I love Diane’s sense of humor combined with a little intrigue. Having her recipes at the end doesn’t hurt!
Haven’t found a book by this author that I haven’t liked. Very enjoyable!
Love this author!
I love all her books.
Love everything about Goldie and her family. Plus wonderful recipes.
I like her books, somewhat predictable but very interesting.
Read 2010
One of the better ones in the series. I didn’t know who “did it” until Goldy herself did. That says a lot about a book.
Still, its the same formula over and over again (you can seriously read the first 4 books in this series to establish characters and then go and read ANY of them and not be confused. Seriously!)with just the murder’s …
The adventures of Tom and Goldie and Arch and Julian continue. Wonderful main characters, delicious recipes and insights into cooking.
I love this writer! Can’t wait for her to write another Goldie book.
One of my favorite authors.
Delightful and delectable. Goldie Bear’s adventures and recipes always please.
I have read most of the books in this series. They are like old, familiar friends, and sometimes I need that familiarity. In the stress of 2020, I also appreciate a book that moves easily, whether I have time to read only a few pages or a few chapters. I like the emphasis on food and how we see characters generally develop over the series. …
Another book in a series I enjoy. Great for simple enjoyment.
I always enjoy reading Diane Mott Davidson’s books. Sometimes her main character gets a little too involved in her investigating…. and then I agree with her husband, Tom, that she should just slow down and think before she reacts.
Good story though.
love her writings
I like the recipes, but these mysteries have become a bit formulaic. People are so often mean to poor Goldie despite her proven abilities as chef, caterer, and detective. At least she has a handsome husband in her life!
I have all of this series. They are all kind of the same plot line: fun murder mysteries–if that can be a thing. They are easy reads. the description of the Colorado area, where the stories take place, is wonderful. I especially like reading them next to a fire in the winter, as there a lot of snow in these books.
Author has become very formulaic. Books are predictable and follow the same pattern.
fast and lots of things going on
Love the recipes in her books – have been making some over and over for years!
She is one of my favorite authors and I look forward to seeing her next book.
