NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling book!
I wasn’t always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way.
Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him.
Colton didn’t teach me how to live. He didn’t heal the pain. He didn’t make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to … okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go.

Nell Hawthorne is in love with her life-long best friend, Kyle Calloway. Their young love is invincible and life is full of promise; then one night Kyle dies suddenly in a tragic accident and Nell is forever changed. Too. Many. Emotions. I read this book last year and simply couldn’t write a review at the time I rated it. There was too much going through my mind. I reread it this weekend, in anticipation of starting Falling Into Us, which is the second book in this series. I think I can finally write the review on Falling Into You. It was easier to read the …
Good, light read. I enjoy her books.
The author makes the two main characters come to life, allowing you to feel their pain and desires. Wonderful, compelling, emotional. Great story.
I enjoyed it
Although the author did an excellent job of describing Kyle’s death, it was just too descriptive for me. I enjoy reading more upbeat and happy types of book. This bothered me so much I work up in the middle of the night dreaming the death. But did finish the book. But need to move on to something happier. I would recommend if this is what you …
Wonderful read, had my emotions all over the place!
Loved it!!!
Enjoyed
This was my first time reading a book by Ms. Wilder, and I have to say with complete certainty that it won’t be my last! I really enjoyed this book, it had a strong plot, well developed characters, and very captivating story line! It is definitely one of those books that takes you on a little emotional roller coaster, so hold on and enjoy!!
This is one of those books where you get attached to the characters. I actually cried reading some of the book! Haunting is the best way to describe this book. I am still thinking about the characters and I read this book 2 weeks ago. I’ve read at least 8 books since then. I want to re-read this and the rest in the series. When I can’t let go, I …
Reliable for great storytelling. Hard to put down her books.
This book brought out so may emotions! I cried, I laughed and I fell in live with Colton and Nelly.
This was a tough book to read, the characters were so painfully lost in heartbreak, but it came together in the end with hope for the future.
Awesom
Way above average beach read.
I though it was sad but great at the end.
Sad, sweet and lovely to read.
Depressing and I just couldn’t get into the characters. The story such as it was seemed more like a series of events told by a severely depressed psych patient. It was just not believable.
I loved it!
The tragedy is well presented and associative. I think I was actually there feeling her and his hurt!
