Take one last ride with Keiran and Lake and the rest of the Broken Love gang in this fifth and final installment as they face stronger enemies and bigger obstacles while fighting to hold tight to the tattered existence of their love. When faced with broken love… Breathed. Nothing lived.
I was in an alternate universe.
No longer an innocent.
I had blood on my hands, and I wasn’t even sorry for it.
I was only afraid for Keiran.
Of his reaction when the shock wore off.
It would be an explosion.
Of hurt, anger, and mistrust.
He’d know I lied.
And to him…
The betrayal born of my good intentions is worse than the act of murder.
…will you succumb to fear…
She was supposed to be my light.
The one who saved me from the monster.
But when I looked in her eyes that day, I didn’t see her.
I only saw my father’s killer.
Her love saved me from the monster.
Mine turned her into one.
…or will you be fearless?

Everything BB Reid writes I devour! I love her books! This series was amazing! What a journey of emotions!
There was a lot of craziness in this book I wasn’t expecting. I loved the guys and their silly banter. Especially at the very end. I was cracking up. Kieran really grew as a person from the beginning of this book to the end. He was still the domineering asshole but he really shows his vulnerability too. Lake’s backbone grew solid and really started standing up for herself too. The entire group pulled their heads from their butts and got their crap together and I loved being on that journey with them. I’m very excited to see what BB comes up with next. Especially after that ending!!
***5+++ “Big Bad Wolf” stars for my beloved Keiran***
(And for the rest of them, of course!!!
But if you know me, you would know also that i’m a fuckin’ addict to him!!! Like Lake!!!)
“How would I ever be able to fix my broken love when he was still afraid of the dark?”
Honestly, I don’t know what to say about this series…
I adore the finale of this awesome series and at the same time, i feel such sadness!!!
How can i live without them??? How???
I will miss all those guys so much and my dear Keiran even more!!!
But i feel a little bit happy because B.B. Reid informed us that there will be a stand alone about Di, Q. and Jesse… And damn me, i was needing this story so much!!! I’m craving it!!!
The only thing that i can say about the “Broken Love” series is that those books were an ADDICTION!!!
Yep, to some people, Keiran’s attitude was a little bit overreacted, especially since he was still a teenager in the first two books, but i fuckin’ adore him!!!
Hey, don’t judge!!! He is a fictional character… I can’t do whatever i want!!!
But to be fair, all of the gang were awesome!!!
I loved Lake, Keenan, Sheldon, Dash, Willow, Q., Di, Jesse., Kennedy….
You already know that i adore with everything in me Keiran…
He was a tortured soul….
In a way or another, all of them were tortured soul, but they were so bound together that all their problems would be fixed… if they had each other by their sides!!!
Well, I laughed with them, i cried, i got mad and angry, i got hot and bothered, i felt agony and they built intensely the suspect in me… I felt so sorry about them and i got happy with them…
I don’t think that i will ever forgot this series….
But enough with the sentiment… I have to tell you some things about the plot…
“I fucked with her and she submitted.
This was the game we played.”
After two books about others, we finally had Keiran and Lake’s POV for once again…
From their story had passed almost 5years and Keiran and Lake, the bully and his victim who fell in love with him, are still together and they love each other more than ever…
As we know, from all the previous books, Keiran had an ugly past and he has too many enemies… Questions are still lingered around them and the fourth book finished with a big cliffy…
“He was a danger to Keiran.
I had a love to protect and a point to prove.
Keiran wouldn’t destroy me, but I might have destroyed him.”
Lake had been arrested for a murder…
No, i won’t tell you for whose murder!!! You have to found it out by yourselves…
Did she do it??? And why???
Keiran and Lake’s “wonderful” relationship is trembling down…
Lies got between them, and they’re starting to feel unsure and distrustful to each other…
Keiran is so pissed off with her because she lied to him… He is starting to worry if he had turned her innocent girl in a monster!!!
He wants to learn the truth and he is turning to his old self to have his way…
In five years, Lake had taught me how to love, but she hadn’t taught me how to forgive. Until now, I had no idea it was something that still eluded me. Effortlessly, she had become my reason, so while I knew I could never let her go, a part of me feared we would never be the same. I couldn’t bring myself to trust her. I only felt the need to control her for purely selfish reasons. I couldn’t be without her. I refused.”
Lake is starting to feel unsure and she begins to fear for once again Keiran’s change…
But she can’t aloud to herself to be intimating by himself…
She doesn’t deserve it and he doesn’t deserve to forget his new self…
She have to stand up in her height and to be fearless if she wants to save what they have…
“I used to think that no one or nothing could make me turn back because there was nothing worth losing you over. I never counted on you being the one.”
The road to a happy life for them is very long and with too many obstacles…
Will they manage to overcome them and to get free from all the demons that are hunting them down???
Will they ever get free from all those chains that are keeping them prisoner???
Will they manage to stay together forever and her love to remain untouched???
“Every night she spent in my bed i always held her in my arms, safe from the monsters that threaten to break us apart.”
Well, i love all the couples in those series but Lake and Keiran are by far my most favorite…
Their connection is so deep and intimating…
Yep, they fucked up all the time, but they always manage to find their way to each other…
And yes, you could tell that their love is a little bit twisted but in a way it’s so beautiful…
It’s powerful and real… With its ups and downs, with lots of fights and makeups, with lots of sexual tension and wrong ways…
But i did enjoy every single moment of them!!!
“And like always with Keiran, I had no idea what I was getting myself into whenever I provoked him purposely. I craved his slow careful, loving. But I couldn’t deny that sometimes I needed it like this—like he still hated me.”
Keiran had change all those years… His love for Lake changed him, but he never get rid their “savage” ways and that is his charming…
He is a possessive, controling asshole but he is such a sweetheart deep down inside and when this side of him is making an appearance, you want to lose yourself in him…
That’s why Lake can exist without him…
She is the only woman that can bring him down on his knees and i liked her for that!!!
Yep, she is tolerating too much shitty things for Keiran, but she is managing to stand up in her height…
They are a perfect match and damn!!! I will miss them so much!!!
“I dominated this girl, yet she owned me. Completely.
And I wasn’t even sorry for it.” {Keiran}
“It took a special kind of girl to bring Keiran Masters to his knees.” {Lake}
I love that everything got settle in this book…
Every question was answered and every bad guy took what he deserved…
I also liked that i took a glimpse from their future and all i have to say is “Keiran, fate is a bitch”!!!” Bahahaha…
“Keiran Masters, my dark prince, you find out who you really are.”
And somewhere here, this wonderful broken journey came to an end…
B.B. Reid, thank you so much about that and i’m looking forward for anything new from you!!!!
I’m sure, it will be equally awesome!!!
I loved this book! This author always delivers on the angst, and never fails to take us on a rollercoaster of ups, downs, and twists us before finally giving us our HEA. Lake was strong in this one. Kieran needed her strength. I loved to see their relationship grow, and I truly did not want this to be the end.
Wow, I cannot believe that I have completed the Broken Love series! I started Fear Me at the end of may and have just ravaged through every single piece of work of B.B.’s since then. B.B. has a power to write words that take over all sense of reality and consume your every though.
Fearless shows how Lake has grown to fight back. She’s finally grown a pair of fangs to bite and shows no mercy when doing so.
I love how this story takes you back from past to present. It builds the story and strengthens the characters. Not to mention, B.B.’s talent for writing sassy heroines and OTT top alphas, it made the telling of her books all the more pleasing. She’s definitely one of the very few authors that I can just ravage through every single piece of their work and enjoy the hell out of it.
So sad that this series has come to an end, but I’m ready to see what she has up her sleeve when she releases the books for the next generation.
Just a warning before you go into reading, there are some triggers and B.B.’s work does explore dark themes. If this is a problem, then steer clear.
The finale of all finales
Keiran: There was no turning back I let the monsters back in.
An absolutely brilliant series topped off by Fearless. B.B read has done it again with this amazing read that has more sharp intense edges than a chainsaw.
Told in Keiran and Lakes pov
“Even when I hated you, being without you wasn’t something I could do.”
“You were born among monsters” she lifted my face when I hid in her shoulder “but you were not meant to walk with them”
You are taken through this love me hate me relationship yet again as the old Kieran raises his ugly head but lake is no longer the run and hide girl she once was and so the battles come and the intensity with it.
There is so much within Fearless that I couldn’t even begin to describe it all without adding spoilers. There is a focus on each relationship that has been in the series the main on Lake and Kieran. At one point its almost like a murder mystery as the group come together to solve it, there is so much brilliant content.
Throughout the series, we are shown relationships that are nowhere near conventional and a bond between friends that is unexplainable but you realize it can only be love shown in their own way.
During this white knuckle ride of a book, you will see kidnappings, danger, bloodshed, darkness, betrayal, lies only to be then dragged into heartwarming moments, humour and shown evidence of loyalty, special bonds and a brilliant conclusion to the Broken love series leaving you with a sense of loss.
Thankfully there is more to come with Q Di and Jessi’s story in standalone which I am so grateful for and looking forward to.
More Keiran & Lake! This is the fifth book in the series, they need to be read in order, just a heads up. I can’t go into much detail in fear of spoilers. So, this will be vague.
All the answers and more. You’ll love this ending! Cheers to epic endings and romance with edge.
Who killed Mitch?!?! The million dollar question. Will this tear our favorite couple apart or bring them closer? I battled, was conflicted with this one, this is a favorite series for me, but I felt a bit disconnected at times. I blame it on the growth of the characters, I wanted them to be the way they always were, but in reality I needed this. Closure. I know some will jump for joy, Lake grew a back bone, and I loved every bit. Keiran will always be unpredictable, angry-sexy, one of my favorite characters ever written. Overprotective. Dominate. He’s like spicy chocolate!
BB opened a can of suspense in this one. The villains coming out of the woodwork. The plot twists were plentiful, whiplash- hair pulling suspense. It’s nail biting, angst-written-crazy. Just like all her other books, it’s toe curling, hotness. I love the mixed bag of goodies, you never know what’s to come. These characters are engraved in my heart, I cried happy tears, it was the perfect ending to a epic series. Kudos to Reid for making me fall in love with every character, to making me feel.
“It took a special kind of girl to bring Keiran Masters to his knees.”
INDEED!! I knew going in to this one that I would be sad as all get out to see this series end, and it was epic to end with the couple that started it all. Keiran and Lake had been through what felt like insurmountable odds, and it did not stop in this one. Lake really came into her own, and that was oh so satisfying. If possible, it was cathartic to see a Keiran with his edges smoothed some, and I just ate this one up with a spoon. All the characters I had grown to love during my binge of this series were accounted for, and I will miss them so much!! So many things were answered and I was in happy/elated tears by the end of this one!! This series will go down as a true experience and I loved every second!!
“You were born among monsters, ” she lifted my face when I hid in her shoulder, “but you were not meant to walk with them.”

What an emotional ride this story has been! I was really happy to be back to Keiran and Lake. I only found out about this series earlier this year. I finally found the first book and it kept calling to be read from my shelf. I said I would wait until Christmas vacation so I could binge it but by Thanksgiving, I couldn’t take it any longer. I binged all 5 books in 15 days and the only reason I am sad about it is because it’s over. Even when stories and characters are really strong, I can’t hardly stand to binge an entire series back to back. But these characters were so addictive and didn’t leave me any other choice. I also didn’t feel like I was reading the same story over and over. I can see how to some it may seem that way but the drama always seemed fresh to me. The angst was out of this world and over the top and I could not get enough of it. Book one will forever be my favorite but the rest of the series is near and dear to my heart too. I could seriously read another 5 books about these same characters right now. But my hope is that B.B. Reid will go the way of several other authors and write the next generation. This series follows Keiran and Lake and their trials. Book 3 follows Keenan and Sheldon and book 4 tells about Willow and Dash and then book 5 circles back around to Keiran and Lake. These books are much more than just a story about falling in love. This book is about friendships and facing your fears and some of the worst humanity has to offer. I don’t think these books are without their flaws but what does it say about the story telling that I can overlook those minor details and appreciate and love these book despite their flaws? I mean, I just discovered B.B. Reid in August and I’ve already read 6 of her 8 books that are published?? Her writing style just does it for me. If you’re looking for something a little darker, not just you’re sugary sweet love story then you have to read this series! I know I need more and I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next. A for sure new favorite and auto buy author!
Ugh this series sucked me and took over my life!
This whole series about did me in. The never ending drama, the games that were played between everyone, all the wtf moments, I’m glad it finally got all wrapped up. Not too bad of a series to binge on, even though a lot of it made me crazy. I can say that they are all memorable characters, that’s for sure.
What a way to end the series, fantastic book!!! Broken Love series is on my favorite series and recommend list to read.
