Very Suspenseful, and Very Sensual
Wow, what a suspenseful book that was. I enjoyed it and felt like I was in the movie theater and I wanted to yell at the characters “What are you doing? run, run I tell you.” This a great read.
This is the first story I’ve ever read by this author, and after reading this, it won’t be the last! This story had all the elements of a great story!
Alex is a successful erotic romance writer, with lots of fans and apparently some that are just crazy, and that’s the beginning of the nail biting, captivating story!! He also has an ex-wife that he still is in love with and a daughter, that is the apple of his eye. So many factors!
This was a really good book. This book had me drawn in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down. The story is very well written and keeps you interested throughout. I recommend reading.

So Predictability was kinda East in some areas of the book.

I loved this book!

This was an amazing read, though I figured it out before Mr. Smart or any other character did lol. Loved it. Talk about crazy fans with more than one screw missing lol. Great job on another great book
First book that I have read from Quinn Slater and I am not sure what took me so long. This book was so good. The characters and the story will keep you on your toes. You won’t want to put it down until you devour the whole book. A must read. This may have been my first book but it won’t be my last from Quinn Slater.

Edge of your seat Suspenseful! I really enjoyed this book. The story is very entertaining and had me on the edge of my seat, never knowing if there was a hot scene coming or wondering what craziness was coming next from the crazed Fan Girl!
This was my first time reading a book by this author. It was a quick read with a bit of suspense.
I have to say I was hoping for a different take and twist on a crazy fan girl. Unfortunately it was same old and quite predictable.
Also, Alex was somehow too messy and inconsistent as a character. His actions and views would change from one page to another.
So in the end, this was just okay read for me. But I will try something else from this author since writing wasn’t bad overall.

Fan Girl by Quinn Slater will hit your sexy book spot if you are looking for a quick seductive read with a bit of suspense. Fan Girl is the first book by Quinn Slater that I have read, so I am rounding up my 3.5-star rating to 4 stars. The writing is good and to the point, but because the story is relatively short, the character development is somewhat lacking. The suspense aspect of the book was just okay for me, and I figured out those parts relatively quickly. In saying that, the story is laid out reasonably well. What did help this book tip my rating over to four stars was the very creative sex scenes.
The main character, Alex Smart, is a successful writer who primarily writes in the erotic suspense genre. Women adore him, and men despise him. Alex is enjoying the ride of his success a little too much. He is a man who is torn between his two worlds, his family, and his success. The perks that come with success may be his undoing. He has an ex-wife who he still loves, who seems to despise him. They share an adorable daughter who is the light of Alex’s life. Unfortunately, Alex gets caught up in all his success and breaks the most important rule, don’t sleep with your fans. Then one of these fans becomes obsessed with him, wanting him to give her a taste of what he writes, and this is when things get deadly complicated. Alex must figure out who is trying to hurt him and his family.
I will commend Mr. Slater on the great job he did emphasizing the loving relationship Alex has with his daughter. This did help me like Alex much more, and I was a little more forgiving of the decisions he made with the little head in his pants. Not sure if Mr. Quinn did this on purpose, but I did appreciate how he used the term “Monkey’s Uncle” in this book. I got a good chuckle out of that.
I did enjoy Fan Girl and would recommend it if you are looking for an easy to read, sexy, suspense book that will keep you entertained. Fan Girl will easily scratch that sensuous itch.

A masterpiece!
FanGirl wasn’t what I was expecting, especially since I’ve read everything written by Quinn Slater. A different story but, so freaking mind blowing. Twists and turns. The delicious heat that Mr. Slater is known for writing and then everything else thrown into a book that wows you until the very end.
If you’ve not read anything by Quinn Slater, you MUST try him. He has that unique ability as a writer to make you swoon and leaving you needing more.
What a great story! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was not disappointed! It had suspense, was thrilling and also had steamy sex scenes I’ve come to love from Quinn Slater! I could not put this book down. It really is a must read!
