Fake it ‘til you make it has been the motto I live by since my mother died.
I’m also doing a really bad job at the making it part.
The night we met, I was at my lowest.
But you gave me a reason to feel happy again.
For the first time in over a year, I was optimistic.
You and I? We’re the same. Don’t form attachments.Follow the rules. Don’t dream of a future. Too bad our hearts wouldn’t listen. And … our hearts wouldn’t listen.
And this storm we’re going through? The one that threatens to rip us apart?
It doesn’t care that I’m falling for you.
Falling For You is a different kind of brother’s best friend romance. It’s fun, flirty, low on drama and as emotional as it is sizzling.

Jennifer never ceases to amaze me. She writes heartfelt stories that linger in your thoughts long after the last word on the page. This story proved to be a redeeming story for all characters. It encompasses, encourages and inspires. I couldn’t put it down even with a sty in my eye. It just took a little longer to feel the emotional journey that Rex and Chloe ventured on. Rex and Chloe were destined to be and regardless of the circumstances they defied odds, boundaries and personal demons. Jennifer knows her audience and captured so many moments to last a lifetime.
I could only rate this 5 STARS but ultimately it is a book that has unlimited stars in our Galaxy of the reading world.
Falling for You by Jennifer Van Wk is the second book of her All for You series, and this book is about Rex and Chloe who we meet in the first book. Rex and Chloe arent looking for love or a serious relationship when they found each other, but we know life has some other plans. When they meet you can feel that perfect click, but they fight to recognize it, they start getting to know each other and decide to give it a try, and if you want to know what happen you NEED to read the book as soon as is LIVE!!
The book is soo good, we know more about the characters from the first book, and also we get to know how this couple is related to the couple of the first one and how that relationship goes. i have to say i LOVEE this book so much, small town romance are some of my favorites books and Jennifer writes amazing stories in this category!!
This book has all kind of moments, you will laugh and even cry a little, but the story is so good and so worth to read it!
Congratulations Jennifer for another incredible story and can’t wait to read the next one!
Rex & Chloe are SO SWEET!! This story is warm & heartfelt, fun & steamy, and contains a few surprises that will just melt your heart, too.
From the minute they meet, these two have an “in” with the banter. They play well off each other, starting out with an unconventional friendship-that-includes-attraction. I love the way they don’t want to rush into a physical relationship, but still manage to have an intimate relationship. They aren’t about a wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am. They take the time to build a relationship that they know will last – even when surprises are thrown their way.
Absolutely thumbs up on this story & I highly recommend it for when you want to feel all the warm, bantery feels! : )
This book was beyond amazing and probably one of the best books that Jennifer has written. If you have not read Gone for You DO NOT read this review there are spoilers.

I fell in love with reading this book, because it wasn’t the ending that I wanted to get to. It was the story of how they fell in love. This story was so detailed, raw and real so many people could relate to it. So lets start off with the story line. My review for Gone for You (#1 in the All for You series) stated that it ended with a cliffhanger and one you were hoping would get resolved. Well spoiler…this story resolved it and not in any way that I thought possible. I liked that not only was this a love story between Rex and Chloe but I loved that we got the ‘love’ story of Chloe, Ethan and Paul. I enjoyed that story line as much as I enjoyed Rex and Chloe.
This story had such great character development. Nothing was rushed, you got enough detail and the way this story was written was if you were watching a movie and it was amazing. I liked that this story progressed over the course of months. It wasn’t your average we met, fell in love and moved in together in 1 month scenario. You saw this relationship develop over the course of months. The conflicts the characters dealt with were really life conflicts and they made sense in the story line. All the conflict was resolved in an adult and an appropriate manner which is not something that I find common in romance novels (I feel a lot of conflict in romance novels is very petty). So I liked that Jennifer made this book relatable.
This love story itself was so fun to read! I certainly found myself wanting my own Rex because he was so sweet, funny and understanding. I will 100% read this book again because I loved the fun and happy feeling I felt the entire time I read this book as well as the ending.
I recommend this book to anyone who has read Gone for You and loves romance novels. And if you haven’t already go check out Jennifer’s other series as well!
Can’t wait for the 3rd! I am wanting Owens story as well as Ari’s story!!!! Loved all these characters, well done Jennifer!
Sometimes it’s nice to have a drama filled romance story. Other times, it is nice to just have a simple simple sweet romance.
This is a sweet romance start to finish with just a tad bit of drama added into it. And I loved every moment of this story! It’s hard to find a pure sweet story that’s not a novella. Jennifer nailed this one!
Chloe and Rex just click from the moment they meet. Perhaps love at first sight??? They travel there relationship slowly.
Very slowly.
As friends, these two are great. Friendly. Funny. As a couple, they are amazing. I truly cannot express enough how much I enjoyed this couple. Definitely one of my favorite book couples.
This is book 2 in this series. It can be read on its own, but I feel you will be missing out on some good back story. Ethan and Olivia from book 1 show up in this book a lot. Which I loved! I enjoyed getting to know them. Now I can hardly wait for Owen’s story. 🙂
P.S. Troy is a jackbutt… I hope not to see him again.
Eeeeeppppp. So i truly loved this one. I would have probably devoured it in one evening if i had had more time to read. But nonetheless this was so good and a great follow up from Gone for you. The author brings back some of my favorites, well actually all my favorites from that book. Bahaha don’t judge me but i love them all. I loved Rex when i first met him in Gone for you and knew that i just couldn’t wait to see who was going to knock him on his butt so to speak. But Chloe had so much story to her and how her life was before and everything she’d been through. I felt for her a bit because i have been in her shoes a bit when it came to some of her experiences. So those kinda hit at home. It was such a beautifully written book. Rex was so swoonworthy. Ugfh. Like couldnt get enough of the nerdiness at all. I really enjoyed it and i hope people grab this book and enjoy it as much as i did!
I have been looking forward to this book since we were introduced to both Rex & Chloe in the first book in the series Gone For You. I had no idea how amazing Rex would be!!! I just knew that I couldn’t wait to read their story and how they would meet and come together. Rex is not only HOT but he’s so dang funny and sweet that you will totally fall for him in “Falling For You”. This was the perfect small town romance that’s warm and heartfelt, fun and steamy and you’ll have your heart melt with the way Rex treats Chloe.
I absolutely love their banter from the moment they meet. I love that even though Rex is known as the playboy bartender he doesn’t rush things with Chloe. I so did not expect that! Rex works to build a relationship with Chloe based on friendship and caring first. Of course they have a physical connection but he wants to make sure that they know each other first and you can just see that they are meant for each other. They both have pasts and we hear their stories as they deal with their baggage and as they fall in love. I have so many favorite parts!
Jennifer Van Wyk delivered yet again! You’ll want to grab this tender, romantic, witty and steamy read! Don’t miss out on Falling For You!!!
4.5 Stars
I have been a fan of Jennifer Van Wyk’s books since her first novel was released. Since then, I have devoured everything she has written. Falling For You is the second book in the All For You series.
Rex had a pretty awful upbringing; parents who were obvious in their favoritism to one son left him without family, and pretty unwilling to commit to anyone. Chloe was raised by a single mother who loved her dearly, but on her mother’s deathbed, she found out some life-changing news. Right from the start, Rex felt a pull toward Chloe, and they work through their difficulties and find the family that they both need.
I really liked Rex and Chloe! I loved the sexy nerd vibe that Rex gave off (I’m a sucker for a guy in glasses!)! I liked that their sense of maturity grew as the novel went on.
Falling For You was well-written, the plot was developed well, and the characters were relateable. I can’t wait for more in the All For You series (yay, Owen!).
I totally fell for Falling For You! This was the perfect small town romance. The characters are all ones you feel you could be best friends with.
The way they live, the way they meet, the way they fall for each other just feels real. There is nothing contrived about their connection. They simply come with the typical baggage that people bring into new relationships. And this book tells their story as they help each other deal with their own issues, grow and fall in love.
Falling For You is a tender, romantic, witty and steamy read! Don’t miss out on it!
First and foremost, I want to start off by saying how talented this author is. Jennifer Van Wyk has this amazing way of writing very compelling stories, with such tenderness that showcases through the maturity of the characters. I immensely enjoyed how this author wrote Rex and Chloe’s perceptions. It was authentic, with bounds of chemistry. Great character development and witty dialogue. Jennifer Van Wyk did not force her characters to be anything but real, and I felt that. There was not an explosive plot with excessive adult relations. There is an actual story in Falling For You, a real honest story. Falling For You is a brilliant read, a worthy read.
Rex is everything a hero should be. Sweet, and talented, with a touch of the whole alpha thing. He is honest, witty, smart and charming. He has the patience of a saint, and the determination of lion.
Chloe is the true form of what most women are. She felt real and authentic. Witty and fun. She has great social skills, and enjoys making women feel beautiful. She is open and honest, and loves food.
When Chloe meets Rex, she is at the lowest point in her life, and Rex is determined to change that. But with the past lurking in the background, can Rex and Chloe overcome all the obstacles in their way? Or are they too much of a forgone conclusion?
Beautiful!
Rex and Chloe’s story brought all the emotion and I loved it! I loved how they were all in and never wavered in their relationship. They knew what they wanted and went for it! Love it!
Nice twist on the brothers best friend trope but it took too long for Chloe and Ethan to come to the realization, and once they did, the resolution of their issues was too easy. Again as with the first book in this series I thought the banter between the characters bordered on juvenile and even crude. When Rex makes a pussy joke to Chloe literally within hours of meeting him it turned me off, AND SHE LAUGHED instead of being insulted. What does that say about how women want to be spoken to? I’m not saying this wouldn’t happen later in a relationship but literally within hours? No. I thought Chloe was immature for a woman who lost her mom and owned her own business. Owen seems the most mature of the bunch so I’m excited to read his story.
I really enjoyed this book. A very sweet story with some fun little twists to keep you on your toes. Definitely relatable characters which always makes the story more fun to read

5++++++ Stars
Oh my wow! This story is absolutely AMAZING!! Fabulous! Fantastic! Fell in love with all of the characters and their awesome chemistry! Quite a few different of emotions.
“I’m falling for this man. And lucky me, he’s falling right along with me.”
What a job well done! Couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for the quintessential book boyfriend, look no further. Rex is amazing! He’s a computer savvy handsome bartender with a great sense of humor.
Chloe, our heroine, is a tough as nails hairdresser who is dealing with the loss of her beloved mother.
When the two meet, sparks fly. And continue to fly.
I loved this take on brother’s best friend romance and loved the opportunity to check in on some favorite characters from the previous book in this series. Can’t wait to see what’s next from Van Wyk!
Rex is a nerdy computer guy by day and by night he bartends at the bar his best friend owns, They Flying Goat. When he notices a pretty woman sitting in the bar crying, for some reason he is drawn to her. He wants to know what is wrong and how he can fix it, which is a new feeling for Rex. He’s more of a love them once and leave them kind of guy. So when he approaches the table and corrals the upset woman to the office at the bar, he soon realizes one night might not be enough.
Chloe has had the worst luck lately. Her mother passed away, then she got denied for a loan, and then she totaled her car. When he friends convince her to come out to The Flying Goat for a drink, she never thought she would meet a guy who could turn her life upside down. One night, that was all it took for Rex to insert himself in Chloe’s life. As the two start to get to know each other better and their chemistry becomes too much, are they prepared for what happens next?
This is the second book I’ve read by Jennifer Van Wyk, and I absolutely adored it. I appreciate that her books are quick and emotional reads. There is some drama in this book, but the drama isn’t the main focus, nor is the drama a huge big thing. I think that is one of the reasons I liked this book so much, and this series so far, because everything is so relatable. All of the characters are so down to earth and their stories are something that people experience in everyday life. This was an absolutely amazing book, and I can’t wait for the third book to release!
