loved this story
Too unrealistic
I wanted another palate-cleanser after I didn’t finish a book and this seemed like the perfect choice. And it was in a lot of ways! But it didn’t wow me. It was quick, it was easy, and it was interesting. But there wasn’t any real depth to the emotions for me. It was obvious where it was going from the beginning and I wish there had be a little more conflict or that they had sat in the existing conflict a bit longer.
Major props to the cover choice, though! It’s one of the first covers I’ve seen in a long time that looks really representative of the characters and the story. Really well done there.
I’d recommend this as a beach, easy, palate-cleanser if someone is well-read but there are others out there that I’d probably recommend first.
An enjoyable read.
Reading this now. Seems very predictable. I may not finish…
This book drew me in loved the characters and the storyline
This was a sweet homey story. At times it was a bit ‘normal’ and somewhat predictable, but overall a sweet read. The only thing I really did not like was that Katie was touted as the girl next door, sweet, does not swear, only had sex once in her life and the experience broke her. However, with all that said, she was totally okay and completing understanding of a sex only no strings relationship with a man she barely knows. This was a hard pill to swallow and was way too far out of character.
But don’t get me wrong, I do love the characters and they were multi dimensional. I do not normally read the cowboy themed stories, but was able to get on board with this one.
just finished it. I really enjoyed it. From a small town myself I could relate. well done
Unusual but really inspiring for those who are willing to take risks!
You can’t put it down!
Excellent I thoroughly enjoyed it
I love second chance book and throw in a nerd who has grown into giant skin and I’m all for it.
Seemed like a good story starting out but I just don’t prefer bad language so stopped reading
While it was written, I struggled to get through this book. Just very predictable
