You think your job is tedious? Try being the Harbinger of Evil for a day. I dare you… Hell.
A mysterious darkness is gunning for me and this time it might prevail, but I have little time to worry about that. Instead of seeking it out, I shall simply go about business as usual. If it’s fated, it will find me.
My list is long. Traveling to Earth to promote my bestselling romance novel at an alarming book convention where I must protect my privates from the rabid lady readers is enough to frighten even the Devil. Not to mention, I have to avoid my insane mother like the plague and catch the smart-mouthed, gorgeous soul seller on Earth—who may or may not be someone I’d like to keep.
So today is a day like any other. Punishments must be doled out and chaos must be encouraged. A vacation would be lovely, but there is no rest for the weary… or the evil. Luckily I know how to have an outstanding time doing outrageously bad things. Thank Hades, I’m a handsome bastard.
There is no fated happily ever after for the Prince of Darkness, no matter what ridiculous ending my niece slaps onto my autobiography.
Or is there?
Fate is a bitch, but she usually gets it right.

Robyn always writes tongue-in-cheek, spoofy satire full of snarky humor, but this series is one of her absolute funniest. Fans of the Hot Damned Series will be laughing with every page turned in Fashionable Flawed. If you need to forget about your hard day, your problems, and take a break from reality, this is a great book for that purpose.
If you like my books, you’ll probably like Robyn’s too! Check them out with this great freebie!
Another story with a laugh out loud twisted storyline.
Up to this point, every book in the Hormt Damned series has been a hoot! Original stories, hilarious romps, steamy, sexy romance that just get better and better. This story about Satan himself is the absolute funniest by far; and I still have 3 more books to go. Readers will not be disappointed in Robyn’s world!
I’ve read Robyn Peterman’s entire “Fashionable” series and this is the next to last book in that series. I’ve really enjoyed all the screwy and mostly very well developed characters, the well crafted world that encompasses the large variety of life forms or species, and that 80% of the plot lines are rich but not complex which is perfect for these fun, simple, beach type reads. By the way I love the fashion!
I do need to mention a few of the very annoying flaws in this series. To be specific; profuse amounts of swearing, out dated slang, the over use of puns and the same jokes used so often I’d groan when they arose once again.
Swearing: The original main character, Astrid read like a fun but foul mouthed 18-22 yr old but she was stated as being 29 and then 30 yrs old. Most people slow or stop their swearing in their late 20s when their responsibilities increase but Astrid’s bad habit grew by leaps and bounds and her character promoted swearing in everyone around her even after she married a classy, well brought up prince (making her a princess) AND she had a baby who repeated all her nastiest profanity. Due to her persistence other characters rampantly took up the nasty habit and the books are inundated. In addition, made up words like Absofuckinglutely, redonkulous, and asstastic that belong to teenagers and not adults are strewn throughout. Argh! None of this fits and was promoted as being humorous and other happy adjectives. I found it to be tedious and childish to the point that I thought to stop reading the series. If I hadn’t bought them all at one time I would have done just that even though I loved the characters and their predicaments.
Slang; The terms, “Word” and “Hell to the yes or no” and several others are from approximately the early 2000’s and a couple of real life situations / incidents that were mentioned place the series time frame as 2015-2018. This wouldn’t bother me because I still use the word “cool” which is from further back than I care to mention but the dated slang is /are used so often they halted the plot lines instead of helping their continuity .
The books Fashionably Dead Christmas and Fashionable Dead Diary can be skipped without loosing a beat or plot line. At the cost of an entire book, these tidbits aren’t worth your time or money.
Final word. I love Robyn Peterman’s writing style, general sense of humor and the characters who appear in each book of the series. If you don’t mind the excessive and bizarre swearing, the overuse of outdated slang and the word “kick ass”, you’ll love this series. I will be giving each of the first few books a rating of 5 and dropping that rating to 4 and then 3 as the series moves to the 10th book.
Ebook & Audiobook review: Robyn Peyerman delivers a humorous look into Lucifer’s life, antics, and love story of chasing a siren. A few of the characters from the previous books act as secondary characters. Their foul mouths and wildly entertaining shenanigans will leave you giggling and wanting more. The narrator did a good job providing unique voices and appropriate tone inflections for each character and scene.
enjoy silly books like this
Really ave enjoyed the series!
I loved this story. Of course I lyou be all of Robyn Petermans books. They are just laugh out loud
Robyn Peterman does not disappoint. Fashionably Flawed is a wonderful addition to the Hot Damned series. I was constantly chuckling to myself while reading Satan’s story. I loved seeing all my favorite characters come together again and help Satan out. I loved the chemistry between Satan and Elle. She’s definitely the female version of Satan. I can’t wait for Fashionably Ever After to come out so I can find out what happens next.
Satan has a feeling that something is coming for him but doesn’t know what. So he decides it’s best to deal with the problems at hand first. There’s an individual stealing souls and selling them. What Satan finds when he goes to investigate is not what he imagined. His opponent is gorgeous, sharp and witty. She’s strong and isn’t intimidated by Satan. Elle escapes before Satan has a chance to capture her. Her escape leaves him standing there with his pants tented and intrigued. Haha.
Has Satan finally found his match? Can he track down Elle and figure out what’s coming for him before it’s too late?
When you can pick up a book and know that you will love it, that is a good feeling, but when you know that it will make you giggle and annoy your family by your outburst of laughter… This is why I love this series. Fashionable Flawed cracked me up, but it also made me love the characters of this series that much more. Just when we think that Ms. Peterman has gone as far as she can go with this outlandish world of hers, she takes up where no-one has ventured to go before ;D
A great read and so worth putting aside whatever else is getting in the way of starting this one. Enjoy!!
