Vampyres don’t exist. They absolutely do not exist.
At least I didn’t think they did ‘til I tried to quit smoking and ended up Undead. Who in the hell did I screw over in a former life that my getting healthy equates with dead?
Now I’m a Vampyre. Yes, we exist whether we want to or not. However, I have to admit, the perks aren’t bad. My girls no longer jiggle, my ass is higher than a kite, … higher than a kite, and the latest Prada keeps finding its way to my wardrobe. On the downside, I’m stuck with an obscenely profane Guardian Angel who looks like Oprah and a Fairy Fighting Coach who’s teaching me to annihilate like the Terminator.
To complicate matters, my libido has increased to Vampyric proportions and my attraction to a hotter than Satan’s underpants killer rogue Vampyre is not only dangerous… it’s possibly deadly. For real dead. Permanent death isn’t on my agenda. Avoiding him is my only option. Of course, since he thinks I’m his, it’s easier said than done. Like THAT’S not enough to deal with, all the other Vampyres think I’m some sort of Chosen One.
Holy Hell, if I’m in charge of saving an entire race of blood suckers, the Undead are in for one hell of a ride.

I really enjoyed this book, and found it hard to put down.
The characters are well formed, fun, and different to those I’ve read in other books of this genre.
The story has great plot twists, but I felt that the ending was a tiny bit rushed, that said I’m really looking forward to reading book 2, and seeing what happens next.
I laughed so hard I snorted and hurt my nose. Not what I expected from a Vampire book but it thoroughly entertained me.
Robyn has a way with word creation especially in swearing you would not believe. Very funny series.
I adored this book. Has all the things I look for. Alpha male, sassy female, and absolutely hilarious.
This story moved along with no slow spots. I had a little difficulty getting into the characters and reactions. Then there’s the family drama to learn about.
Outstanding! This story had me roaring with laughter. I loved Astrid with her quirky ways. She is strong and beautiful with humor and antics that will have you balled up laughing. It is well written and has beautiful support characters. It will keep you on your toes and have you begging for more. I absolutely adored this story and Pam is one …
I’ve read this series, and am working my way through the Hot, Damned series. Will read her others series when I’m done.
I’ve rarely met with an author as consistently delightful. Well written, creatively plotted, wonderful characters, and a take on the supernatural that delights.
I can see some people getting offended, but if you are able to …
Robyn Peterman has become my go-to author whenever I need to fly. Her books are so engaging and funny, I forget I’m tens of thousands of feet in the air Her Hot Damned series is one of my favorites, and this first book is a great start to the series.
I laughed so much, this is a light humorous story. Loved her outrage at her stepmother going after her expensive shoe collection.
I thought this book was hilarious.
This book took me a long time to finish. Since this is the first book is the series there is a lot of explanation for establishing the series. The book is way too long with a lot of repetition. Astrid goes from becoming a vampire, to a super vamp, to the chosen one with little explanation. More is written about her wardrobe than character …
Smoking will kill you. So will quitting smoking, as Astrid finds out when she seeks out a hypnotist to stop smoking and ends up a vampyre. Not just any vampyre, The Chosen One, the bridge between light and darkness. She attracts the attention of the Vampyre Prince himself, who wants her as his eternal mate. As she learns more about vampyre …
I absolutely loved this writers voice. Her mixture of humor and a novel idea( get it) on the turning from human world to all things vampire, were refreshing compelling and laugh- your-ass-off-funny. To say I’m totally hooked by this series is a duh moment and to date I’ve fallen in love with her MC Astrid, her h… (oops almost gave away a spoiler …
I absolutely love this series. I snatch them up every time one comes out. Hilarious
Hilarious
I am so glad I didn’t pass up on this free title. I could not stop reading, (had to for the kids though 😉 ). The scenes that ‘Paris’ spells into action are some of the greatest laugh out loud moments. I will definitely read this again.
This is the beginning of one of my favorite series ever. Great characters, amazing twisted humor. Laugh out loud fun, I can’t tell you how many times my coworkers have asked me what I was reading that made me laugh so much.
Contains sexual content.
Astrid has a hateful, terrible mother, but was raised by her loving Nana. Astrid has her best friend Gemma and and inheritance from her Nana, she wants to get a real job, and stop smoking, she thinks it’s time to maybe be responsible. Going to a hypnotist to stop smoking turn Astrid’s world upside down.
This book is one …
