Fake it ‘til you make it has been the motto I live by since my mother died.
I’m also doing a really bad job at the making it part.
The night we met, I was at my lowest.
But you gave me a reason to feel happy again.
For the first time in over a year, I was optimistic.
You and I? We’re the same. Don’t form attachments.Follow the rules. Don’t dream of a future. Too bad our hearts wouldn’t listen. And … our hearts wouldn’t listen.
And this storm we’re going through? The one that threatens to rip us apart?
It doesn’t care that I’m falling for you.
Falling For You is a different kind of brother’s best friend romance. It’s fun, flirty, low on drama and as emotional as it is sizzling.

Oh my gosh! Rex is amazing! Knowing a girl needed him and not even realizing it would change his life forever! Chloe was a mess until this beautiful, sexy man took her out for dessert. I really enjoyed this book! I loved reading how Rex and Chloe’s relationship grew. How they were so comfortable with each other. This book made me laugh and cry. Laugh because they joked with one another and cry for how Rex took care of her and did everything he could to make this girl his. And Ethan and Olivia were in this book too! I don’t want to give anything away, but just know that there is another relationship in this book that come to light as well. Jennifer’s books are amazing and I can’t wait for the next one. I definitely would recommend reading Gone For You first before diving into this one. There is a lot of information that you’ll want to know when you read Rex and Chloe’s story.
A lovely brother’s best friend love story that is so much more. A first read by Jennifer Van Wyk for me but not my last. Characters were strong and well written, with depth and emotion. A must add to your TBR list.
This isn’t your typical brother’s best friend romance, mainly because Chloe didn’t know she had/has a brother until her mother’s deathbed confession. She doesn’t have time to deal with that. Or she refuses to anyway. Her mother told her so she wouldn’t be alone. But that’s how Chloe prefers to be. No attachments, no heartache.
Rex loves his part time bartending gig at his best friend’s bar. Any time he needs to scratch in itch, he doesn’t have to go far. He doesn’t have to work for it much either. But that all changes when he sees a woman crying in the bar. It’s not that hasn’t happened before, but she’s different. Everything about her is different. He lets her into his heart. But what happens when his idiot brother comes into the bar? Will he yet again steal his girl like he has in the past? It doesn’t help that when she meets his best friend, things don’t go very well.
Van Wyk reminds us that family isn’t always picture perfect, sometimes it’s pretty dysfunctional. That dysfunction doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Sometimes the family we create is better than those we share DNA with.

Jennifer Van Wyk has outdone herself with her breathtaking newest book, Falling For You. It is the second book in the All For You series and can be read as a standalone but I recommend you read them in order as they interconnect.
Rex is a playboy. There is no doubt about that. He is known for his one night stands not actual relationships. When he meets Chloe, all bets are off and his heart is a goner.
Chloe has recently lost her mother and learned a few things that have thrown her off balance. When she meets Rex it becomes clear that she has found the one person that will be hers forever.
Holy. Crow. Falling For You had me hooked from the beginning! After reading the previous book in the series, Gone For You, I was excited to read Rex’s story. He is a sweetheart that deserves the world after the crap life he has had. It is no wonder he is the way he is. Then there is Chloe who is also a sweetheart that deserves everything. When you put these two together it is…perfection. I loved that there was no angst and no unnecessary drama. Just pure out romance. Jennifer did an exceptional job with the characters, the plot, everything. I am looking forward to reading the next installment in the series, Staying For You, so I can get a glimpse of Rex and Chloe!
One click this gem today and you will not regret it!!
Super cute story!!
It was always just Chloe and her mom, no other family to depend on. When Chloe’s mom passed away, she was feeling a little more alone in the world. Even though she found out she had a half brother right before her mom died, she didn’t know how to reach out. But she met a stranger one night in a bar who would change everything for her.
Rex’s parents and brother were horrible to him and after trying and failing at love, Rex didn’t do attachments anymore. But one night at the bar where he worked, he saw a distraught, yet beautiful woman who he felt drawn to help.
Will Rex and Chloe learn how to trust in love again?
This story is full of the feels and I loved it! Rex and Chloe are perfect together! Their personalities complimented each other so much and there was plenty of chemistry between them. It was super sweet how they spent time getting to know each other before moving forward in their relationship. Most of the characters in this book are very likeable and I am definitely looking forward to more from this author.
Falling For You by Jennifer Van Wyk is the second book in her All For You series and tells the story of Rex and Chloe. We met Rex in the first book, as he works for Ethan and are friends. We also met Chloe in a very interesting way as well. Though this could be read as a standalone, I do recommend reading the first book in the series before this one.
Rex was fun, sexy and charming and very determined. Chloe was smart and independent. When they meet, Chloe is at the lowest point in her life. There is an immediate spark, but both carry some internal reservations. I loved watching Chloe and Rex fall and seeing old friends, but as this author tends to gives readers, the story was emotional, but it is also light and charming.
Falling For You by Jennifer Van Wyk had some great banter, chemistry and I loved how they fell for each other. It was slow and real and captivated me from start to finish. There are emotional aspects to the story both with our main characters and those around them. Overall this was such a sweet and charming story that was fun and light to read.

Happy reading!
This was a really wonderful romance. It was a refreshing take on the best friend’s brother / sister trope, and with a really personally touching backstory for the heroine, Chloe, as I never had that really important conversation she did with my mom before she passed.
Chloe and Rex have some pretty potentially creepy meet-cutes and early dates, but the author acknowledges that and manages to spin them into great ‘when I met your mother’ type situations. The larger character family is just wonderful – you can’t not like Olivia and Ethan, or Ari and Paul for that matter.
A fun, sweet romance with plenty of steamy love sprinkled in. Recommend!
Falling For You is the second title in the All For You series, although it can easily be read as a standalone.
Rex is might be a bit of a computer geek, but despite his intelligence he defies the nerdy stereo type. He’s sexy, fun, flirty, confident and a bit of a ladies man. He’s honest and when he makes up his mind he wants to get to know Chloe, he’s nothing if not persistent, determined and patient.
Chloe is independent, fun, yet kind of awkward at times and has a tendency to say exactly what she thinks. She’s an endearing, relatable, and realistic heroine.
The chemistry between this pair is undeniable, and the love scenes are hot, and if that isn’t enough, their banter is witty, fun and flirtatious.
Falling For You is a small town romance, with equal parts heat, heart and humor and doesn’t have any over the top drama.
Although this was my first time reading Jennifer Van Wyk’s work, it definitely will not be my last and I look forward to reading additional titles in the All For You series.
Rex and Chloe were everything and more. These two had so much in common nd that made them even more adorable. They met in the strangest way but in a good way, lol. It was the weirdest way of two people meeting but a friendship grew from that weird encounter that then grew into more but nothing was rushed. They both had past with family issues that they never tainted their relationship with. So when secrets were revealed secondary characters were shocked and caught in the middle but it only made his story more adorable. Yes it was emotional and at times very angry and frustrating in Rex case but that didn’t define them and I loved it. Ethan and Olivia were very much involved and it was the best especially Ethan’s and Rex friendship and also Olivia’s friendship with Rex. This group was very nice to read and they had each other’s back in everything once the dust was clear. Can’t wait to read Owen’s story.
Sweet. Cute. Sassy. Full of heart. Those are the first things that pop into my mind when I think about Falling For You. And of course Rex & Chloe!
Chloe was a firecracker. Not afraid to go for the joke to lighten the mood. But also willing to show her emotions, which she wore on her sleeve. And when she first met Rex, it couldn’t have been on a worse day. But not to worry, Rex with his charm and glasses and kindness gets her calmed down and laughing again. I could feel the chemistry bubbling between them and was just waiting for the moment they would give into what they were both feeling. And when they finally gave in, it was well worth the wait. Steammmmmmmy!
But it was the meeting with Ethan that I had been waiting for (if you read the first book in the series, you’ll know all about Ethan and how big of a deal this is). I wasn’t expecting to be smacked in the feels so hard but it got to me. Maybe it was the way they were both so riddled with guilt and hope. Maybe it was the way Rex stepped up for Chloe. Whatever the reason, it was just the thing that everyone needed to really move forward. That’s not to say that Rex didn’t have his share of family to deal with and his was no picnic.
Full of laughter, friendships, heat, family and love, Falling For You was a true delight to read. Jennifer Van Wyk has found her stride writing this small-town romance that is big on the feels.
This was awesome! I loved Rex and Chloe. The chemistry was great between them. I also loved how playful they were. I was glad to see Chloe and Ethan develop a relationship. I believe there is a special place for a couple of Rex’s family members. This was a great book!
Rex and Chloe’s story captured my heart, I couldn’t put this book down and at the same time I didn’t want it to end. Rex is the type of book boyfriend that you wish was real. He is charming, sweet, caring and everything you would want in a man. Chloe has had a rough go of it the past couple of years and is trying to make the most out of life. Neither of them were looking for love but you know what they say, love happens when you least expect it. I loved their instant connection with one another and how Rex couldn’t stand seeing Chloe upset and literally swooped in to try and cheer her up when they first met. From their very first meeting, I knew they had intense chemistry and that this book was going to take me on an incredible journey and I was not disappointed. I loved that this book was a brother’s best friend romance with a twist. I loved the romantic gestures, the vulnerability and the emotions this novel evoked in me. Don’t miss out on this phenomenal small-town romance!
This book is the second book in this series… it was an amazing after Gone for You….
This book was sweet, fluffy and sexy. It will have smiling from ear to ear. Rex and Chloes are just sp adorable.
Rex isnt my usual kinda hero but it was a nice change. He was a nerd but him being swoony and funny totally won me over.
Chloe is a sassy Hairdresser that will not be anyone’s doormat. She is alone except for her half brother.
The night she met Rex all that changed. Her life changed for the better.
I absolutely loved their story. At times they had me in stiches… these two are meant for each other.
It was awesome watching a player fall flat on his ass for this Feisty lady.
Jennifer always gives amazing stories that we can relate to and also read as an adult fairytale. She is proves yet again how fucking fantastic she is. From Banter to the back and forth Jennifer gave us the most intriguing book ever. Grab it now and be Wowed….
Enjoy!!!!

This is such a beautiful story! A sweet, sexy, functional, angst-free romance that had me smiling, swooning and sighing happily. Rex and Chloe’s love story is just gorgeous, and I loved it!
This is the second book in the All For You series. You can read it as a standalone, but be aware that there is some significant character crossover and this book contains spoilers for the first book, Gone For You.
Rex is an IT geek who also works as a bartender with Ethan (hero from book #1) and is known for his ease with women. His reputation as a bit of a player is well known, and he has no interest in a relationship, but he’s a sweet guy with a huge heart, and when he spies a gorgeous woman in his bar who is clearly having a hard time, he is instantly drawn to her and can’t help but try to help her.
Chloe is reeling from the loss of her beloved mother, who was her best friend and biggest support. She’s having a really bad time and is struggling with life when Rex comes into her world. Bright and bold, he is there for her even though she’s practically a complete stranger, and though she is understandably wary of him – especially given his reputation – she can’t help but fall under his spell.
OMG, I love these two together so much! Neither of them are looking for a relationship, and they’re both a little unsure of what’s happening between them. They just know they feel something for each other and they openly and honestly follow their hearts without any angst or drama, and I love that!
“You…you…”
“Me? Me, what? I’m the best kisser you’ve ever had? Can’t wait to have sex with me? Can’t wait for me to date you and woo you and make you realize how fucking incredible I think you are?”
Gulp.
“Yes.”
They are so sweet together, and every little moment between them means so much. Whether they’re just talking, gently touching, spending time together and being playful, or their spine-tinglingly amazing kisses, you can feel the emotion behind it and the connection that is forming, and I just loved it! And Rex… *dreamy sigh*. The man is a dream, and you cannot help but fall for him. He’s smart, funny, and so damn sweet. He puts himself out there for Chloe, working to gain her trust, support her and be there for her, and he holds nothing back, and I loved watching them fall so hard for each other.
“You’ve made me realize what I was missing. Before you, I was going through the motions day to day but not really living. I know this is new and we still have a lot to learn about each other, but for the first time in a long time, I want to try.”
“You do?”
“Yes. You feeling anything like that?”
“I am.”
The sexual tension is great, adding a great intensity to the relationship that they are building, and the sexy time is really hot with lots of feels and a great reflection of their growing feelings for each other.
“I want you, for a lot longer than a brief fling. I see the potential for forever here, don’t you?”
But life is full of surprises, and they have some big ones coming their way. It puts them to the test in ways they never expected, and I loved watching them deal with it all.
The story ends in a great place with a swoony epilogue that left me with a big, cheesy grin on my face. I loved this book and am really excited for Owen’s story coming up next!
4 stars.
Absolutely loved this story!!! I was hooked from the very beginning and did not want it to end. I loved Chloe and Rex so much. They were perfect together, they just complimented each other so well and thier banter was hilarious! Jennifer really knows how to write a love story and that’s why I love her books so much!
FALLING FOR YOU by Jennifer Van Wyk is book Two in the All For You Series. This is the story of Chloe and Rex. I haven’t yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
Chloe is pretty much alone after the lost of her family where is Rex seems to choose not to be involved with his. Rex too is a no commitment person but when these two meet they find a kinder spirit. This is a slow burn with some funny parts thrown in.
Enjoyed their story and hope to read more from this author.
Aww this was such a cute story, kinda sad at time but still very good. This is my first time reading this author and I loved her writing style , can’t wait to read more from her. Bad boy and player Rex claims he wants to be single forever … well that is until he sees Chloe across the room. I know sounds cliche, but it totally wasn’t like that. So much more to this read then a love story. There’s two ppl who need to find out who they really are, and figuring out being alone is not always the best option.
Falling for You is the second book in the All For You series by the talented Jennifer Van Wyk. Jennifer is one of the best small town romance authors out there. She writes what she knows, family, friendships, loyalty, love. We met both Rex and Chloe in Gone for You, but this can be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading Gone for You if you haven’t because it’s awesome! Rex is nerdy sexy with his glasses and his smarts. Chloe is comfortable with her body and who she is. Together they are perfection. Their banter is hilarious and their chemistry is off the charts. I couldn’t decide who I loved more Rex or Chloe! She made Rex want to be a better man. Made him want more than a one night stand. Rex made Chloe want to finally find happiness. Gave her something to look forward to. I loved the connections, the easiness of their relationship. Jennifer always reminds me why I love romance. For the love. For the heat. For the fun. For the relationships. Overall, Falling for You made me laugh, cry, has just the right amount of angst and sexiness and left me wanting more.
Overall Rating: 1/2
I didn’t have the pleasure of reading the other book in the All for You series, but you can bet, after reading Falling for You by Jennifer Van Wyk, I will definitely add Gone for You to my Kindle library. Why, you might ask? Well, here goes…
Falling for You, the second book in this series, is a story about finding love and family in the midst of loss. The blurb suggests it’s a “best-friend’s brother falls in love with little sister” story, but, in the traditional sense of that trope, this isn’t the case. Instead, this story is one of finding your soulmate and letting go to find love.
Rex and Chloe are two individuals, content with living life on their own terms. Those terms include living a singleton life forever. Neither Rex or Chloe believe they will find “the one.” Then, one day, as Chloe sits in the bar where Rex works for his best friend (part-time), he spies her, and life changes. For both of them. From the first meeting, these two are destined for each other. However, Chloe’s identity could undo them. Or will it?
From the start, this couple is everything good about romance. They are witty, intelligent, and successful adults who simply have never found “the right one” until they find each other. Rex is seemingly the player, and he is…until Chloe. Chloe is struggling with life in the wake of her mother’s death; however, she is doing it well. Adding Rex into her life simply adds more layers and depth, which is also the case with Rex’s life. Together, they are sweet and funny and incredibly sexy. They are definitely steamy on the page. I think what I loved most about them is their ease. Trust me, I love angsty, heart-rending romance. It’s my favorite to be honest. Except that a heart can only take so much angst and alpha-holes before it needs couples that have enough chemistry on the page to keep you engaged in their story even when they have an ease about their relationship. And that’s the genius of this book. There isn’t a lot of turmoil between Rex and Chloe. Instead, the angst and turmoil comes from outside forces. Even then, it isn’t overwhelming that you stop reading because the story gets difficult to read. Instead, Rex and Chloe together sweeten the story to help the bitter go down. They are my favorite part of Falling for You.
Lastly, Jennifer Van Wyk’s story of finding family in the midst of loss is heady. It reminds us that we define family. Our biological family doesn’t need to stand in for us if we find an abiding love and support from people who genuinely care for us. I don’t want to share too much about this part of the story because I think it’s the meat of this book (beyond Rex and Chloe’s relationship). So…read this book to understand the significance of this part of the story.
If you love sweet couples who genuinely care and trust in each other, you will love Falling for You by Jennifer Van Wyk. She writes stories that allow you to breathe and fall in love with the characters as you read them fall in love on the page.
