In the world of Formula 1, it’s every man for himself. Corruption runs deep in the playground for billionaires and the world’s most elite athletes. The stakes are high, everything is on the line, and sparks will fly when the lights go out.Lennox Gibbes is a disgraced Formula 1 World Champion, the Paddock Playboy.A tattooed bad boy with a reputation, he has a penchant for supermodels and … supermodels and supercars. His arrest records and frontpage headlines on gossip magazines precede his on-track accomplishments.
It was my job to clean up the mess he made.
But when I ran away from my problems in New York, I found all new ones on the F1 track.
Six foot tall, muscle-bound, alpha racing driver problems that will stop at nothing to get me to quit.
Secrets I was not supposed to know.
Oh, and that sultry Scottish accent?
Definitely not falling for it.
I was his PR professional. I wasn’t supposed to be his nanny.
He has a smart mouth and a bad attitude, but I need this job. He has his demons on track and I have mine off.
I have news for Lennox Gibbes, he’s messed with the wrong woman this time.
I know what I want, and I’m here to take it.
Too bad in F1, nothing is what it seems.
Fast & Hard is a standalone, enemies to lovers, steamy romance with a guaranteed HEA!

First F1 read and it wont be my last by Kat Ransom
I really enjoyed this book. I read it in a day. At first, I was just loving getting to know the characters and then I had to see how it was all going to play out. Lennox “I’m an asshole, not a monster.” is just what I needed. I was craving a hero that could be cold and sarcastic and crass without being malicious. Mallory was also up for the challenge and refused to let this larger than life guy put her in her place or out. I liked their chemistry and thought it sparked. Plenty of heat! I also know an author has me when I get to the part of the story when things fall apart and I’m wrecked along with the characters. I didn’t completely understand why they didn’t turn to each other, but I also understood they thought they were doing the right thing by the other person. Basically, creating a mess in the process leading to some craziness which I found entertaining and then Lennox going level 10 romantic and the HEA.
I really liked is the pace of the story. There is enough backstory so that we get to understand the characters without huge chunks of time spent developing them or going back in time. We meet them where they are, their families as they would meet them, and then travel along their journey in a natural way learning about them as they are.
This was my introduction to Kat Ransom and I will continue to read this series.
This is the first book I have read from this author and I loved it. It kept me wanting to read more. Once I started reading this book, I got sucked in real fast. It did not start off slow. It went right into some drama. So naturally I needed to know more. Mallory and Lennox are both stubborn and are determined to do things their way. Only they did not expect the attraction to each other. This type of chemistry can be explosive in a good or bad way. Do the complement each other or just doing a job? All I know is that my emotions were every where. I mean one moment I am laughing, or gasping in shock, horrified and down right angry. This is a great book to read and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.
This was my first book by the author. I was drawn to this story just based on the blurb alone. I love a good racing book and this one didn’t disappoint at all. The first half of this book I loved! Lennox and Mallory have some serious chemistry on and off the track. These two have fire from the beginning. Mallory is a strong character. She is determined and doesn’t take crap from no one. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to take down who she needs to, to make it happen. It was proven to her parents and Lennox’s racing partner, who was a giant douche. Lennox wasn’t a nice at first but his defense he has dealt with a lot of PR that didn’t do much for him. Him and his friends had some fun with her by calling her the Nanny. He has a reputation of being a bad guy who parties all the time but deep down there’s more to his story.. I’d say more but you need to read the book and find out. There’s also the case of the corrupt team he’s apart of . He’s restricted on what he can and can’t do on the track. I think it was complete crap and I’m glad they got taken down. He’s a sweet guy who’s loyal to his country and family. Him and Mallory mesh well together but here’s why I didn’t like the other half.. There’s no communication between them other when they’re in the bedroom. Her job has changed hands and instead of being honest or just giving him a heads up, she basically shoves him away like he was trash. This obviously doesn’t settle well with Lennox but Mallory has a plan..she just doesn’t share it with Lennox at all. These two have a happy ending but I just didn’t like how it went down beforehand. This was a good book with lots of action and mind blowing sex happens! I mean Lennox definitely knows how to dirty talk in and out of the bedroom! He is on my list for book boyfriends now!!
