It started when my boyfriend was caught in public with a girls lips on his you know what.People think my life is easy – they couldn’t be more wrong.A girl can never be too thin, too rich, or too famous. From experience I know that’s crap. Well, maybe not the thin part. Men don’t see me – they see my name and my bank balance.Dating is near impossible with the paparazzi following my everywhere. Any … paparazzi following my everywhere. Any sane man would run from that.
When a competitor steals my company’s entire fall line, down to names and packaging, I daydream of tropical islands far away from the mess of my life. He brings me back.
There was one man who saw the real me. A man who wasn’t swayed by the money and was strong enough to deal with the craziness that surrounded me. But we’d been friends to long to move beyond that.
But can I control myself? I have feelings for him but our timing has always been off.

This was a good read. It was nice that both a Cece and Mason finally got together. I just didn’t buy why Mason stayed with Annabelle for so long. Granted maybe she showed him a better side than what his friends saw but also his reason for staying with her was pretty skewed.

4 out of 5 stars
I enjoyed this book but I am sure it would have been so much better if I had read the rest of the series. This was the last book of 9 in this series. I would definitely read more by this author.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Mason and Cece found comfort in each other because their partners humiliated them in the public eye. While they sort companionship they finally see each other for the first time. The chemistry between them is intense, but sweet and the same time.
Thank you for allowing me toreview your book.

I gave this book 4.5 stars.
I loved this series so much, it’s bittersweet to know it’s coming to an end. Cece and Mason finally get their happy ever after. I’ve been waiting for this book for a while now, and Ainsley St Clair didn’t disappoint me.
I highly recommend this series as this book has it you will get your mystery suspense, great characters that are like a family, betrayal, hot sex, twist you don’t see coming, strong women with Alpha males… basically there’s a little bit of everything in these novels. In the end there’s always a happy ever end! I’m a big fan of this author!!!
Before you start this, read the other books in the series first. This would stand alone but you’ll miss some excellent books and the backstory for all the characters that we meet here in this final episode.
This is the wrap up of the Billionaire Venture Capitalists series and all the questions are answers, we visit with all the characters and see what they are doing and CeCe and Mason are finally both single at the same time. There is still the drama of Mason in danger and CeCes business is being threatened. Great read with likeable characters. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
This is the story of Cece and Mason. The story is well written. The romance sweet. This is the last book in the series. It has all the ingredients for a great story.

Fascination, Book 9 in Ainsley St. Clair’s Venture Capitalist Series, in the last book and it features Caroline (CeCe) Arnault and Mason Sullivan. This is a long series and I have only read this book and it can stand alone. You will definitely feel lost at times but you can read it without reading the other stories. Fascination is a delight, bringing her series to an exciting and satisfying ending with the matching of CeCe Arnault and Mason Sullivan. The couple finally acknowledges that they are not just longtime supportive best friends and mutual central members of a band of friends, but that they are in love. They support each other through their lowest moments—Mason has been poisoned and CeCe has been humiliated by her royal boyfriend’s public sexual encounter. They face personal and professional challenges of corporate espionage at both CeCe’s beauty products company and Mason’s venture capital firm SHN.
The book has more depth than just their professional lives. There is friendship, romance, family, birth, marriage. With Mason and CeCe finally united as a couple who can find strength and comfort in their love for each other, and with the support of a band of friends and family, the reader can take comfort that the group can triumph! Ms. St. Clair is a crafty and gifted writer who engages her readers with strong characters and carefully woven plots.

The puzzle has finally been solved. What a great ride it has been. I enjoyed watching the last 2 of the group finally reveal to each other their feelings after a serious incident and then read about their romance blossom. There’s definitely some action and suspense in this final book if the series. Great read.

I was not aware when I agreed to review Fascination that it’s the last of a nine book series. In hindsight, I would not have chosen it simply because there is obviously a good amount of background information that would have been very helpful. There are many characters who have had relationships throughout the series, and I felt like I was, basically, dropped in the middle of an ongoing story. Granted, confusion aside, the story is an interesting look at the importance of social media for the reputations of big companies and the people associated therein. It can be damaging and constricting, but it’s also the price Cece pays for her enormous wealth. I don’t feel sorry for her at all. Mason and Cece are obviously a thing and predictable. The unlnown hackers within the companies were more unpredictable and intriguing because the reasons for attacking are unknown. The story has action and romance, mystery and friendship, and the characters work well as a unit. I was entertained and enjoyed some aspects of this story, but I don’t recommend reading as a standalone.
This story caught my attention from the first page and never let up! The series is about a group of venture capitalists and their friends. Each has a harrowing experience that carries the reader through the book. In this story, Mason’s (hero) company has a hacker that is trying to destroy his company one client at a time while at the same time, CeCe’s (heroine) company also has a hacker that is trying to destroy her company. Mason and CeCe, long time friends that have always a thing for each other try to solve their hacker problems together along with the help of their friends, the FBI, and the US Attorney. This book has it all: kidnapping, espionage, poisoning, a gun-fire attack, high speed chase, hot romance, and even an annoying mother-in-law!
This book can be read as a stand alone; however, there are SO many characters from the other books in the series, that I would definitely recommend that they be read first. I wish I had had a cheat sheet of all the players to help me keep track!
I have fallen in love with this series, each book can be read as a stand alone story or you can read them in order. If you want the background on the other characters in the story then I recommend reading the previous books prior to reading this one but not necessary. A friends to lovers romantic story with suspense, drama and of course steamy romance. Ainsley St. Claire has done a fantastic job writing this series that I’m sad to see it end with this one. You won’t be disappointed after reading this book and this series.

A somewhat complicated plot. The book started very well, grabbing my attention and holding it for a while. This novel presented a very good initial plot with exemplary attention to editing and proofreading. What I found lacking is some variation in the language style for instance. I lost count how many times the author wrote ”to reach out to someone” It is a good phrase but ‘’ask, call, contact’’, to mention only a few would have been equally good similes to use occasionally. The other issue I had was the fact that the billionaire heroin, CeCe, and many of her friends, also financially very well off, kept taking ‘’car-share rides’. How realistic is it, that a billionaire CEO of a cosmetics company would sit in a car driven by a total stranger? I found the plot of the book progressively being derailed by more and more intrigue, criminal intent, kidnapping, industrial espionage, internet hacking, not to mention betrayal and the attempted murder at the start. The relationship between 2 close friends, CeCe and Mason, the alpha billionaire CEO of a venture capitalist company blossoming into love and lust were very well and sensitively handled. I think there was enough material here for 2 books at least. There were so many characters and their significant others described and woven into the plot, that I felt it was hard to see the woods from the trees. What had the title mean in relation to the plot? However, the book had more steam at times than what a fully grown dragon could produce. Wow!! I have given this book 4 stars because I feel that with some re-editing, the book could become an easier to follow read without the reader getting lost in the detail.

ONE DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
OMG! Ainsley spins another block busting wonder that hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration. If you like living on the edge with a plethora of events, emotions and intense chemistry, congrats my friends you’ve found it. Twisted, twinned and put through the wringer as you watch totally frozen to your seat, holding your breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. Drop it did. One action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning dynamo that demands your undivided attention and you follow willingly. The drama, uncertainty and suspense builds as tension spirals propelling this bad boy to life beautifully. Twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few hitches, bumps and bruises that rock this read with every word. Witnessing the characters trials and tribulations as their personalities transform and blend. The characters were so realistic, intriguing and authentic with an undeniable connection between the two main characters. The scenes were so vividly detailed and descriptive it gives the illusion you were right there in ground zero with them. Remarkable job Ainsley, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
A pretty sophisticated friends to Lovers Romance as Cece and Mason are flung together in close proximity as Cece offered to have Mason stay at her apartment to recover from serious poisoning. They found themselves recently single after breaking up with their longtime mates, and it finally seems like their turn to bond.
A twisty Intriguing plot as this wealthy independent couple build their relationship together.
