KEENAN
It’s been four years since I ran away—from home, my brother, and my maybe father. I created a life free of expectations while pretending I wasn’t being hunted by all of the above. I managed to stay under the radar all this time… or so I thought. When big brother shows up and saves my ass, I’m forced to face everything I left behind, including her.
SHELDON
It’s been four years since I … been four years since I became another statistic. I made a lot of mistakes when it came to Keenan Masters. The first was loving him at all. He took something from me the night he left, and when I told him I still loved him, he told me he’d always hate me. After that, I learned how to be okay… until he came back. Gone was the boy who always knew how to make me laugh, and in his place was a cold, arrogant monster.

Broken love for the win! 4 stars
This book tested me, but in the end their broken love wins! Man, I felt for little boy Keenan. I loved that I got to read Keenan and Sheldon’s past, but their hatred toward one another in the present was disheartening. This book wasn’t a love story but a hate story, and it tested me. I knew there was love underneath the hate but getting them to admit it was the hard part. This was the book in a nutshell: “There is nothing worse than being in love with someone you want to hate.” Their love was broken but was it beyond repair? When they finally admitted their love for each other, that’s when they won and I won! Getting to read snippets of Lake and Keiran and their relationship was also a win! I definitely recommend this series!
*Read through Kindle Unlimited.
What happened to my sweet charmer?!?! Wow! When Keenan’s heart breaks his mind must too because that boy done lost it. And poor Sheldon was the brunt of his anger. BB Reid really put my emotions through the ringer in this one. One minute I wanted to jump through the book and strangle Keenan and the next I was raising the proverbial white flag in steamy surrender! I still have so many questions that NEED to be answered after devouring this book! I definitely haven’t had enough of this series yet!
It seems like it took me forever to finally get here! But at time I just wanted to say Wtf, & I wanted shake Keenan, for what he did to Sheldon in this book. Lord this man had no clue. And yeah Keenan was the definition an complete asshole in my eyes! We know that Keenan could be as sometimes! But never like he was through this book
dysfunctional relationship… I must say I’m not huge fan of guys bully an women! At times I seriously thought of walking away from this book. but thank god Keenan came to his sense… or more like the author did
Four years ago, Keenan walk away & left his life in Six Forks behind! With his heart in his hand
Keenan has so many emotions floating around in his head, one that stand out more than any other
There is nothing worse than being in love with someone you want to hate.
One of things that I love about this book is that, no matter what the whole crew had a common goal (Kennedy)!
Will Keenan come to his sense where Sheldon is concern? Can they fix the rift between them? can they find Kennedy in time? Will we find out Who was Keenan’s father really is? Where is Willow? So many questions will they be answer, or will we have to wait until the next installment?
Dash & Willow story is up next cant wait to start it
Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review + Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.

***4,5 “HONEY, I’M HOME!!!” for Keenan and Sheldon***
Wow!!! This series became my addiction and i couldn’t stop reading!!!
I need more and more of all those guys!!!
They are batshit crazy, they are having some serious issues, they are having lots of dangerous, even lethal problems, but i love them… All of them!!!
But my obsession is focused especially on Keiran and his Lake and i was so glad that we saw him a lot in this book!!!
(Sorry, but i have possessive feelings toward Keiran!!! Don’t judge!!!)
But that you have already realized it, so i will skip my praises to this dangerous asshole and i will talk to you about this one (asshole!!!)… Keenan!!! And my poor Sheldon!!!
We went 4 years forward and everything had change…
Keenan is no longer in Six Folks, he had runaway and he left behind everything that was hurting him.
His brother, his friends, the love of his life…
Sheldon had stayed behind and she is trying to live her life without him. She is about to graduated from college and she is trying to focus in her after school “love of her life”.
Keiran and Lake are near to her, as Dash too, even though that he had changed a lot…
And Willow is nowhere around!!! Damn! Can i say more???
All this time, Keiran never stopped trying to find his brother and he won’t rest until he succeed it!
That perspective scares Sheldon. She never stop loving him, even though she tried really hard, but she doesn’t want him back in her life…
But Keiran is an insisted motherfucher, so after 4 years, he is finding him and he is bringing him home…
At the same time, something bad happened to Sheldon and she lost someone very important to her…
Now, she had to fought her desperate loss and to face her ex-boyfriend who is back and demand things…
“A huge, frightened part of me hoped he had changed his mind, gave up, and went back to whatever hole he crawled out of—or knowing Keiran, he had been forcefully persuaded from hiding.
The knowledge reminded me that Keenan’s being here was his fault anyway. If he hadn’t insisted on finding him, I wouldn’t be so terrified of myself.
Only angry was more like it because despite what my mouth said, my heart still beat for him. I knew it the moment I laid eyes on him again—that everything about us may have changed, but my feelings remained.
The thought of him still owning any part of me was enough to drive me insane.
I felt as if I were dying inside but living again at the same time.
But I was no longer a naïve teenager… and I’d been through too much to give in again.”
Keenan was a lighthearted teenager. He was cracking jokes all the time, he was charming and easygoing, but he had some abandoned issues, that were focused on his parents. He was in love with Sheldon and they were so good together, but that fact didn’t make him to not cheat on her all the time.
And for that fact, i didn’t like him very much in the first book.
His soul totally destroyed when he found out that Keiran wasn’t his cousin, but his brother and that he was responsible for their mother’s disappearance. Except from that, he almost got killed and his girlfriend never showed up in the hospital (He thought that, but we know that she did!!!) to be there for him when he needed her the most.
“Don’t blame me because you’re a coward. What was I supposed to do? Search all over the world? Turn over every rock you might have crawled under?”
“Yes,” I answered simply. “It’s what I would have done if you had run away—if you do run away.”
She planted her hands on her hips and regarded me coolly. “Is that a threat?”
I walked up to her until my chest was flush with hers. I gripped her chin gently and lifted her face so I could look into her eyes. “It’s a threat, a promise, a commitment, and a vow. Take it seriously, baby, because if you ever leave, I will find you, but I can’t promise you will survive it.”
“I miss the old you,” she whispered unexpectedly. The pain in her eyes was unmistakable.
“That’s too bad because he’s gone.” A broken heart couldn’t be mended.
“Forever?”
“Yeah, baby. Forever.”
Now, he is back and he is not the same guy anymore.
He had changed so much and he almost became like his brother.
He wants to make Sheldon to pay and he wants to make her his forever.
I don’t know what to say about him, but he wasn’t the Keenan that we used to know.
He was cruel, mean and possessive as hell.
And i can say that in some phases he was more cruel and rough than Keiran toward his woman.
(I think that all those guys are like cavemen, especially toward their women. In the books, i like it, but not so much in the real life!!!)
Keenan didn’t hesistate to take whatever he wanted and he wanted Sheldon.
“We’ve spent enough time apart, and I promise you won’t live another day without me.” I heard the apparent threat and shivered from the cold promise. I found myself crying despite my promise not to weaken.
“You’re just like him.” It was terrifying how much like Keiran Keenan had become.
“I’m nothing like him. I’m much worse…””
That poor girl tried to resist but how she could with this man???
She started to scare of him.
That man wasn’t the boy that she used to love once upon a time.
“No matter how much he hated me, I had to remember that somewhere deep inside he was still Keenan.
My Keenan.
The Keenan who always had a ready joke and a loving touch.
Only… at this moment, here, together, he wasn’t my Keenan.
He was my ruination.”
Their time together was difficult. They have both changed a lot and their lives had moved on…
Will they manage to be together again or their love is irreparable broken???
“Why do you keep looking at me like that?”
“Like what?”
“Like you’re searching for something.”
“Because I am.”
“And what are you searching for?”
“Him.”
“Him?”
“The boy I fell in love with.”
“Why would you do that?”
“Because I’ve wanted to tell him for a long time now that I still love him.”
My ears rang with the force of my heart pounding in my chest. I searched for sincerity or for a sign that it could still be a lie.
She still loved me?
No… Not me.
Him.
For once again, there was much agony and adventure. Their problems never stopped!!!
I really liked every single moment in the book, but i couldn’t put more stars that i did to Keiran and Lake. Their story was above Keenan and Sheldon’s!!!
What can i say??? Shoot me!!! I love MY asshole tormentor more!!!
Which reminds me that Keiran for once again was in big troubles and all of them they were fighting to rescue someone very valuable to all of them. I can’t tell you who. You should find out by yourselves!!!
I also want to reffer to Kennedy, a new character of the book. I love that girl and it was a major plus to this book. I wasn’t expecting her but i fell in love with her.
But no, i won’t say anything more about her…
And now, i’m just dying to take some serious answers, and one of them is…
Where the hell is Willow???
I can’t wait for her return and Dash’s reaction to her!!!
Two more weeks!!! Damn!! It’s too far away!!!
B.B. Reid, I want to say to you that your characters are bad… really bad!!!
But you succeeded to make us love them!!!
That’s a talent, girl!!! Great job!!!
I loved Keenan and Sheldon’s story. It was dark and brutal and sexy and I could not put it down. The twists and turns kept me guessing. The plot was fast paced and I lived every second. I can’t wait for more from this world.
SPOILERS AHEAD…
I’m between and 3.5 and 4 star on this one. B.B. Reid’s storytelling is amazing and she has no problem bringing her characters to life in the Broken Love series. I hated Keenen and what he became. He was a complete douche bag, and that’s putting it nicely. The reason why and how he treated Sheldon was beyond redemption in my eyes. And it was like no one acknowledged through the whole book that Keiran looked high and low to try to find him, but he didn’t want to be found, so much so that he even changed his name! Yet he treated Sheldon like she was the lowest of lifeforms and actually threatened to kill her for not trying hard enough to find him once she found out she was pregnant! Seriously what is wrong with this picture?!?! She may not have wanted him found because of what he did to her, but that still didn’t stop Keiran from looking.
Keenan cheated on Sheldon on more than one occasion and she took him back, yet she still came off as a very strong character in the previous two books. His last fling destroyed her and she walked away. I actually love cheating in books, it’s one of my favorite tropes, but for real enough is enough and I was so glad when she chose to send him packing. Granted $hit went down shortly thereafter, but I 100% supported her decision to finally give him the boot. She was completely different in Fear Us and came off as meek. As far as Keenan goes, besides his cheating in the two previous books, I actually loved his fun loving character. That is non-existent in this book…I felt like he was a completely different character.
That brings me to the kidnapping of Kennedy. What mother in her right mind would be interested in sex when her baby has been kidnapped by God knows who and why? Not to mention being consumed by her thoughts of Keenan…it was just weird to me and felt like it didn’t reflect reality in that type of situation. I get that it’s a book and fantasy, but it just didn’t ring true to me.
So at this point I’m taking a break from the series. I love bossy alpha characters and bully stories. I’m just having a hard time seeing how these guys can be offered forgiveness by the women that have been treated so horribly by someone who claims to love them.
“It’s a threat, a promise, a commitment, and a vow. Take it seriously, baby, because if you ever leave, I will find you, but I can’t promise you will survive it.”
I battled with this review, this couple, this story, and finally settled on 4 stars and I will explain why. I truly loved Keenan’s character in the first two books, so he was already deeply embedded in my psyche when I started this book. However, it was entirely plausible for Kieran to be what he was considering his past…but I had trouble validating Keenan’s behavior with his past. Believable? Possibly, but he was more over the top than even Kieran and that’s saying something. The things he pulled in this book made it really hard to go back to liking him, or even believe that there was even redemption for he and Sheldon. I loved the story, but it was hard to like the characters…often. But there was one scene towards the end that had every cell in my body screaming, swooning, and reduced to a puddle of goo and that’s what did it for me…it was epic, so there you have it. Just like Keenan could melt Sheldon with a smirk, he had me too by the end.
“I’m asking for you to save my life because with every breath in my body, I love you. I’ll love you until my last. Without you I am no longer someone with a reason to live.”

Keenan was the fun loving charmer who had his brothers back u til his love was shattered. Then things changed. He became more like Keiran. His and Sheldons love was tested. Add an unknown daughter being kidnapped and drama ensues. Still have some questions I want answered but with the way she writes, we will get them when she wants lol
This book was different from the first two for me. It’s still a really solid read for me but I had different feelings while reading it than I did Fear Me and Fear You. I wanted Keenan to be an asshole but he was sold as such a fun loving guy in the first two books that I never really bought in to it. I still really enjoyed it and I was here for the darker romance but there was some stuff that he pulled that had me clutching my pearls. I guess with the Keiran I knew there was a deep reason he was doing what he did and that it was all probably misguided. But I felt like Keenan’s reason for being a prick weren’t as founded. And Sheldon bitched out too much. Plus, I wanted it steamier… which is crazy but oh well. The story could have been more fleshed out but all in all, I enjoyed what I read and can’t wait to continue on..
I was so happy to get their story!!
I’m enjoying this Broken Love series. Fear Us is Keenan and Shelly’s story. It was gripping, action packed and intense and had me hooked until the end. There were a couple of difficult scenes in this story but there were also lots of steamy scenes.
I listened to the audible version of this book. I enjoyed the narrator of this novel. They did a good job with the characters. This was a good read and a great continuation to the series.
Ooookayyy. This one was not my favorite. Keenan was totally different and I couldn’t understand why he was doing half of the f’ed up stuff he was doing. Boys are dumb, yo. Sheldon seemed like such a doormat, or maybe that was just me. I don’t know. I’m giving this one a big ole meh and moving on because I can’t stop this damn series.
Honestly, I hated Keenan for what he made Sheldon go through in both previous books. But his sacrificing himself for Keiran and his fight for his life somewhat endeared him to me.
That being said, I loved the shit Sheldon threw at Keenan once he came back. And I loved Ken, she was just a breath of fresh air with all the testosterone and angst running around.
It was also fun catching up with Lake and Keiran and all the other characters of Six Forks and solving some of the left out mysteries from the previous two book. Looking forward to the next one because I can’t wait to solve what happened to Willow.
Just love the Broken Love series, the gang is back with Fear Us- Keenan and Sheldon’s story and what a read it is! Fear Us is worth the 5 stars and a must read.
