DanteThe moment I saw her dancing on top of the bar, I knew I had to have her.I couldn’t look away. I’d settle for one night, but she didn’t even want to give me her number. I could tell Lily was holding back, but I wasn’t afraid of a challenge. Lily I felt the second his eyes landed on me, and I knew I’d never be the same. The cosmic pull towards him was undeniable. Dante wore me down with his … pull towards him was undeniable.
Dante wore me down with his playful Leo charm and confident smile.
He made me feel fearless… maybe it was a sign I was ready to fall again.

This book is a great addition to the series. It was fast pace without leaving out a lot of details. I love Dante and lily together. They had great chemistry together.
Dante Ricci is trying to save his club, Flux, but when he enters a bar and sees a beauitufl woman dancing on a bar he knows she is the one for him.
Lily Valenti is a writer and can feel the moment when Dante’s eyes land on her. She can’t deny the chemistry between them but wonders if she is ready for what is to come.
Does true love exist in an instant and when Lily is getting over a bad relationship is she ready to risk her heart again?
This was a good book about finding true love when you least expect it and knowing instantly that you have found the one.
I liked Dante and how hard he worked on his club but then I loved how he began to live his life once he met Lily. I love that instant chemistry and knowing someone is right for you as it really gives me hope! I liked Dante’s relationship with his sister, Franca, but at times she kind of made me frustrated as she was mad at Dante for not being at the club.
Lily was a great character but she had just recently come out of a bad relationship and she wasn’t looking for love when she met Dante but she knew it was something special. I loved her relationship with her close friends and how they were all there for her when she needed them and vice versa.
I liked how Franca and Lily came together to do something special for Dante but I knew something big was going to happen because of Tommy.
I was so happy that Lily’s friends were there for her at the end and got there in time!! The end was great and I look forward to more in the series!
Fearless to Love is the seventh installment of the Written in the Stars series, each written by a different author. This was the first book I read in the series. It is my second book by this author. I never wanted to put it down. This is Dante and Lily’s story.
Dante Ricci is twenty seven years old and is the owner of a club called Flux. His now ex-partner left him in the lurch so Dante has been working long hours trying to straighten everything out and hire someone new to help take some of the burden off him. It’s after a long night at work when he just couldn’t bring himself to go home to his empty house so instead he went for a drive, ending up in Fairlane outside a bar.
Lily Valenti is twenty four years old and lives by herself just outside of town. Lily is successful in her own right, but still, due to a past bad relationship, struggles a bit with self confidence. She noticed Dante the minute he came in to the bar, but when he asked her for her phone number, she was hesitant.
Sparks flew between them from the first moment they met and it made for a really cute story.
I’m thinking I’m going to have to check out the other novellas in this series of standalones as well.
I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.
“Fearless to Love is the kind of book you can’t help but love. Hooked form the start and amazed of Harlow’s writing skills. Instant chemistry with hot and beautiful moments. Both characters emotions felt real and had me falling in love with them. Dante and Lily had a beautiful connection and thanks to them I remembered how loving at first sight was. Highly recommended.”
Dante & Lily… these two were so meant to be together. I loved them with their over the top chemistry. A well written story that will leave you wanting your own Dante.
This emotional, quick and insta love story by Harlow Layne will absolutely slay you!! She has such an amazing way of writing stories that have so much emotion involved. This author should be a one click author for every romance lover!
She knows how to get you hook, line and sinker with her words and characters. She is an author that makes you need a cold shower with and then you feel so full because of the emotion she puts into a book!!
Dante and Lily are so hot and steamy. What starts as instant attraction turns into so much more. They are everything you need in a couple and so much more. Their story is quick and juicy! Get ready for the read of the summer!
Fearless to Love is just an amazing read! I’m not a fan of insta-love stories normally but Harlow Layne just made me a huge fan of this one. Dante and Lily were just perfect.
Lily and Dante are opposites on paper but meant to be together. They have this soul deep connection that just jumps off the pages. Harlow Layne just made me fall in love with these two both as individuals and as a couple. Dante is a businessman who was just screwed over by his business partner. Lily works in a bar and has a bit of low self-esteem, thanks to her ex.
I just love Harlow Layne’s writing style. She just made me fall in love with this book and these characters, which is saying something because insta-love is not my jam at all. But Layne wrote a flawless book. This may be a quick read but it didn’t lack anything.
Fearless in Love is a 5 star must read!
This one was an easy read. Loved Dante and Lily’s first meeting. It was an insta-connection. I loved that it was fairly effortless. There was a little situation that I felt didn’t fully get resolved, imo. I loved the cameos in this one. There are a few characters that I haven’t met and would love to get to know.
Goodness I LOVE this series as a whole! This book did not let me down at all! It is the 7th book in an amazing series. I really love Dante and Lily’s Story and I know everyone else will as well! There story is a roller coaster and I could not put the book down! A must read!
I just loved this story. It got insta-love, humorous dialog and characters you will fall in love with instantly.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
I’m not a huge proponent of insta anything in real life situations, but there is something very swoony and dreamy about it when it happens in romance novels as long as it’s written correctly, of course! Harlow did that with Dante and Lily. It’s a quickish story so the insta of it is even more realistic but by no means was it lacking. Could I have read more of their relationship? Well, yeah! Lol They were cute, fun and sexy! You’d be a fool not to want to read more of that! LOL
This is only my second or maybe third book by this author and I like what I’ve read thus far. She has skills, and I’m looking forward to a lot more from her. I’ve also read all the releases in this multi-author collaboration and they have all been highly entertaining and very well written thus far. The written in the stars concept is a great one for romance readers and I’m looking forward to reading what the other signs have in store for us! Happy reading everyone!
This wasn’t only an insta-love story for the characters but it was an insta-love story for me as well. I pretty much fell in love with the characters and the storyline immediately. I loved the glimpses of previous characters aswell. The storyline was captivating and kept me interested throughout the whole story and the characters were very enjoyable to read about. I loved it.
Great read, thoroughly enjoyed the book. The characters had amazing chemistry from beginning to end. Instant feels! I don’t want to give the book away grab the book to see how amazing it is! Received an arc for an honest review.
Zodiac Signs are such fun to explore and compare. In this Written in the Stars, #7, Fearless to Love you will not be disappointed. Lily and Dante have instant chemistry when they meet in a local club and find their attraction undeniable. From first dates to long weekends lounging by the pool, Dante and Lily must navigate their overwhelming emotions while keeping their hearts in check. An Aries and a Leo make the perfect match as it is written in the stars!
This book is a fun, fast, and sexy read. Harlow Layne brings her characters in quickly and starts building her world from the first few chapters.
I was intrigued by the series this book is part of. Twelve signs of the Zodiac, twelve different authors, twelve different books. It’s a great premise. Ms. Layne did make a passing reference to her character’s star signs and their compatibility, but it was very minor to the story, almost a throw away line.
Fearless to Love is an instant attraction and Insta lust story that very very quickly moves into insta love. Dante is our male lead. He’s a night club owner trying to dig out from under a mess his business partner left him with. It’s leaving the club barely running with high staff turn over and Dante spending more time working than anything else. He’s bright his sister in to help him, but it’s just barely getting by. Additionally, Franca, his sister is not used to working a full work week. She’s also candidly open and blunt. I liked her character.
Dante meets his soulmate when he decides to visit a bar the next town over. He’s done working for the day, but his empty apartment lacks welcome to him. He finds himself at Rocco’s bar as the bar tenders are dancing on the bar top. The only brunette in the trio catches and holds him. It’s insta lust at that.
The brunette is Lily. She’s our spunky, independent, and becoming confident female lead. An author by trade, Lily will take shifts at Rocco’s to help force her out of the house and into the world. Her best friends work there as well.
Dante introduces himself by ordering a beer and possibly her number. Lily agrees to a speed date right there prior to giving Dante any information. They both feel the attraction and sparks right away, their conversation intrigued them both so Lily relents and gives Dante her number. That’s the last night they spend alone.
The plot is fast paced and has some intriguing items and people included. Characters from other books pop into this one as part of Lily’s close group of friends. I enjoyed seeing the group byplay and their gradual growth and acceptance of Dante in Lily’s life and in theirs. Additionally, Franca will grow on the reader as well. Although she remains blunt to the point of rudeness, and stays disgusted with the amount of work she is doing, she is at heart very protective of Dante. You see her begin to soften as the book reaches conclusion and Franca has accepted Lily into their lives.
The biggest issue I had with the book was the pace. The story has engaging and complex characters. We hear about Dante’s no good business partner, but we never learn what he actually did or how Dante works out the kinks. Lily is written as a well respected and heavily published author. We know that she writes under a pen name and holds her privacy as the largest priority. Additionally she’s coming out of a two year emotionally abusive relationship. She’s slowly growing back into her self and her confidence. Dante helps with that. Lily’s abusive ex makes an appearance or two at crucial moments of the story as well as causes the catalyst that cements Dante’s decision to marry Lily and protect her forever, but these scenes seemed disjointed and the last a bit forced.
I really would have loved to see this novel drawn out a bit more. It would have sat better with me if Lily’s ex played a bigger role in the plot so he wasn’t just here and gone so much. I also would have liked to know more of Lily’s background as the story moves around her inheriting a house on the outlying part of town and not having any family left. We briefly find out a glossed version of Dante’s family, but nothing on Lily’s. The love story itself was well written, but a bit sex heavy. With two complex and well detailed characters I didn’t need all of the can’t keep their hands off each other as much as I craved knowing more about how their lives impacted them and the relationship. That said – the sex was really steamy. Well written. Just one of those books where I would have liked a few less orgasms and more outside world.
Now that I’ve told you all that didn’t work for me, let me also share how I may have placed myself into a corner and share what did work well. This is the first novel of Ms. Layne’s that I’ve read. I expected character overlap from prior books and there was. These characters were introduced well, interacted in a natural flowing way and allowed the reader to feel as if they already knew them. It makes this a true stand alone in a series. Additionally, if may be that Lily’s back story is either covered fully in other of Ms. Layne’s novels or within the Written in the Stars World.
I would leave you with this. Ms. Layne writes a well developed world. Her characters have depth and aren’t flat on the page. Her dialogue is quick, witty, and smart. I would like to read more by her.
I found this book to not only be well written but it gave us characters that we could invest our emotions and time into getting to know them. The storyline offered us a smooth flow from beginning to the end.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters.

Do you like insta-love romance? This is that… wink. It is a quick read with Dante and Lily’s attraction to each other being noteworthy from the beginning. I don’t know if it is realistic but it is definitely delicious. Haha.
You get drama and a touch of angst but what I liked was the Lily’s tribe. They are her posse and warmly welcome Dante after a clear warning not to hurt her. Hee hee. You will get a villain thrown into the mix which allows for Dante to show his protective side. That is all I am saying. You have to read the story to know what I am talking about.
This is my first book from this author and I am more than willing to read her other stories. Happy Reading Everyone!
A cute insta-love story with some drama, angst, romance, good friends, a stalker ex, and character that you connect to.
Dante is a twenty-seven-year-old business owner that’s been duped by his ex-business partner. Lilly is out of a bad relationship, helping out a friend at the bar when Dante comes in and it’s an instant connection between them.

Dante and Lily’s love story was very romantic and full on from the start.
Dante had been working hard to not lose his night club when he had enough and decided to take a drive out of town and found a small pub outside of town when he saw Lily dancing on the bar like coyote ugly.
From the moment Dante saw Lily he was in love and vise verser.
From the moment they had there first date they were inseparable and spend every night with eachother.
Some crazy things happen that makes Dante panic.
I loved this love story and cant wait to read more.
