was refreshing (especially since I’m still shipping Mia with Wes).
Loved this whole series.
Mia continues her adventures trying to raise enough money to bail out her father. February’s client is Alec a famous french artist. He has hired Mia to be his muse for new series of paintings he planning. She will spend a month posing for Alec and if she is willing to do it nude then she gets an additional payout.
I love that each client is teaching Mia a little bit about love and she is getting to know herself better. This is a fun, easy read. Love that the author has created very wealthy clients but they are really wanting Mia’s happiness. Can’t wait to start March.
February was exciting and sensual and my second favorite of the year. Alec Dubois was an enigma – an artist who could attract any woman but a man who knew every little thing about a woman’s body. The art he created using Mia as his muse was breathtaking from the sound of the author’s description, and I had no problem picturing what was happening at any time during the month. Alec was also a lover in every sense of the word. Rather a recluse, the sexy artist had trouble with the real world, though, and I completely understood Mia’s reluctance to stay even longer. And while she spent her time with the successful artist, Wes wasn’t far from her thoughts.
This series is a beautiful piece of art. I feel that way about a book when the author can paint beautiful, vivid and powerful images in my head. I also consider this, a piece of art because this author wrote this series and it is unlike any other series I have ever read. It kept my attention and I did not set the books down until I finished them, and that is not is not an easy task with me because of my work and I have 3 beautiful younger children. This series made me step back and ask myself if I should step out of my comfort zone more. Thank you for this beaitiful series.
It took me quite a bit to get into this second book in the series. I was truly hoping each book would be about a different girl, rather than all being about Mia. I wanted book 1 to end differently, so I was still kind of mad about that going into book 2. Once I could get into the story, I enjoyed it for what it was, but I still prefer book 1.
