The Temperature Is Rising… Firefighter Cole Everett’s life revolves around the firehouse. Committed to saving lives–and to the guys who always have his back in the most dangerous moments on the job–Cole’s focus is a coveted spot on the Fairview Rescue Squad. When his captain asks him to mentor a rookie firefighter, he jumps at the chance, hoping it will help to prove his skill. But the new … skill. But the new “guy” is none other than Savannah Nelson, a female firefighter as stubbornly determined as Cole is, and a whole lot curvier in all the right places . . .
Savannah won’t let anyone extinguish her dream of fulfilling her family legacy and becoming a top notch firefighter–and she’s happily surprised when strong-willed, sexy Cole is willing to give her the chance she deserves. Concentrating on the job isn’t always easy when the heat between them flares higher every day, but Savannah won’t give up–not even when one of Station Eight’s veterans seems bent on trashing her reputation. To stop a string of possible arsons, Savannah and Cole will need to eliminate every distraction–but can they let their love go up in flames?

This is the story of Cole & Savannah. Cole is a firefighter transitioning to squad. Savannah is the new recruit that will replace Cole, but he has to train her for six weeks. They cannot leave themselves one short firefighter, due to the fact they have one rookie already. They try to fight their attraction right from the start. Savannah is the first woman recruit ever at Engine Eight. There’s a lot action, a lot of emotion, a lot of suspense, a lot of steamy scenes and lot of truth and suspicion. I absolutely loved this series, as I do all of Kimberly Kincaid’s books. I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.
Cole Everett has been with Fire Station 8 for 8 years. He loves his job and he’s looking for a promotion to squad. He’s worked hard and met all of the requirements, and now that new job is within reach. All he has to do is train his replacement on engine. Just 6 weeks of transition time and he’s good to go. He figures it’ll be a piece of cake, right up until he gets a look at his new trainee.
Savanah Nelson comes from a long line of firefighters. She just graduated from the Academy top in her class and she’s determined to live up to the family name. She’s determined, confident and capable. She’s also saucy, stubborn and drop dead beautiful. Getting her ready to take over his spot on engine without getting personally involved isn’t going to be easy, and when a routine review of a fire report completed by a senior officer responsible for the squad team Cole wants to move to suggests that there could be serious problems within the station, things get a whole lot more difficult.
Fearless is the second of Kimberly Kincaid’s Fire station 8 stories. It’s a fast paced and exciting read and the fires the team respond to aren’t the only thing that’s hot, hot, hot. The story is well written and the fire fighting information is well researched and feels believable. Characters are well developed and the cameo appearances from the characters in the previous book adds a degree of familiarity and a sense of coming back to old friends.
Savanah isn’t a girly girl and Fearless isn’t a girly romance but it is good reading and has me hoping it won’t be long until we see the men and women of Station 8 again.
Excellent! Cole is a hot firefighter who loves his job. He has his future planned out with the goal of joining the elite rescue squad at his station. He just has to train the new guy, impress his bosses, and everything will be fantastic. Except the new guy is sassy beautiful Savannah. She has dreamed of following her fathers footsteps and becoming a firefighter. She is ready to tackle anything they throw at her, but she hadn’t planned on Cole. Kimberly Kincaid is a must read for me and this book shows once again what a talented writer she is. Five stars!!
Another great addition to the Rescue Squad Series. I loved that the heroine, Savannah, was such a bad ass firefighter working side by side with hottie fire fighter Cole. She was strong and confident and just absolutely perfect for Cole. The sexual tension between them was so thick that even I was on edge waiting for them to get together. Of course when they finally got together, they were combustible. Scorching hot chemistry. Add in a little mystery and this story was so hard to put down until the end arrived. A very enjoyable read. I can’t wait to read more about the guys and girls of the Fairview Fire Dept.

Must read
Savannah Nelson is determined to make her dreams come true and follow in the footsteps of her family by becoming a accomplished firefighter. She know’s going into a male dominated profession is going to be hard, and she’ll face tough challenges along the way, but she is ready for whatever may come her way… nothing will derail her plans! Even when it comes to a handsome man in a fire suit and enough chemistry between them to start a fire!!
Cole Everett lives and breaths his work, he feeds off it and knows there is nothing else in this world that he would rather be doing. The men he serves alongside have become his family in the last eight years and he knows they’ve always got his back, and he in turn has their’s. He has always wanted a spot on the rescue squad and when he hears that there is an opening coming available he becomes one hundred percents focused on earning that spot, but before he can take the spot he must train the man who will taking his spot on the line. Which he is fully prepared to do if that is what it takes to get his promotion. But when he discovers that he’ll actually be training a female fighter to take over his spot, he knows he is going to be in trouble the moment she walks in the fire station, she has curves for days and is drop dead gorgeous… and may make focusing on the task at hand a little tough!!
I have been looking forward to returning to this series for some time now, so when I saw Fearless was available for request I jumped right on it, full well knowing that if Kimberly Kincaid was at the helm it was going to be a hot and spicy read that is certain to satisfy!! And true to my thought the moment I started this one I knew I was in for a real treat, especially the moment Cole waltzed onto the page!! Cole and Savannah pulled me into their world and had me instantly addicted and flying through the pages as fast as I could turn them… once I got started there was no stopping me! Their story was filled with unwavering intensity, smoldering passion, heartfelt emotion, & a scorching chemistry that ignited some very hot encounters that had me feeling the heat and in dire need of my very own firefighter to extinguish the flames!! Highly recommend this one… it is HOT!!
