Undoubtedly the best series ever!
I loved this story of Beth and Chris! I cried, laughed, worried, and sighed in many places of the story. When I first started this series years ago with Sara and Nicholas, I was hooked. I’ve since read and reread their story but I always felt that Chris deserved his own happiness as well. I loved it! It’s been a long time coming but well worth it. I’m now looking forward to more in this series. I hope it never ends.
I am so glad that dimples got his story told. Chris is one of my favorite side character from the Relentless Trilogy & I love the history he has with Beth. I love Beth as a character. She might be young, but she is so strong & she shows her strength over and over.
This book is a wonderful & the voice actors do amazing at bringing the story to life. Seriously, Zachary Webber has the best voice and Caitlin Greer does an amazing job with Beth.
I was the most excited for Chris’s story, but this was just… OK.
Chris never wanted a mate. In fact, he avoids it at all costs. The only girl he fell for, was the one he couldn’t have.
Chris saved Beth when she was just a little kid and kept track of her, visited her, brought her gifts. Until one day, when she was no longer a girl, but a young woman, he fell for her. And left shortly after.
Beth never really forgives him for it. Not at the new command center, they are thrown back together. Beth is determined to stay away and Chris is aiming for quite the opposite. 🙂 There is a new villain in town and the team is hard at work to figure out who he is and eliminate him.
The story was OK, but what I didn’t like the most was Beth. I didn’t feel any chemistry between them, no tension. One of my favorite thing about the original series was that, yes there was romance, but there was something else going on, the plot with bad guys and powers and stuff. Here the other plot was kind of underwhelming.
Chris deserved better. 🙂
Fantastic read!
Haha I liked this book. I always did like her characters. Her men may be a little cavemanish when they find their mates, but her females are always strong, independent warriors. Even when they’re traumatized, they stand up and make stuff happen. I like a story where the female is kicking butt.
Fated is just as brilliantly written, like the rest. Relentless is an addictive series that will leave you on your toes and fill your heart.
I’ve loved Chris since the beginning. His lighthearted banter with everyone always stole my heart, and I wondered who is Chris? With Fated you get that chance, and you get to see who his mate is. And she’s an amazing strong Mohri, with Boundless strength. The love they have for each other holds no bounds. There is a reluctance at first, because of their previous history. But that didn’t last very long. There’s no way she could resist, the bond they have.
I was trying to put off reading Fated because I knew once I started. I wouldn’t be able to stop and who knows how long till the next one. But I couldn’t help it. It called to me, and I couldn’t put it down. When I did, I couldn’t think of anything else and jumped right back in. Karen’s writing is so well done. It’s incredible, and I felt every drop of love these two offered each other. That’s what I love most about reading, really getting into the heart of characters and their story.
Of course, it’s Five Boundless Stars
