Victor Dimir moved to America with his traditional Romanian parents when he was just a child. His Romani parents taught him their traditions and how to be a shrewd business man, but it was the attention of a classmate at school that taught teenage Victor about his sexuality. When he came out to his parents he knew it would be difficult for them to understand, but he never expected them to disown … disown him.
Andrew Jones grew up with a single mom and his grandmother teaching him about life, he had an absentee father at best. The only thing the man ever did for Andy that stuck was buy him a camera for his thirteenth birthday. When Andrew went off to college on a scholarship to study photo journalism, he wound up falling in love with his Romanian roommate.
They became inseparable and wound up starting their own business together: a gay porn website where people could go and watch romantic gay porn instead of the rough and tough, or wham bam thank you man crap that was flooding the internet at that time. After ten years together they were still perfectly happy, not realizing something was missing, until they met a broken young man that needed a family.
Matthew Carlson was homeless, jobless and broken. At sixteen he ran away from home after being brutally assaulted by several young men that he thought were his friends, and then being told he brought it on himself for being gay by his parents. Matthew has done a lot of things these last few years just to get by. When he finds the flyer for All Cocks, he decides to call and see where it leads. What has he got to lose?
Matthew has deep rooted scars that aren’t visible on the outside to most. But when he walks into All Cocks, both Victor and Andrew can see the darkness in his eyes; they also see him. Can three men that did not know they needed each other get past the stigma of society to find a place of happiness, together?
Advisory warning: This story contains a scene of sexual assault.

Fame and Fortune is the second book in the All Cocks Stories series by T.M. Smith. It is the story of how Victor, Andrew, and Matthew came together as a throuple. God, I love throuples!!! And this one builds from a sweet and protective friendship to a hot and steamy committed relationship. The characters are likeable – sweet and fun. They build a little family. The story had some drama and emotion, but also humor and a big dose of heat. It is written from multiple point of views and allows us to feel the many characters. Definitely a good read and made me anxious to read book three next.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
I absolutely loved this fantastic, beautiful, slow burning, poignant, engaging, emotionally charged, grab-you-by-the-feels, heartfelt, lovely, amazing, tug-at-your-heartstrings, charming, made-me-shed-tears-of-both-sadness-and-joy, and totally awesome tale. Victor and Andrew were so sweet, patient, and loving with Mattie, and I really enjoyed watching him bloom. I was hooked from the very first page, and would definitely recommend getting this marvelous gem for yourself.
5 Stars!
OMG! Fame and Fortune (An All Cocks Story #2) continues to be one of my all time favorite menage romances. I am a huge fan of a well done menage story, and this one is beautifully crafted.
Fame and Fortune gives us a chance to go back and see how Victor, Andrew and Matthew came to be partners.
We learn how Victor and Andrew met back in college, how their porn business started, and how they came to meet and fall in love with Matthew.
Matthew is one of those characters with whom you just can’t help but to fall in love. His story is memorable and tragic, but watching him start to trust Victor and Andrew, as well as make other friends, is remarkable.
And Victor and Andrew, well, it truly doesn’t get much better than them. I love them before they meet Matthew, and they are forever in my heart as they take Matthew in and learn to love him.
One of my favorite things about their story is the way Matthew always sits on one his men’s laps. It’s just so telling of his personality and his need to be touched by someone who cares for him.
Again, I love this Fame and Fortune. The relationship between these three men is something very special, as well as powerful. TM Smith manages again to capture the wonderful friendships that create such a strong family bond for all of the All Cocks men.
Meows 4 Purrs ( so hot you need a cold shower) UPDATED VERSION 2020
Fame and fortune is a very sweet romance between three loving men. Though Victor and Andrew have been partners for ten years, they both felt something for the sweet angelic-looking boy Mattie when he showed up for a job. Both men could tell he was broken and not ready for porn shoots. When Mattie finally insists they set him up, and none of them was prepared for Mattie’s reaction. Now Mattie has to tell Victor and Andrew about his past abuse.
I must warn you if you’re susceptible to triggers, there are back flashes of gang rape and date rape drugs. I will say That TM handled it with finesse, and the story has a lot of light moments and sensual loving sex to soften the harsh scenes.
I loved all the characters and the main storyline of the coming to terms with the change in their relationship.
HERE IS THE CHANGES IN 2020 VERSION
Where in the last review I said the story moved fast then skipped quickly through the years and I would have liked to have seen more of the things that happened… My wish was granted. The story moves much smoother now. It focuses on Mathew and how he came to All Cocks and how he fit into the already established relationship between Victor and Andrew, Plus we got to see how that came about as well. There is plenty of heat, a bit of angst and drama, and with Victor’s Romanian accent and vocabulary a touch of humor. I loved it and now I change my stars to five from four.
I highly recommend this if you like gay new adult romance, angst, threesomes, menage, hot man-sex and all over fun, sexy romance!
Review of the audio book.
I loved this! Joel’s voice + T. M.’s words = magic!
I thought this audio book was fantastic! I love audio performances by Joel Leslie and he sure didn’t disappoint me with this one. I read book one of the All Cocks Stories so I was familiar with all of the characters in Fame and Fortune.
While book one, Gay for Pay, focused on the main character of Christopher Allan Roberts and his journey to becoming an All Cocks model named Kris Alen, Fame and Fortune focuses on the triad/thruple of Victor, Andrew and Mattie who own/run/manage All Cocks. They were introduced in Gay for Pay but Fame and Fortune is their story and gives us the background on how they came to be in their ménage relationship.
Victor and Andrew have been together since college; they are much older than Mattie. They meet him when he applies for a job to be a model for All Cocks. Mattie has been through some awful things but he’s reluctant to tell Victor and Andrew everything.
Victor and Andrew take Mattie into their home to care for him and help him get his GED. As they spend more time with Mattie they both begin to realize that he means more to them than just someone they want to help.
This story invoked so many feelings while I was listening to it. Joel Leslie is brilliant at bringing T.M. Smith’s wonderful story to life. I love the accents he does and how easy it is to distinguish which character is speaking while listening to this story. Books that really touch me usually will bring on tears at some point while I’m reading. Joel Leslie can do the same thing to me when he brings an author’s words to life.
I will definitely be listening to more of the All Cocks Stories and reading the ones that aren’t yet available in audio.
A copy of this audio book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
