The romance continues with FALLING INTO YOU, the 5th book in Barbara Freethy’s bestselling Bachelors and Bridesmaids Series. Seven female friends start out as bridesmaids and end up as brides! Maggie Gordon grew up as an Army brat, moving every other year as the family followed her father around the world. Now what she wants most in the world is a real home, an address that doesn’t change every … change every year, the kind of security most people take for granted. She’s very close to reaching her goals, and then a bad boy biker kisses all her plans right out of her head.
There’s no way she’s giving up her dreams for a man who is too charming for his own good—is there? Cole kisses like an outlaw, and she’s looking for a good guy this time around.
Cole Hastings kissed the beautiful hotel clerk on a whim. The last thing he expected was sparks hot enough to build a lasting fire. He’s been burned by love, and the last thing he’s looking for is a woman who wants to settle down. He tried that once, and it didn’t work. There’s no way he’s giving up his dreams for a woman who’s passionate about gardening, baking and building a home—is there?

I absolutely loved Falling into You; it is an incredible love at first sight love story. It is the fifth book in the Bachelors and Bridesmaids series. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better. I love that they series is based on the lives of eight women who met in their college freshman dorm, became best friends, and promised to be bridesmaids in one another’s weddings. Barbara Freethy has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. Falling Into You did not disappoint, I could not put it down and I loved every page. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. Falling Into You is a love at first sight love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. Falling Into You is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Falling Into You is the story of bad boy Cole Hastings, nephew to Ida Stratton, owner of the Stratton Inn and Maggie Gordon, desk clerk at the Stratton Inn. Cole is working undercover to find out what is really going on at the Stratton Inn, and the role that Harry Stone, the inn’s manager, is playing in these incidents. As Cole approaches the check in desk, he leans over and kisses Maggie, much to Harry’s annoyance and he has Maggie assign him to the worst room at the inn. Eventually, Cole tells Maggie that Ida is his aunt, but does not share with her the real reason for his visit. Cole represents everything that Maggie, and Army brat, does not want in her life. She wants order, and to purchase the home that she is currently renting, all things that Cole detests. Cole wants to get on his motorcycle and ride to wherever he wants. Maggie and Cole spend time together, with the help of his aunt Ida, and things change between. Maggie and Cole share secrets and bittersweet stories with one another. I love that they were both so vulnerable and that they changed because of their love. Ultimately, Maggie wants a house and that is the last thing that Cole is currently interested in. I loved that Falling into You is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Maggie and Cole are facing that need to be resolved. I love that there were multiple storylines: Maggie’s relationship with her father, Cole’s wanderlust, Maggie’s purchasing her home, discovering who is behind the misappropriations at the Stratton Inn, Julie and Matt’s wedding, but most importantly Maggie and Cole’s story. I love all the little things that Cole does for Maggie to help her realize her dreams, and her relationship with her father, and how Cole realizes that his desire to travel isn’t the same since he met Maggie. I love how Cole finds his future dreams while visiting vineyards and wineries with Maggie. I love how all the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love all the descriptions of the California area settings that Barbara Freethy detailed. Falling Into You is filled with the poignant and bittersweet moments in the story as well as the plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Barbara Freethy’s stories. I love the cast of characters in Falling into You and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? Reading Falling into You felt like a family reunion, because the reader was able to catch up with the other characters in the series. Especially, Julie and Matt’s wedding at the Stratton Inn. I thoroughly enjoyed Falling into You, who doesn’t love a love at first sight love story. Highly recommend this wonderfully written story.
