I was forced into this marriage to save my father’s life and our family’s empire, but my husband has other plans. He wants to sell Tate Media for parts and make himself billions in the process. The only way I can stop him is to expose his not-so-secret life. Franklin Parks is a monster. We have all heard the rumors, but anyone who has dared to stand up to him has been silenced. Now, it’s my … stand up to him has been silenced. Now, it’s my turn.
He is protected by all of the rich and powerful because he protects their secrets in return.
There’s only person I can trust: Henry Asher, the love of my life.
I shouldn’t get him involved. It’s too dangerous, but we can’t stay away from each other.
Can I escape my marriage and save my legacy or will I lose everything and everyone I love in the process?

That is not definitely what I expected of Franklin but I guess that is why Charlotte is a good story teller, bring out the unexpected.
Aurora certainly comes into her own in this final installation as she takes the bull by the horn and leaves no stone unturned in her quest for justice.
Brilliant end to a thrilling saga
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Charlotte Byrd is truthfully the queen of serialized storytelling. In the past she has written in a shorter version, 5 or more book series…shearing this story into a trilogy was perfection. I believe that in certain circles a marriage to combine family dynasties isn’t so far out there so this book struck me as totally believable, in this case it was another reason all together. The quarantine worked against me in getting this book read and reviewed in a timely manner but once I settled into this book I knew I wasn’t moving until it was finished. This trilogy is epically great, the characters are so fully fleshed out that you actually feel like you KNOW them.
I was fortunate enough to receive an arc for a fair and honest review.
This was the 3rd Book in the “Wedlocked Trilogy” and this series was well worth the read! The great character and storyline development continued in this book and as I turned each and every page of this wonderful read I became so invested that it was very hard to put this book down!
This book is simply exquisite. I was hooked immediately. The complexity of the characters and their story keeps you on edge. Lots of action and some twists that just blow you away. A must have book. Check it out you will not be disappointed in the series or this book! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book from the author! Can not wait for more from this author.
I couldn’t put this last book down. I hated Franklin and everything that he stood for. He was a misogynistic pig and had such a 1950’s view. I can’t believe he justified his actions by putting all of the blame on Aurora. I also can’t believe how her parents treated Aurora and encouraged her to stay in that toxic marriage. Thank goodness she had Henry and his support throughout all of this. Great ending and I’m sad to see this series end.
I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
This book is fast paced and gripping from the start that you won’t want to put it down, not even to go to the toilet, because it’s that exciting.
Charlotte Byrd is an excellent author who is able to bring the characters to life, so that you become invested in what happens to them along the way.
Aurora is married to Franklin, who is a terrible man, who treats her badly.
Thank god she’s got Henry, her ex boyfriend to lean on, because she needs his help to expose her husband’s terrible deeds.
This book is just so good, it’s got sex, violence, and intrigue. What more do you want?? It’s so well written it just flows
As you can probably tell I’d recommend this book
Awesome Totally Awesome ! Aurora is a remarkable steadfast woman and it shows all through her story. Henry is the kind of man who takes action when the need calls for it. I hated to see the end of the trilogy cause it was one helluva ride. To anyone reading my review I say if your looking for a powerful story that will keep you in suspense get started on this trilogy today I assure you you’ll enjoy them and won’t be disappointed.
I couldn’t have loved Aurora and Henry more. The live they have for one another is a special one and can withstand anything thrown at them. What a great conclusion to this trilogy and you won’t be disappointed when you read it.
This is the intense and thrilling conclusion to this gripping series. The tension continues to mount as we enter endgame mode in Aurora and Henry’s story. Be prepared to be keep right on the edge as the suspense and excitement builds and builds until it finally reaches a breaking point. A thrilling, steamy and emotional series that should not be missed. I am choosing to post a elective review.
Fatal Marriage is the third and final book in the ‘Wedlock Trilogy’. This was an amazing ending to an incredible ride. In this book, Aurora and Henry, with the help of friends, end Franklin’s reign of terror. This story was a nonstop, nail biting, suspenseful read that I could not put down until the final page. There was a lot of twists and turns and kept me intrigued. I can’t wait to see what is next for this author. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
5++ stars
Married to a monster of a man and loving the man she sacrificed for family.
Aurora goes through with marrying Franklin. Really, she had no choice since her parents bankrupted the family company and stole the employees pensions.
She soon comes to find out her marriage is a nightmare because the things her husband does are evil, abusive and filled with terror. He shares those experiences with high level men and he keeps videos on those men which gives him extreme power along with his family being very rich.
Henry loves Aurora and won’t give her up. He just has to wait for her to make the first move. It’s with his help that Aurora could come out of this alive.
Her parents support whatever Franklin wants to do to her in their marriage. Money is what is important to them and the life of Aurora’s father.
Aurora has to put her life in danger and become a bit of a sleuth in order to have the evidence to go after Franklin. Luckily she has Henry’s emotional support and a private investigator friend of his. But Henry can’t stop the physical abuse that Aurora encounters when Franklin is upset.
Aurora and Henry come up with a plan to put away all the men that Franklin dealt with and their sick ways.
This book brings the end to the trilogy in a great way. No loose ends. Aurora and Henry’s story is steamy, interesting, attention getter and an everlasting love.
Definitely recommend this book along with the whole trilogy. The story line takes you through so many emotions. You won’t regret reading Charlotte Byrd’s books.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Truly loved the ending of this trilogy. This couple went through so much. I loved all the investigation that took place and am very glad at what happened to the husband. I highly recommend this series.
So sad this epic trilogy is ending but what a rise it was!! Aurora may have found a way out of Franklins clutches but she needs the help of the one man who still haunts her dreams! Epic conclusion in every way!!!
Fatal Marriage Trilogy Book 3 by Charlotte Byrd

It is so full of twists and turns, you never know what is going to happen next. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend all three books. I also recommend you get them all together because you will want to keep reading till the end, they are very hard to put down. I received an advanced reader copy from bookfunnel and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.

Charlotte has once again written another five star read filled with amazing characters which are extremely well developed, and a suspenseful plot filled with secrets, betrayal, deceit, unexpected twists, strong emotions, and sizzling romance. This fantastic book and series will keep you on the edge of your seat!

4.6 stars
This is the third book in the Wedlocked Trilogy and what an ending it is. It is not a standalone and the books must be read in order. I would also caution those with triggers as there may be some descriptive material some may find too sensitive to handle. Aurora has given in to marry Franklin in order to secure her parent’s future after realizing that her parent’s company went bankrupt. Aurora reaches out to her true love Henry and devises a plan to take Franklin down, not realizing that it could also destroy her parents. As things begin to spiral out of control, Franklin’s jealousy is taking aim at his wife and Henry. Will Aurora get the information she desires to finish Franklin and escape her hell of a marriage? This is one absorbing drama addictive tale filled with suspense, steam and an emotionally charged ending. It will definitely keep readers on the edge of their seats. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
A suspense-filled EPIC conclusion to an OUTSTANDING trilogy!
Author Charlotte Byrd’s highly anticipated conclusion to her Wedlocked Trilogy is here and packs enough punches, twists, and turmoil to blast any romance reader to the moon and back! Their true love thwarted by circumstance and misplaced loyalty brings Aurora to a wedding day she loathes and a groom she does not love or trust. She is trapped and heartsick for Henry yet knows that she must go through with the charade set before her. When Aurora’s suspicions of her husband’s backroom deals and blatant infidelity lead to evidence of a more sinister evil, she knows she must do something . . . but what? Again, she is trapped, and now she is also in danger. . . FATAL MARRIAGE is an amazingly non-stop thriller within an epic romance which seems to be at its end, and yet author Byrd’s prose and titillation keep the hope of a future for Aurora and Henry alive! How they keep that hope alive while they do what they must do is truly an amazing story! Since some of the scenes go dark and may trigger those who have suffered physical and sexual abuse, even readers 18 and over need to proceed with caution. I volunteered to read a copy of FATAL MARRIAGE and it has easily earned a 5-STAR rating and this honest and VOLUNTARY review. FATAL MARRIAGE is a fascinating MUST-READ that will keep you focused and entertained for hours! So, get your copy of FATAL MARRIAGE, today! Happy Pages!
This book was everything. Tantalizing, intense, sexy, danger, intrigue, lies, deception, so good. What more can you ask for?
3.5 stars—FATAL MARRIAGE is the third and final instalment in Charlotte Byrd’s contemporary, adult WEDLOCKED romantic, suspense trilogy focusing on twenty-five year old heiress Aurora Tate, and high school teacher turned investigative reporter Henry Asher. FATAL MARRIAGE should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events of book two Lethal Wedding.
NOTE: If you have not read the first two books in the series, there may be some spoilers in my review.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told for dual first person perspectives ( Aurora and Henry) FATAL MARRIAGE follows in the aftermath of Aurora Tate’s marriage to wealthy businessman Franklin Parks, a marriage meant to secure her parent’s future but a marriage that Aurora is hoping to remain in name only.
Several months earlier Aurora Tate discovered her parents had virtually bankrupted the pension fund for Tate Media, and in the ensuing time Aurora had been forced into a marriage with a man she did not love but a man with predilections for the younger girls. With the help of Henry Asher, Aurora sets into motion a plan to take down Franklin Parks, but in doing so, will probably take down her parents, in the process. As Aurora’s life with Franklin begins spiralling our of control, Henry struggles knowing the woman he loves is placing herself in danger on a daily basis. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship and love between Aurora and Henry, and the potential fall-out as Franklin’s jealousy rears its abusive side directed at both of our leading characters.
FATAL MARRIAGE is the culmination of three story lines focusing on money, greed, and the powerful elite; on one woman’s desperate battle to take down a man who has destroyed so many lives, and one man’s love for said woman, and his unwavering support on a daily basis. The premise is engaging and intriguing; the romance is passionate and steamy; the characters are energetic and charismatic. I did struggle with a few points of believability but such is the nature of fictional stories; and I was hoping for an epilogue or information regarding Aurora and Henry’s relationship future.
