Warning: This book contains a possibly possessed Pomeranian in a paranormal pickle.Stuck celebrating the upcoming nuptials between her best friend and her ex-fiance, Sophie is resigned to a weekend of suckage. However, she soon befriends a muddy puffball dog while at the lake, proving that positive thinking begets positive gains. Speaking of positive gains, she wouldn’t mind positively visiting … she wouldn’t mind positively visiting the cockpit of the positively hot airplane pilot who hangs around the bed and breakfast.
For Finn and Sophie’s dog, it’s hate at first sight. As hot as he finds Sophie, he’d love nothing more than to boot her fuzzy little demon dog into the stratosphere. But wooing the beautiful Sophie and avoiding her dog is getting harder and harder as the formerly quiet town of Forbidden is disrupted by old ladies throwing molotov cocktails.
No Pomeranians were harmed in the making of this book. No promises about the shifters.
Fated in Forbidden is the second book in the Forbidden Shifters series. Do you love hilarious hijinks, steamy love scenes, and hot alphas who are afraid of Pomeranians? Of course you do. 😉 One-click Fated in Forbidden for a suspenseful shifter story you won’t want to put down!

This story is so hilarious! Imagine going on a girls’ weekend before your best friend marries your ex-fiance where your best friend makes any bridezilla look sweet! This is the second story in the Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates series. You don’t have to read the first book to follow this one, but it will make a bit more sense. Plus, DANG these stories are so good! Things don’t always go easy, but they get to the right place in the end. You have to have a bit of woo-woo to make a paranormal story even more fun!
Sophie is living in Hell! Even with being a positivity podcaster, there is no way she can put a positive spin on this weekend! She has to attend a weekend getaway with her toxic best friend who stole her fiance. Since her friend is now the engaged girl, she has become so demanding, self-centered and uncaring of anyone else. Not only does the toxic bride have the guy, but she is also now kicking Sophie out of their apartment so the groom can move in. When the bed and breakfast they are having their getaway at is a former insane asylum that is still under renovations. While boating on the lake Sophie finds a muddy Pomeranian who loves her but sometimes gets a little bit evil. Then she meets hot construction dude Finn and it is an instant attraction! When she sees him shift, things get a bit hairy!
Finn, along with his brothers, has been doing the renovations on the bed and breakfast, aka former asylum. After his brother and Alpha, Declan, falls for the owner, Daphne, the family takes a bit more interest and care with the place. Finn keeps teasing Declan about the Slug King that he was the only one to see. Well, when Finn goes into the basement to see what can be done to create more rooms down there, he finds a bit of spookiness himself. When he meets Sophie, he knows she is his mate and tries to get on her good side. He sees how Sophie has to do so much for her bitchy friend, he tries to make things easy for her, as much as he can with her seeing him shift and her dog hating him.

I just love it when a big, hulky shifter thinks they will never mate and then they find their forever! This is a really great collaboration series, I highly recommend!
I received this ARC and this is my honest review.
I enjoyed this book even more than I did the first book of the series…and I have a feeling that I’ll love the third book of the series even more than this book. It’s a great little story with amazing characters and a wonderful environment. I really enjoyed Sophie and Finn’s journey – it’s a feel good book with a very happy ending.
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Fated in Forbidden by Keira Blackwood and Liza Street is the second book in the Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates series. I so want to jump into a car and drive out to Forbidden! I loved this story. Between the Forbidden B&B, the chaotic energies that seem to reside there and the ever so patient O’Malley’s, I don’t know whether to laugh or groan. I just could not put this book down once I got started. Sophie has so much going on and Finn is so convinced he’ll never find a mate, throw in a pinch of Sarah (cause even that is too much), a dash of Peyton and some WHAT IS UP WITH JAMES!?! and you have a couple of hours of amazing entertainment! Mature Readers Only Please!

This was a good Insta love romance with a hefty dose of paranormal on the side. Nice characters with a weird set of circumstances to keep it moving at A good pace.
A fun read!

Intriguing storyline with characters you will fall in love with. Finn thinks he will never find his one, Sophie is ready to start her new life. Forbidden is full of quirky, interesting characters. The storyline will have you laughing along with an underlying serious undertone about growth and believing in yourself. Looking forward to more in the series. Sophie has a lot going on. She had her U-Tube program, she’s moving, she’s going with her “best friend” (not) on a bachelorette weekend with the bride’s sister. Oh, yeah, she’s moving because said best friend made her leave the apartment they shared because her new husband will be moving in–Sophie’s ex.
They are spending the weekend in Forbidden at a B&B that is still being renovated. It’s a great time for everyone but the proverbial bridezilla–until…you’ll have to see who or what interrupts their mini-vacation.
Even with some paranormal interference, Finn and Sophie find feelings for each other. Will their secrets and the PNR issues keep them apart?
Really enjoyed this series. More, please.
An intriguing tale…
The O’Malleys and Forbidden, Kentucky face a mysterious outbreak. Of course it would happen when the first visitors come to the new Forbidden Bed and Breakfast. Between trying to keep their shifter status under raps and finish renovating the B & B the O’Malleys have there work cut out for them. Especially Finn who is entranced by one of the visitors. Finn and Sophie Also have to face personal challenges in this light suspense romance paranormal. I loved this fun read, the characters are a hoot and the cool storyline is told with a smidge humor and some sexy times too.
She has secrets she is hiding and puts on a false face to hide it. But it does no good when he sees right through it and is determined to change it and have her anyway. It has drama, emotional situations, suspense, is hot and so much more. I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Sophie has resigned herself to the upcoming wedding of her best friend and ex-fiance where she’s going to be a bridesmaid so she books some girl time at the Forbidden B and B for herself, the bride, and the bride’s sister. Things begin looking up when she finds a small, muddy dog while at the lake and she meets Finn, a pilot who’s at the B and B a lot. Finn, a wolf shifter, is very drawn to Sophie but her dog seems to hate him. Wooing her and avoiding the dog is difficult. But soon there are worse things to worry about as people around town soon begin acting out.
This is the second book in a series which promises to be excellent with this book as an example. It was well-written and drew me in from the beginning. The characters were wonderful and I love the way the pack works together as well as how well small town life is captured. The book’s full of suspense and romance along with some humor. I’m very eager for the next book. I highly recommend both books in the series so far and do recommend reading them in order for the most enjoyment and benefit.
Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. The romance between Finn and Sophie their chemistry between them was sensual, happiness, romance and passion. Finn is a strong hot gorgeous male shifter. Sophie is a feisty heroines. Worth the read.

FATED IN FORBIDDEN is the second book in the Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates series. The Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates series combines the worlds of Keira’s Alphas and Alchemy and Liza’s Fierce Mates. You do not need to have read either of these other two series to enjoy this new combination! Though each book in this new series will stand alone, for maximum enjoyment, read them all and in the order of release.
I absolutely enjoyed this fated-mate, paranormal romance that includes a frenemy/bridezilla and a puppy-love. There is also a frightening illness (can anyone say timely!?) that is sweeping the town. How these elements are woven together takes the expertise of two talented authors.
Sophie is a vlogger with a positive message, and she has an incredible sweetness. I loved Finn’s insta-attraction and acceptance of his fated mate, but an equal acceptance that – as a human – she may not understand or agree to the concept.
Sophie’s reaction when she sees Finn change into a wolf is perfect and perfectly described. Finn also has perfect reactions – to her reaction – that make the story everything romantic.
One final thing: there is a green fog that has developed in the basement. (Why is it always the basement? Basements are so spooky!) A large fan has been set up to try to dispel it, but where has it come from and what mayhem will it herald? I hope this is the set up for the next book!
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

This was a really fun read, with growls and lots of sizzle. Who would want to attend the wedding of your best friend marrying your ex. I sure wouldn’t but Sophie is the type to not rock the boat until Finn enters the scene and her world is rocked.

While this book can be read as a stand alone do yourself a favour and read “Claimed in Forbidden” first you will enjoy this book so much more if you have that back story. This is Finn O’Malley and Sophie’s story
Sophie has come to Forbidden to attend a bachelorette party and thy are staying at the O’Malley guest house the form,er asylum is still under renovation and Finn is one of the men working on it. Sophie is about to be homeless her flatmate wants her out so she can move her boyfriend in and that is actually Sophie’s ex. Things are changing for this blogger but she has no idea how much because Finn as a wolf shifter has realised one thing she is his mate and he has no intention of letting her get away. Can he handle her the demon pom dog that she has adopted and the strife that is hitting Forbidden You will have to read to see.
Sophie is heading to a weekend bachelorette party for her “best friend” (you would never want one like this one!) who is marrying her ex-fiancé. It is being held at the O’Malley’s B&B, a former asylum which is still under renovation. Finn O’Malley is a shifter who has given up on ever finding his fated mate — until he meets Sophie. He knows she is his mate, feels the sizzling chemistry and strong emotions. Sophie is a video blogger who is being forced to move from her apartment because her “best friend” wants Sophie out so she and Sophie’s ex-boyfriend can be together. So at least Sophie is prepared for a new life and a new home.
While on a boating trip, Sophie finds a dog and decides to keep it. Finn and the dog are not buddies. And there is a strange illness going around affecting Forbidden’s townsfolk. What is going on around here? Will Finn win Sophie over? Will he even be able to get close with the hateful dog hanging around?
This is an entertaining story, interspersed with low-level growling at the nasty Sarah’s behavior throughout – the growling was from me, not her dog. Grab your copy and see how Finn and Sophie’s relationship develops and if they find their HEA.
Book two in a new series called Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates, this series just gets better with each new book. A short story that kept me turning pages. Sophie is an Actress who comes to Forbidden to a O’Malley’s B&B for Sarah’s bachelorette weekend. Sophie meets Finn a werewolf shifter and finds a Pomeranian she names Peyton. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, demon possession, evil, and romance. I want to read James’ story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Forbidden is a town like you could never imagine. Peyton is possessed and Sarah acts like she is. Sophie’s best friend is engaged to her ex fiancé. Everything seems this confusing in Forbidden. Sophie and Finn are attracted to each other. Now if only Sophie’s dog would like him! This is a crazy and bizarre read that I loved!

Accentuate the positive
This series just keeps getting better. I love how the authors continue to bring so much emotion into the story. Each character has their own little history that just adds to the depth of their current relationships and enhances the overall experience. They also manage to come up with new and exciting drama to keep the book interesting and exciting. I loved this fast paced read and I can’t wait for the next book, I hope it’s James’ story.
I enjoyed reading this book, is entertaining, filled with action and intrigue, and thoroughly enjoyable. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
